I need to change my review after my initial response. At first, I was very happy- the patio looked good and was done quickly. However, I then looked at the electrical work and it could have killed someone. The "electrician" that was sent did not wire the switch properly, did not use bushing and use self tapping screws to mount an electrical box INTO ANOTHER ELECTRICAL BOX. Luckily, I am an electrician so I fixed these problems myself. Hopefully they are not still using this guy but I'm sure they are. THEN, the rain came. Several lights filled with water, one of them burned out. I contacted the owner to fix it under warranty and at first he refused. He said it was my problem for not having rain gutters. I pushed and he relented. He puts me on a group message with one of his managers who never responds to any of the texts and the owner never responded. Use them at your own risk, there are cheaper and more professional installers out there. read more

We had our alumawood patio done in the summer of 2020 . Yemil is the best . I shopped around for quite a while before I chose him. Of course I had to do my research to learn about this kind of business, so I could know what questions to ask. He answered all my questions very well .They did a wonderful job . It was a clean job, no mess was left after they finished and they made sure to keep my pool clean as well . After 2 years it is still beautiful and sturdy, just like new . We just had our patio cover built and completed this past week by Yemil and The Grand Canyon Patios and WE ARE IN LOVE. We found Yemil after seeing the work he had done in a neighbor's backyard and knew we didn't need to look any further. He was our guy and Yemil did NOT disappoint! We had a 25' by 15' patio cover installed that attaches to the back of our house. We added (6) LED integrated light fixtures and (2) downspouts. I am very picky about color and aesthetics and know exactly what I want and the color combination I selected was not conventional and Yemil was thoughtful throughout the process making sure I was getting exactly what I was asking for while explaining all the options. Yemil is very careful about detail, including being "by the book" when it comes to local building and code requirements. He was careful to get needed permits and made sure we understood the process every step of the way. Grand Canyon Patios did and amazing job on our aluminum patio cover. They were able to get the cover fully completed in under a week including all of the city inspections. I talked to other patio cover contractors and they told me that it would take up to 4 months to complete the job because they were backlogged. We left for vacation the day before the final inspection but they were able to insure that the final inspection took place and they locked up our backyard once it was complete. The cover looks awesome and it keeps the patio and house cooler on hot socal days. They installed all of the LED lights on the posts and the ceiling fan at no cost (I just had to supply the fixtures).
