I have to update my review based on the lack of customer service from Tim, we received when I noticed a problem with the installation, the installers stripped my brand new wood eaves and forgot to add screws to a bracket and a loud noise in one of the gutters after the rain is gone, the noise was soo loud I actually thought it was still raining. We are still waiting on someone to come and resolve the issue. I waited this long to update my review and would've if the customer service was a little better. Found Tim through the local home improvement magazine that was mailed to our house...saw the positive reviews on Yelp and decided to give him a call for a quote..i had also gotten quotes from 2 other vendors prior to my meeting with Tim. Tim was very informative, answered all our questions, and I didn't feel any pressure from him. I got a good vibe from him and we knew we definitely wanted to go with him if we decided to do a patio in our backyard. With a patio, my husband can now bbq in the backyard in rain or shine, morning or night! Our previous house had the old school wooden patios..but those are a pain in the ass since it is more likely to leak after time, have termites, need to be painted, and just really heavy overall. I had done some research before getting a patio at our new place and decided that Alumawood is the way to go. It looks kinda like wood, but without the headaches. It's lightweight, easy to install, no maintenance, less chance of leaks, and no possibility of rotting wood due to leaks. We decided to go with the Corbel design with the dark brown posts and off white roof (Sienna and Sandalwood) and it looks beautiful! He said this color combo is one of the most popular among his clients. He even installed post lights and fans at no extra charge! We just had to go to Lowe's and buy the fans and lights we wanted and they installed them. Both other vendors i got quotes from said fans and lights were an additional few hundred dollars extra if I wanted to add them. The rain gutters on these patios are also very slender and attached along the 2 outer posts..totally inconspicuous and not bulky. Once our concrete was done and ready to go, I gave Tim a call and he came out for a final measurement. He went to the city and applied for our patio permit and we were ready for installation in around 2 weeks. His crew came out Monday at 7:30am and they finished the installation by 6pm that night. The inspector came out to sign off the final product within 1-2 days and we are now ready to enjoy our new patio! Tim, his wife, and crew are all very friendly and they cleaned up the work area and I couldn't have had a better experience. His pricing was definitely reasonable and very competitive with other vendors. He also offers lifetime warranty on his patios.
