We like our patio cover, but it was hard to communicate with Willy. Not sure if it was because we got a deal for the patio cover with our solar, but we were never a priority. Took well over a month to try and get an install appointment. The install was quick, about 2 days, but he left the fan and flush mounted light hanging down to be inspected by the city and told us he'd be back within the week to finish the install and never came back. My husband and I have reached out multiple times and haven't heard back from him. It'll be a year in April since we had our install. Got tired of reaching out and my husband finished the job himself once he got back from his deployment. Very frustrating. read more

I had them install a patio cover due a free patio cover promo deal with my solar panel company. I was under the understanding they would tear down my existing cover and install a new one. Since the existing patio was built into the house, they could not remove it all, which I understood and continued with the project. What I did not expect is the poor demo job they did. They took a sawzall to my original cover, took the facia board off and left it uneven. I spoke with Willy after and he said I was responsible for the facia board replacement as they are not roofers ( why would they mess with the roofing in the first place?) and I sent him pictures and I did not get a response at all after this. As a result of that, the roll roofing came up with the winds, and when it rained it leaked into my house causing damage. He contacted me again after seeing this review and said I never gave him a chance to fix it and since I did not have a direct contract with him, that it's out of his hands. I understand I did not have a contract with him, but did expect a good job done, and at least fix what his crew messed up. That would be the right thing to do. He did not own his crews mistakes and extremely poor job. I had to take out a claim to fix this issue, and for whatever reason Willy seems to think it's ok to wash his hands of the situation his crew created. Pretty unprofessional. I'd stay away. read more

Called Willy on Monday 5/17/2021 and asked for a quote, Willy gave me a verbal over the phone with the approximate measurements I provided, which was 16' x 16' and stated he would need to come out and measure to give an official quote. I called Willy back 20 min. later with the correct measurements 13' x 15', he also quoted me for teardown of old cover and hall it way along with a new permit. Willy said he would be at my house Thursday 5/20/2021, did not show up or call. I called Friday morning 5/21/2021 and Willy said he was finishing a job early and would be by to give me the quote that afternoon, again no show no call. I texted Willy on Saturday 5/22/2021 and asked if he was still coming, he texted back stating he was sorry he did not make it on Friday and stated he would be at my house Monday afternoon 5/26/2021. Shockingly he again did not show up or call. I texted him after 5 pm on 5/26/2021 and asked if was coming by or if he just did not want to do the job. After texting back and forth for 20 min. he finally stated that the job was just to small and he did not want to do it, and went on to say he did not think anyone would do the job, only to offer to refer me to his buddy one sentence later. I fully understand if a contractor does not want the job if it is to small for their business model. What I do not understand is why a contractor would string a customer along leading them to believe that were wanting the job and were coming to give a quote only to wait a week later to let the customer know the job is to small. I had called and received 3 verbal quotes on Monday 5/17/2021 and canceled the other 2 since Willy stated he could do the job and is local to my area. I now need to start the whole process again. Our backyard is small so I had concerns that the patio cover would take up too much space and make it feel even smaller, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It actually makes it feel bigger, and the height is perfect for a fan to help keep it cool and flies away. Since having this done, we have spent hours outside every day. We almost didn't go through with this project, but Willys price couldn't be beat and his time frame was perfect! Willy did a fantastic job replacing the gutters on my 1911 craftsman home. Most of the contractors I contacted declined the job because it was too difficult. The house is three stories. All of the work had to be done from ladders since the roof was too steep. The roof corbels had to be notched out for the gutters and then sealed. Etc.
