Today was the first time I ever ate at Daves Hot Chicken. I have been a spicy food eat for as long as I was in diapers so I am glad that I was able to try it out I arrived shortly after they opened at 10:15am. No one was here besides me but in reality...who wants spicy food at 10am? Not to mention, most people are probably working at this time Upon entering, I was greeted by Mira (I believe). She was very friendly and asked if this was my first time and she explained the menu and the different options. I really appreciated her and that level of service For my late breakfast, early lunch... I got the Daves Big Trio with Hot as my pick. It came with 6 Bites, 4 mini sliders, and 2 pieces of Mozzarella sticks and 3 sauces. Everything was crispy and delicious. For someone who does eat spicy food... Hot was perfect. The first few bites, I thought "Oh...not bad at all...not spicy tho". However, the hot just kept building and building and around halfway mark, I had to drink some water and it was creeping towards "wow..spicer than I was prefer to eat as an everyday thing". We love Dave's Hot Chicken. You have to determine the right heat level . I like hot food but if I order it too hot I only taste heat not chicken so I have determined hot is my level. The only downside of eating here is the wait but I believe since one is special ordering their heat level the wait may be warranted. We like the outside area for eating in warm weather.Dave's has a great app for ordering too. read more

Wow, the difference between medium and hot was quite a step in spice. But the jump from hot to whatever was after hot was insane! Finally a real spicy chicken. Made me teary and question my choice. Service was fast and decor was a vibe inside. My only complaint is the cost of the chicken and the cooking oil used to fry the chicken. read more

I've only been to a Dave's hot chicken once before. This experience didn't live up to my other. Service was mediocre and very slow even tho it was not busy. I got a Dave's #2 - 2 sliders and fries. Fries were cold and chicken was slightly warm. There are definitely better options around. read more

Decided to try this new place. Going through the drive through I almost changed my mind when I saw the prices. The cheapest meal was $10 which was just a slider and fries (no drink)! I decided to try it anyway. Just 2 cars ahead of me and the wait was ridiculous. Took about 15 minutes for the first car to get their order (not at all large). The next went faster (I'm guessing they had to cook more chicken). The slider was okay. Chicken was tasty but dry. Fries were very salty, even too salty for me, which is saying something. They would need to reduce their prices by at least 25% before I would be back. If I'm going to spend that much, I'll go to Chik Fil-A or Popeye's. read more

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first time we gave it a five this time it's a 3 1/2. The hot cauliflower nuggets were really good. I recommend eating them right away. We traveled 10 minutes home and they were much softer. The chicken, tender, à la cart, was a disappointment. On our last visit, it was a very large tender to cover the whole slice of bread. Went to the Batavia location, heard mostly negative reviews online, so we thought we'd try it out and judge for ourselves. Ordered 2 #4 and 1 # 3 + 2 drinks. Wait times were long. When our number was finally called, all I saw was a small bun with just a chicken tender, dry, and sprinkled with spice powder of your likings. Kale slaw, tons of pickles, Squirt of sauce. Fries were crispy, and we enjoyed them, but for $45 we expected more of a moist chicken breast sandwich and normal bun size. We won't be back, can't compare to CANES, sorry! This is IMO. read more

YUMMMMMMMM I also told the manager that we came from somewhere else that was supposed to be open and they decided they closed their kitchen early and he said what kind of business is open till 9 o'clock on a Friday? I said well actually it's 8:30 since they wouldn't take our order and he agreed and said that that was crappy and I said well ended up here and I'm glad I did because the food was delicious. Should be called daves expensive chicken. The flavor was good but was on the dry side. The number of pickles was good. For the 10$ I'll be going to the competition across the street. I recently took my granddaughter out for a milkshake. She picked this restaurant over another restaurant known for their shakes. We were greatly disappointed. We had visited this location today for our first visit to Dave's. We ordered our food at 3:02 pm and didn't get our food until 3:33 pm. The manager lost our order and instead of admitting it, he just made excuses, when everyone else that came in after us, had received their orders. When we finally got our food, our bites were ice cold. The only compensation offered was a free drink. We ordered a loaded Oreo shake and it was like soup. The location wasn't overly busy, but for $40 I expect to at least get good, hot food. Skip this place, bad service, cold food. read more

I had never been to Dave's Hot Chicken, so when they opened this location I decided to try it. Although it was day one, so I waited for an hour in the drive thru line, I ordered online while waiting so it was ready when I got to the front. I got a slider meal, medium heat. It was really good. The fries were excellent with lots of seasoning, and the slider was bigger than most full sized sandwiches elsewhere. The chicken was really good. The Dave's sauce is really good, get extra. It was way more food than I expected, so although it's not cheap, it's a good value especially compared to Chick filA. I will definitely be back! read more

I'm not sure if this place was so bad because it was busy, or if that's just how it is. I went there and the 2nd day of opening and got the Dave's number 3 meal, with fries and a drink. When I went to get my drink, all of the types of soda were pumping out tons of syrup, barely any carbonated water. It wasn't a drink at this point, just a thick, overly sweet slurry. I could tell it wasn't just me thinking there was something wrong with the drinks, many other people were dumping theirs out and filling them with just water. Not to mention, the place was really loud. Maybe because of such a small building and many people. After getting my order, I saw it was wrong because I ordered one tender and one sliders, but got 2 sliders instead. It wasn't a big deal though. However, the amount of batter put on that chicken was insane. I tore off a little piece of my tender, only to discover it was a big clump of fried flour! Like really, I get it's fried but bro.
