Liz is seriously the BEST! I've been going to her for my waxes and she always makes the whole experience so comfortable and easy. We literally talk about everything personal life, relationships, you name it She always has me cracking up, so half the time I forget I'm even there getting waxed. And have I mentioned she's an Aquarius like me?! So of course the vibes are always there! My eyebrows ALWAYS come out looking BOMB and my kitty kat... well, she loves her bald look LMAO Liz gets her RIGHT every single time! I trust this place so much that it's become a family thing. My daughter sees Nani, and I even started bringing my son to Liz for his eyebrow cleanups. At this point, everybody is getting cleaned up! Liz is super professional, quick, and GOOD at what she does. You're literally in and out before you know it, but somehow we still manage to catch up on our whole lives. If you're looking for someone who makes you feel comfortable, keeps you cracking up, has your brows looking BOMB, and gets you in and out. Book with Liz or Nani! read more

I saw Nani and she was so professional and informative. They say brows are sisters and not twins but mine were long lost relatives before I saw Nani. After the second appointment they started to look symmetrical. I had a wonderful experience and I think they have gained a long time customer. read more

WaxBYLiz is THAT girl. Hands down the best waxing experience I've ever had. From the moment you walk in, it feels clean, elevated, and professional--but still warm and welcoming. Liz is incredibly knowledgeable, fast (in the best way), and makes you feel completely comfortable the entire time. You can tell she truly cares about skin health and precision. My wax was smooth, flawless, and done in half the time I'm used to--without ever feeling rushed. Zero double dipping, top-tier products, and results that last. This is not your average waxing studio... this is a luxury experience. If you're looking for perfect Brazilians, brows that actually frame your face, and an esthetician you can trust with your skin--WaxBYLiz is the only answer. Once you come here, you won't go anywhere else. 10/10. It-girl approved. read more

My first time waxing with Nani.. I felt very comfortable, has a great vibe. I normally get nervous with new people.! But Nani is a very down to earth girl. She took care of every hair. And made sure my legs were good and smooth. Will definitely book again with Nani. read more

This place is the bee's knees, the cat's meow. The aesthetic is on point, like serious bedroom decor goals. I was greeted warmly and felt very welcomed by the receptionist who also had all the answers to my questions. My waxing esthetician was Nani who had me feeling like we were old friends. She did a fantastic and thorough job, even took the tweezers to my hooha for difficult areas! Girl! That was a first! I'm coming back for sure. Thank you girls, for your perfect customer service and perfect service. See you in a few weeks! read more

Booked services for my husband and he loved his experience. He came home telling me how fast and efficient Nani was. I must say she did amazing work! No patchy work, skin is smooth and beautiful. His confidence was through the roof and even though I miss the hair *sad face*, we both love the results! He already booked his next session so needless to say, YOU SHOULD TOO!!! Lol read more

I loved everything about my experience here. Liz did my brazilian so quickly, mind you I had coarse long hair and hadn't had a wax in a long time. She left me SO SMOOTH! Very friendly girls and made me feel like I was already a regular customer and not that "new client" awkwardness. Will be coming back! read more

Service is amazing Liz and her team are extremely nice service is fast they make you feel comfortable and welcome

I had my Brazilian with Nani and she is super professional, welcoming and made me feel comfortable! Getting waxed is always a nerve wrecking experience but every time I come to WaxbyLiz I feel at ease! Nani really takes her time when she waxes and makes sure every hair is gone and that your skin is as smooth as possible! Also, it was pain free thanks to the type of wax and technique that's used! read more

i recently visited WaxbyLiz for the first time, and it was such a great experience! friendly customer service, the space feels very welcoming and safe, & the parking is a breeze! my appointment was with Liz, & she waxed my face & under arms. Came for a Brazilian wax because I've had it done by Liz years ago and it was the least painful and the quickest wax I've ever gotten. Today was no different, Liz is quick and her conversation is always good, wax is over before you know it! Love it here and I do recommend! read more

So....let me just say AMAZING experience. I'm embarrassed to say but I've going to the nail shop to get waxed. Yeah I know, let's not judge. LOL! I found her here on yelp scrolling. Her business Is so cute and CLEAN! She was on time and walked me through my experience. It was painless. She has a new customer. I will be back and recommend to all my family and friends. Liz, thank you for making me comfortable and doing such a good job. If you are looking for a professional vibe with good music and great service...This is where you want to be! My first experience with Liz is amazing. Went for the very first time on 7/2/21 and I received 2 service that were priced fairly. Her bed side manners and professionalism were absolutely A+ and really made my first time experience wonderful. Liz has many years of experience and had clients that are like myself that deals with many skins issues(ingrown hair, acne, bruises and scars) she never made me feel self conscious about my appearance and provided wipes and small toiletries to fresh up before the session. (Very accommodating). To all potential new customers like myself when I went please be on time with your deposit. Waxbyliz only ask a $20 deposit that will be credited towards the service that you received. (A fair deposit request) Bottom line will be a returning customer. read more

I had a full brazilian wax done by Tanesha and it went great! Her customer service was exceptional and her whole vibe was just perfect!! Although waxing is painful in itself, I actually really liked her method. This was the funnest and funniest experience that I had while getting a wax lol. She kept me laughing and my attention off the pain. Make your appointment yall. You won't regret it! read more

AMAZING!!! I have no idea why I still haven't done a review, after years of coming with Liz. Liz is amazing, always makes me feel comfortable, she makes her job look quick and easy! Brazilian wax comes out with great results, after coming from a horrible experience at European wax she made me feel like it could definitely look and feel flawless without any adverse effects. I will always come to her no matter what ! read more

Liz is awesome!! Super friendly and very humble. I've been coming here since March...it is definitely difficult to get appointments with her as much as I'd like( but again I probably don't need to get my brows done every 2 weeks)....So the every 4-6 weeks appointment is working for me. I walked in here with my brows looking a mess and she is doing everything in her power to help me get them to a decent look. I've been using castor oil which she sells for $10 and I apply it every night to assist with hair growth since I have a small patch on my brow that is being stubborn to grow. I definitely recommend for you to try her out. You will not be disappointed read more

I've been a loyal client of Liz's for years she's the absolute best! Her studio is located in Gardena just across from Giuliano's. Parking is never an issue with plenty of street parking. The studio is welcoming, cute and quite clean! There is a bathroom for clients that is stocked with all the essentials. She works by appointment only. Liz has a great personality, is professional and makes me feel comfortable when providing me with any wax service. I get a Brazilian regularly anytime between 3-4 weeks. She makes the process easy going, not painful and quick. I've also had my lower legs and underarms waxed. Uses only hard wax and there is NEVER EVER any double dipping! Once you start waxing you will never go back to shaving. There's just no comparison. When you wax your skin is left feeling smooth longer and your hair starts to grow back slower and less. Her prices are fair. The loyalty stamp card is a bonus! After 8 visits you get a discount off your services for that day. She only uses the best products! Her cleanliness and attention to detail are unmatched. Keep in mind that she works by appointment only and books up quickly. If you cancel your appointment she does her best to accommodate you but has a waitlist of people also seeking appointments. I highly recommend her for all your waxing needs! read more

AMAZING! I had a Brazilian wax some time ago and was afraid of trying it again. In some cases it was a little painful but a friend of mine shared her experience with Liz. My first tine here and I will be returning- great service, good price and lovely rooms. Tanisha was professional and made me feel super comfortable. It was actually fun despite the awkwardness of a Brazilian! She even took my appointment after hours on a Friday- thanks a bunch! read more

By far the best experience Ive had for a Brazilian. Liz made me feel so comfortable and the atmosphere in her salon matches her energy! I love how thoughtful she is, from the essentials in her restroom to how personable she is and so easy to talk to! The best is that I wasn't in as much pain as I am when Ive gotten a soft wax Brazilian!!! I have very sensitive skin and now I know soft wax was the reason I would dread getting a brazilian...look into it ladies..it really is more painful bc it pulls the skin too as opposed to just your hair with the hard wax. The swelling goes away almost immediately and I am not sore!!! I am definitely going back to Liz. read more

Clean facility. Liz is really good with the Brazilian and she uses hard wax. Ive had a lot of experience in this and I think Liz is one of the best ones. The appointment took 5 mins and the job is clean. I would definitely return. read more

It's hard to find an esthetician that truly goes above and beyond to wax your body especially in the vaginal area. I am truly amazed with my Brazilian wax i received today by Liz. It was my first time visiting her shop. Liz truly made me feel entirely comfortable with my body as she engaged with me throughout the whole entire process. I liked the cleanliness which it's very important when getting waxed. It's recommended to use the restroom to refresh yourself before getting waxed is very important particularly to respect the esthetician which it's necessary. I look forward returning. read more

Liz is A M A Z I N G. She is very efficient time wise and very talented from over the years she's been in the business. Very professional. She will make you feel extremely comfortable especially for those first timers. Usually she does my Brazilian wax but is also helping rehabilitate my botched brow. You won't be disappointed with your service! read more

So I found this place because of Yelp, and omg Liz did not disappoint! Initially I was looking for a back up because I have my go-to place (in Whittier) but honestly this place is like 10min away from where I live and the service is phenomenal so I'm switching. Upon arrival my first impression is wow is clean and homey. The front desk girl was very friendly and professional. Liz made me feel comfortable and we nonchalantly started conversing which obviously distracted me from the actual waxing. It felt like a 10min thing and she is super sweet honestly she made me feel like we had known each other for years and that right there is BROWNIE POINTS especially when you are getting a Brazilian. read more

Loved the service! People were nice and I wasn't disappointed. Worth the money and very professional and cute shop, thank you!
