I'm obsessed with this place! I have never been one to get my nails done, but I've come here twice in the past 3 months. My most recent set is the most compliments I have ever received on my nails. I came with a few inspo pics of roses, and she knocked it out of the park. I got Gel X for the first time, and she was very great about making sure the shape and the length were what I wanted. I also got a deluxe pedicure which was awesome. The time before, I got a cat eye gel manicure and Daisy was incredible making sure the shine was exactly what I wanted. They lasted long and were the perfect addition to every outfit. It's extremely easy to book online, and the studio is always full but not to the point where it's overwhelming. You can tell all the artists care about the work they're doing and their clients. Can't wait for my next excuse to get my nails done!!
I was recommended this salon by a friend who books exclusively with Spring (the owner). While her work is solid, I don't think she upholds that same standard across the salon or with the employees she hires. Before booking, I sent in the design I wanted and was recommended to book Layla. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with both her work and her attitude during the appointment. I left with long-term damage to my nails from over-drilling (the worst part), along with very unclean line work, polish on my cuticles and skin, thick and uneven coats, and splotchy airbrush work (I was charged $100 + tip for this). She spent 30 minutes trying to find the right colors and ultimately could only get "close enough." I ended up having to compromise on every single color, and the set was starting to look very incohesive. They continued trying to force colors on me for the rest of the design that weren't a good match instead of acknowledging they didn't have the proper ones. At that point, it was clear the design I wanted wasn't happening. I asked if we could remove it and pick something simpler. Her attitude noticeably shifted as she aggressively filed off the previous work and caused SO MUCH damage to my nail beds. My nails are now tender to the touch in some spots and it will take many months to grow out the damage. The simpler design (which they also said was "easy" and they could do) required airbrushing. The machine wasn't working properly and kept coming out splotchy. She repeatedly asked if it was "okay" before finally attempting to fix and clean the machine. When it came to line work, it was also messy and not crisp. I had to point out multiple areas that needed fixing, which is concerning since those are things a nail tech should be able to catch on their own. There was also areas that were bulky from uneven application of polish which she didn't fix and said was "ok after top coat" . Overall, it felt like she was trying to get away with the lowest level of work that a customer will accept. After the appointment I reached out 3 times over the course of a week to the business phone number and received no response. I eventually contacted Spring directly and heard back a few days later. I was offered $20 "as a gesture," which honestly felt insulting given the damage and overall low quality experience. It seems like they knew I wasn't coming back anyway so there was no point in doing the right thing. Only after I declined (as I would prefer to warn people with an honest review) did she offer $50 which is still below even half my total bill. It doesn't feel fair to charge customers for services when the mark was not met for ALL of them (gel manicure, airbrush, and design) let alone additional nail damage. This experience made it clear where Layla and MOI Nail's quality bar is and how little care is put into making things right.
Lisa is AMAZING! Lisa absolutely nailed my Christmas nails and pedicure! Her attention to detail is next-level--the holiday design came out flawless, elegant, and perfectly festive. The colors, the precision, the creativity... everything was on point. The pedicure was so relaxing and thorough--my feet feel brand new. Lisa is professional, gentle, and truly talented. You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in her work. I've gotten nonstop compliments already! If you're looking for beautiful, high-quality nails and a perfect holiday set, Lisa is the one. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Highly, highly recommend!
I love this nail salon!! It's always super clean, and everyone who works there is so sweet and caring. Lisa is my nail tech and she is incredibly talented--her designs always come out amazing. She makes the whole process so fun and collaborative, and she's just the sweetest person. I always leave obsessed with my nails. Highly recommend this place!!
So I'm running another review I was gonna go over there, but what's the reasoning of going back over there when my kids are not gonna come back down to go to this place again so again I'm very disappointed on the way that the technician treated my granddaughter and the way that she did her nails. I would've expected at least a reply back from them of giving me half my money back for at least something I actually spent so much money there and also gave very big tips to six people. It's unfortunate. I thought this place would be great, but after going to Palmdale to look at my granddaughter's nails so I can see them up close and personal, very disappointed. hate to call people out, but I believe it was nancy that did her nails so I wouldn't recommend her.

My set turned out even better than the inspo pic. they even went out and refilled my metered parking without hesitation, which imo is above and beyond service. I'll be back!
Let me very clear -- I'm big on upfront cost / pricing . I booked online a full set L. Says 75 dollars -- I asked if they had XL he said no . Appointment at 1130 got there around 1120 waited no problem . I booked with ray as a recommendation.. he is really quick .. but once done my total was 85 for nails and 30 for the design . Plus 2 dollars to use my card ? Your price is your price but not when you have one price posted , I booked for and I'm charged a whole other . It's over pudding when people are all about money . The replied still don't makes sense because I booked Large 75dollars he said he did not have xl which says 80 dollars so the extra 5 you added was for what ? Ray was excellent and I will be back I just need to ask questions before hand next time I'll do better

I went to moi nail studio for the first time and took my mom we had a good experience! Very talented nail artists, we got exactly what we asked for Quin and Nina were friendly and the set of nails was done in less than an hour. I love how creative the artists are! When I first visited, Ray made beautiful hand-shaped 3D flowers. During this visit, Eric created dainty fruit designs using little stones. I think they might be one of the best nail artists around LA. read more

This was my first time coming to this nail salon and I'm honestly so impressed! The place is super clean, modern, and has such a welcoming vibe. Customer service was amazing from the moment I walked in. They really make you feel comfortable and taken care of. Jenny did my nails and I'm in love with how they turned out! Ya'll I literally drive an hour to get to this nail salon. Before I found this place, I went to the same salon for seven years and after the first time I came here I never went back to where I had been going. I don't care what picture you want what inspiration you have what vision you see bring it to them and they can do it for you I promise you and the best part is it literally does not matter which nail tech that you get. They are all amazing. Like, what salon can you actually say that you're cool to get whoever? This place is the shit. I have been going here for a couple of months now. It was fine until I went last week. 2 of my nails broke within a week. They fixed them and then 2 days later one of them broke again. They then charged me AGAIN after paying $90 originally and tipping well every time. On top of that the nail is totally crooked. Misshapped and points upwards :) I would not recommend this place and you might as well find somewhere else with better quality and pricing. Quality of paint job and just overall is not good as you can see in photos. It's always overcrowded. They are late for your appointment every time. Find somewhere else and don't waste your money. read more

Came here on a Monday around noon and got seen right away. Tom did my gelx nails and Susan did my pedi, highly recommend both! Susan gave a great massage and I really appreciated Tom's attention to detail. This is honestly my go to nail spot. I got the gelx set done recently but the white set you see is also a set they did on me prior. The salon has been recently renovated and i love the ambiance. Breathtaking service. Found this place on Yelp! Mimi is seen doing my pedicure, and Nina did my beautiful cat eye small gel X manicure. I called an hour before and made a same day appointments without an issues. Nina was so wonderful to talk with she has over 25 years of experience and knew exactly what I was hoping to achieve with my shape and size. I always disliked my middle finger (it's so big) but she shaped the Gel-X perfectly to make my giant finger look petite. There was beauty acoustic music playing in the background which was very relaxing. I don't get my nails done frequently but I will be coming back to see Nina and Mimi!! read more

Update: Gel x was not done correctly, nails were not prepped correctly causing mold in gab between gel x nail and natural nail. Poor adhesion=bacterial growth. Added a picture of nail separation and mold line visible through the nail. read more

I've been to this MOI location twice now and each time I lose a nail 1 week or less after getting GelX done. I love the designs they do. Everyone who've done my nails are so sweet and talented, but it feels like the quality of gel is not that strong and they will RUSH your nails so they don't get properly cured. The first time a nail came off, i thought it was me being rough on my nails, but the second time it happened I was really frustrated considering I was paying $75+ on the nails and the second time 2 fell off in a weeks time. They should be able to last 2 weeks at minimum. I don't have this issue with other salons. Not sure if I would come back since longevity is something I look for in a good nail salon, but could be open to another try. Again, it's a shame because I like everything else about the salon but at that point I might as well put press ons on if it only lasts a week read more

absolutely adore my new nails from Quinn! they have so many gems and glitter choices at MOI, i almost didn't know what to pick. Quinn gave me a set that was even better than my inspo (similar vibe, but customized to be more my style) and was so kind. she makes sure your set is perfect and won't let you leave until files or smooths away any imperfections. i've only had my set for few hours and i've gotten so many compliments. also, the salon is so nice post-renovation! definitely my go to studio and nail tech read more

Do you guys to acrylic on all 10 toes and if so how much is it?
Yes, we can do acrylic on all ten toes! Base rate for acrylic is $70.
How much is a regular gel pedicure ? What about a regular acrylic set?
There are 3 pedicure options, I always do the regular option which is $35 + $17 for gel = $52 total. Not sure about acrylic though.
How much is a mani and pedi no color?
Do you do gel manicure with overlay?
How much is a full set? And a pedicure for men?
full is $70 and $50 for menicure and pedicure
