It was my first experience here and since this visit I have not been back to another place to do my nails. I could say this was a traumatic experience. I have been going to Todays Nails for more than 10 years, (Geesh I just told my age) anyhoot I love the owner Cathy, she is very sweet and always honest. if your eyebrows are to thin she will tell you to grow them out before you lose them, if your feet looks like they need medical attention she will tell you! If the shop is busy she will inform you that it will be 1-2 hour wait and offer you an appointment to come back later. I always call ahead if i didn't make an appointment. I stopped in for the first time today as a friend recommended the spot and I lived down the street. When I got there I had to wait 10 mins as they were finishing up others. I finally say with Danny and he took his time on my cuticles and shaping my nails. I had a bit of gel Polish on a few nails that he carefully removed. Half way thru I noticed the "Cash only" sign in which he finished the maintenance and instructed me to visit the atm next door. WOST PLACE EVER !!! the guy hurt me so bad I pulled my hand away so fast and when he started again he hurt in the same stop!! He was trying to shape my nail while going into my my skin where my nail was supposed to be ! If I could give a zero I would! The lady that did my pedicure rushed through the entire process. The place was completely empty to begin with so I don't understand why she was rushing through it. And it wasn't even a pedicure, it was more like a polish change. She didn't take the time to cut the cuticles or push them back. My nail polish was sloppy. I had to ask her to clean the polish off my cuticles and she became so annoyed when I did. She didn't want to do it in the beginning so I started doing it myself and then she cleaned the edges. I payed 35 for a gel pedicure with a "spa chair" that was broken down. The place looks run down. I came here once before, long time ago and wasn't completely happy with the end result but I thought I'd give it another shot. WORST 35 bucks I have ever spent! I don't mind paying for a service if it's going to be done right. In a hurry, and was in need of a manicure while in the area. Place was empty on a Friday early afternoon. One of the worse gel manicures I've had, ever. The gentleman, (sits closest to the back) was so quick, and didn't even clean them up upon finishing. Shaping was crooked, sides of my nails are still sore from the way he cut, and filed them. I called ahead and made an appointment and I was glad that I did because when we got there, it was starting to get busy and I actually saw them have to turn people away. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and my mother got a gel manicure. I would say that the work was standard. The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely return. Before the polish on my toes got dry, my daughter stepped on my foot and ruined the paint and the woman that had done them happily fixed it and I was grateful for that.
