I would like to start off by saying Grand Canyon Patios Cover provided us with great quality at a very reasonable price. Alfonso is a man of his words. He pays an extensive amount of attention to detail. Our patio was well done, with excellent craftsmanship. We are extremely happy with the addition to our home. We'll definitely refer this company to our family and friends for their backyard enhancement needs. Alfonso also provided many ideas and suggestions to us that you'll have many different options of patio work to choose from. He answered all our questions very well. As for as professionalism goes, he and his crew performed a fantastic job, even with the cleanup afterwards. For pricing, he got every other company beat due to the quality and craftsmanship of the job. I consider myself picky and wanting things to be in the right order when huge projects are in my plans. And with this company, they've exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the company for their due diligence and I look forward to working again with them possibly in the future. Yemil was also awesome for taking it a step further by installing a beautiful aluminum patio, and we couldn't be happier. The turnaround time was quick, faster compared to other companies. We couldn't believe how quickly this crew worked, along with how stupendous the quality is. We'd give this company 6 out of 5 stars if possible. Great work by everyone and thank you for helping us transform our home. -Seth read more

I need to change my review after my initial response. At first, I was very happy- the patio looked good and was done quickly. However, I then looked at the electrical work and it could have killed someone. The "electrician" that was sent did not wire the switch properly, did not use bushing and use self tapping screws to mount an electrical box INTO ANOTHER ELECTRICAL BOX. Luckily, I am an electrician so I fixed these problems myself. Hopefully they are not still using this guy but I'm sure they are. THEN, the rain came. Several lights filled with water, one of them burned out. I contacted the owner to fix it under warranty and at first he refused. He said it was my problem for not having rain gutters. I pushed and he relented. He puts me on a group message with one of his managers who never responds to any of the texts and the owner never responded. Use them at your own risk, there are cheaper and more professional installers out there. read more

We had our alumawood patio done in the summer of 2020 . Yemil is the best . I shopped around for quite a while before I chose him. Of course I had to do my research to learn about this kind of business, so I could know what questions to ask. He answered all my questions very well .They did a wonderful job . It was a clean job, no mess was left after they finished and they made sure to keep my pool clean as well . After 2 years it is still beautiful and sturdy, just like new . It's rained a few times over the 2 years, but no leaks have occurred, and our patio was attached to the roof. Beat all the prices out there . Thank you for your good work and I will definitely work with him again if I need to. read more

We just had our patio cover built and completed this past week by Yemil and The Grand Canyon Patios and WE ARE IN LOVE. We found Yemil after seeing the work he had done in a neighbor's backyard and knew we didn't need to look any further. He was our guy and Yemil did NOT disappoint! We had a 25' by 15' patio cover installed that attaches to the back of our house. We added (6) LED integrated light fixtures and (2) downspouts. I am very picky about color and aesthetics and know exactly what I want and the color combination I selected was not conventional and Yemil was thoughtful throughout the process making sure I was getting exactly what I was asking for while explaining all the options. Yemil is very careful about detail, including being "by the book" when it comes to local building and code requirements. He was careful to get needed permits and made sure we understood the process every step of the way. At this point, everything is completed and we are waiting to hear when the county will be by to sign off. If you want to beautify your space, please call Yemil and give him a shot at your business. We are very happy that we did and love spending time in our backyard now! read more

Spoke with Alfonso. He had all sorts of ideas.. sent me numerous pics and even gave me an estimate (which was quite high). Called him back several times to confirm to advise that I wanted to go with his company, but I never got a call back. Finally called me back days later and said he was out of town and would call me for sure the next day. Guess what. He never did, and I never heard from him since. Hopefully, nothing happened to him! I guess this is a blessing in disguise since I went with another company and am totally pleased with the results read more

This is probably one of the easiest reviews to write. I was given Yemil's info from a friend with high recommendations. We already had a company in mind but gave him a call anyways. He came out on a Sunday and was very easy to speak with and addressed every question I asked and also brought up some great points to think of with the patio project. I was very impressed with his knowledge and no pressure quote. His quote took about 30 minutes but he already earned my business within the first 15 minutes. We agreed upon the estimate and within a month it was completed. He takes pride in his work and was done in two days but on the last day he stayed almost three hours extra cleaning up and making sure it was perfect before he left. I would recommend Yemil to anyone interested in a patio cover with no questions asked. read more

A couple of my coworkers had patio covers built by this company so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with the owner Yemil, and he was very responsive by phone or text message and he answered all of my questions promptly. He also was the lowest price out of all the quotes I received, very reasonable. I needed the cover by a certain date for a family gathering. Although he could not guarantee it, in the end he was able to get the materials in and build the patio for me on time. Like they came the next day, and built it! My patio cover looks awesome, and I couldn't be happier. Give Yemil a call, it'll be worth your time. read more

Grand Canyon Patios did and amazing job on our aluminum patio cover. They were able to get the cover fully completed in under a week including all of the city inspections. I talked to other patio cover contractors and they told me that it would take up to 4 months to complete the job because they were backlogged. We left for vacation the day before the final inspection but they were able to insure that the final inspection took place and they locked up our backyard once it was complete. The cover looks awesome and it keeps the patio and house cooler on hot socal days. They installed all of the LED lights on the posts and the ceiling fan at no cost (I just had to supply the fixtures). I have already referred multiple people to them and I may have them install a second cover in my backyard. It was a pleasure dealing with the Grand Canyon Patios. read more

Could not be more pleased with the patio cover from Grand Canyon patio's. They did a great job with putting a very nice patio in my back yard. We had a few different companies that came to bid for our job. No one came close to Yemil and I'm glad I went with him! Had a wonderful experience with Yemil from bid to finished project. The work was completed in 2 days by the owner himself (Yemil) and a helper. The workmanship is impeccable and he properly cleaned up afterwards. Our patio cover before was an eyesore and embarrassing. It was dirty white with rust and it was just ugly. I can't believe how much different our entire backyard looks now! It is beautiful and I actually enjoy being outside in my backyard. We grill more and can finally enjoy BBQs outside without the embarrassment of an ugly backyard patio. I recommend Grand Canyon patio's without hesitation! I purchased a combo cover which consist of covered section and open lattice. It's more modern and we are impressed with the finished product. Yemil is one of my newest clients as I run a permitting business where I help contractors pull permits and draft plans for their many projects. I felt compelled to write this review as Yemil has shown a great interest in the protection of his clients. When our team points out an issue with the way a project is structured or engineered, he's always looking for alternatives where we can save the client the most while retaining the same aesthetic and structurally sound qualities. It's a pleasure working with Grand Canyon Patios, and we look forward to contributing more to their company's success. read more

A couple years ago I had Yamil and team come and install a 50' patio cover. My wife and I liked it so much that we invited the team back to install another patio cover on our side yard. The first consultation was super easy and he designed a cover that is perfect for our space. During the install Yamil and the team were extremely clean and cleaned up the workspace each evening. Before the install I texted him some questions and he was super quick to respond. I would highly recommend Grand Canyon Patios to my friends and family. read more

I rarely leave comments or recommendations, but this company definitely deserves one. Yemil and his team did an outstanding job! They were professional, friendly and their communication with me was perfect. If there was a question they weren't sure of, he would ask instead of assume. The price was comparable with others, and their service was excellent. He gave me choices and did not try to upsell me anything. They tore down my old patio, replaced my new alumawood patio (20X24) and cleaned up everything in 5 days! I have other friends who plan on using them in the future.
