Rainbow Nail Salon was referred to me, so I took my granddaughter in for a manicure and pedicure as a birthday gift, hoping it would be a relaxing and positive experience. When we arrived, I noticed they only accept cash. Wanting to be prepared, I politely asked the woman doing the pedicure about the cost so I'd know whether I needed to step out to the bank. Her response caught me off guard; it was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. She also repeatedly tried to upsell additional services such as toe extensions and callus removal. My granddaughter is a child, so those services weren't needed, and I declined more than once. Later, my granddaughter shared that the same woman had been yelling at another customer as well. I understand that everyone can have an off day--we're human. But rudeness and aggressive upselling take away from what should be a calm, respectful environment. Out of all my bad experiences at this salon, today was the final straw. I will no longer support their nail techs. I arrived at 12:00 PM and didn't leave until 4:15 PM--and my nails are still incomplete. I now have to go elsewhere to get them finished. Before starting, I showed Michael exactly what I wanted. He agreed, yet in the end, I received none of the details I requested--no decals, no pearls, no gold accents. I tried to compromise and asked for a simple letter "S," but it came out so poorly that I asked for its removal. Instead of handling my request professionally, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, and attitude. When I tried to discuss adjusting the price since my nails weren't done properly, I couldn't even get a conversation. Yet, I still paid $100 and tipped for my pedicure because I respect paying for labor. However, this experience was beyond frustrating. On top of their poor customer service, this salon is severely understaffed. This issue has been ongoing, making every visit an all-day event. What should be a two-hour trip turns into an exhausting five-hour ordeal. Instead of hiring more employees, they leave customers waiting endlessly and ask them to come back another day (inconsiderate to people's busy schedules). I work too hard for my money to spend it on poor service, long wait times, and unnecessary stress. Nail salons should be a place to unwind, relax, and feel pampered--but that has never been the case here. I've been coming to this salon for over three years, putting up with their terrible service. Almost every visit, I witness another frustrated customer dealing with the same issues. They are ungrateful for their patrons, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. And honestly, it's my own fault for continuing to enable it. I've referred so many people here, yet today's treatment was beyond disappointing--even though it wasn't surprising. I usually keep my nails simple just to avoid their drama, but today, I wanted something special for Valentine's Day, and even that was too much to ask. The only people who have ever been consistently kind and thorough are Tee and the youngest sister--they are the exception, not the rule. Awful Experience - Should've Trusted the Bad Reviews I regret not trusting the negative comments about this nail shop. My first visit was terrible. The technician had a bad attitude and stayed on her phone the whole time only stopping when I said something. She cut my left foot and filed the skin on my right toe. Mimi also applied polish without a base coat, which is careless and unprofessional. I only came because a friend recommended it based on the ratings, but this was a huge letdown. I was told they would do my nails because I was picky. Specifically by both women and The Man as well as Micheal. This nail shop charges estimated $80 per visit for pedicure and nails. I was never rude. My nails were not the best. In addition one, Nail was repaired twice by Micheal. The nail kept coming off. So that means I'm paying five dollars for a nail to be repaired over and over. Now the entire Nail has been removed. Do not go to this nail shop is a reason they have three stars and I'm only giving one because I have to. Their roof is leaking water. The bathroom is not clean. Micheal wants had me waiting a hour and a half and asked me to come to the shop when it opens and had no memory of that. He was yelling and I told him just finished my nail. Got a gel pedicure done today after 9 months without pedicure and let me tell you they went above and beyond. Removed callus, cleaned up my nails really good and gave me a nice leg massage. Would highly recommend this place. Plus relaxing music and massage chairs. Wish I can give them a million stars but it only goes up to 5. read more

First off I didn't even want to come here for my color change because Ivy infected/damaged my nails being way to rough calling me a cry baby because I like my nails soaked off instead of ripped from my nail bed!! Ivy did my full set and you can tell she just wanted to get this over with and get me out of the chair as fast as possible. Halfway through doing my acrylics, she just walks away without letting me know or saying anything to do another girls eyebrow wax who had just got there. After putting the acrylic on my nails, I get ONE clear top coat and that's it and immediately goes on her phone to messages while im waiting for the gel to dry. WARNING!!!! I was welcomed with stares. After realizing I was not going to be greeted I went on to ask if they had time for a pedicure. They informed that they did and it would be a 5 minute wait. I did indeed wait about five minutes to be seated & it seemed like the pedicure itself was faster than the wait time. Firstly, the water was cold and I had to ask for warmer water. She did a super quick cuticle clean up, put excessive amount of oil on legs, didn't clean under toenails or trim the nail on my big toe after telling her it was bothering me, and did a sloppy messy horrible paint job. At checkout, I expressed my concern but they just stared at me so I paid the $18 and come to YELP. This is not the place for Pedicures! All I needed was removal of dip powder with tips. It was about 6:30 and they closed at 7:00pm. Every time I've ever gotten dip powder removal my nails come out healthy underneath. Not this time. You only get good service when you go early in the morning. After 2 they are all tired and in a bad mood and you can tell, especially the older lady.
