Extremely disappointed with my experience today. I've been going to this location for years and never had an issue until now but today was absolutely unacceptable. I originally made an appointment for 4:45 PM on Monday, June 23rd (2025), only to show up and find the doors completely closed and no one around. No calls, no signs, nothing. So I rescheduled for 6:00 PM, hoping things would be different. I ended up arriving 6 minutes late, which I understand is on me, and they skipped me. Fair enough I was okay with waiting since waxing usually takes no more than 15-20 minutes. But I waited a full 40 minutes, and the same wax specialist who skipped me was still with the customer who was originally supposed to be behind me. Seriously? To make things worse, the woman at the front desk didn't offer any apology for the ridiculous delay or for wasting my time. I didn't catch her name, but the whole interaction felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. I don't know what happened today maybe it was just poor staffing or someone having a bad day but the way I was treated was completely out of line. After years of being a loyal client, I honestly don't see myself coming back to this location again. read more

Great experience at this location! The front desk hostess Angel was professional and welcoming. I felt very safe coming into the center. They have your temperature checked and ask general questions about your health to ensure you are not having COVID-19 symptoms. All employees are wearing masks and the center is really clean. I had my appointment at 12:15pm. I checked in a few minutes early and was seen fairly quickly. The rooms are very clean. My waxer Meliza was really nice and her calm energy made me comfortable. She made sure I was good, and walked me through each step. I am always appreciative of quality service, and I definitely received that here. Jamie changed my whoooole perspective on waxing lol she's great amaaazing I don't trust anyone else but her now to do the job. Today was my second time coming in around 5:38 my appointment was at 5:45 the door was locked I knocked 2 times as I can see the front desk girl & a service provider as she came to the door she just put up a sign saying "we are going to be closed for the past hour" & walked away. Me also being a esthetician & service provider I thought it was rude that she did not open the door & just tell me personally being in that position I would've just open the door asked if a appointment was set up & what time she would've told me they are opening before my appointment instead of me thinking I would have to wait a whole hour I walked back to my car across the street I can see them as I was going to leave open the door but I told myself I am not going to walk back while there are better places to go that would have that communication once again me being a service provider I would've opened door & provided that communication read more

Whatever you do, DON'T book Brianne. I had came in today for an appointment and as I walked into the store Brianne was making very transphobic remarks and unfortunately she ended up being my specialist. As I walked into the room with her, everything was okay but I did feel slightly uncomfortable but brushed it off. She then started talking about the olympics and stated that "transgender women should not be participating in them against cis women" and tried to get me to agree with her and was very pushy about it. when i did state my opinion she became upset and called me delusional and i let her know that everybody has their own beliefs and opinions. i am part of the LBGTQ+ community and i have a transgender sister so this really made me feel discriminated against. Also, i let her know that she made me uncomfortable and that made her upset and i asked for a different specialist. Overall, it was a very traumatic experience and that specialist should not be working there as she lacks professionalism and is ignorant. Also, I would give one star, however the other staff were very understanding and the manager was very helpful. read more

I went to their Carson location for the first time yesterday and am extremely pleased with every bit of my experience there--from scheduling, to receiving my Brazilian wax. The women working the front desk were so sweet, down-to-earth & welcoming (I've unfortunately encountered a few snobs at other locations). Mileza did my Brazilian wax (so sorry if i butchered the spelling of her name), and she was AMAZING! I told her I'm a coward about waxing and she calmed my irrational butt down. She was FAST yet thorough, which i appreciate; she got my wax done efficiently so I could just get it over with. I was there for less than half an hour, they charged $62 (i think?) for the wax, I tipped her $18, and i was on my way. Not very happy with this location right now. I called to move up my appointment because I had a last minute schedule change. I was very clear that I had limited time. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early and was told the person scheduled before me was already late but they wouldn't take me first. Instead they made me wait because their other customers time was apparently more important than mine, even though I was early for my appointment and she was late. I could have been in and out by the time this person even bothered to show up for their appointment. I have been a customer here for years and they have always respected my time until today. I don't think I will be renewing my wax pass if this is how they do business. Fun fact, I started this review with a 3 star rating and removed a star for every 5 minutes they made me wait. If possible they would be at -1 stars right now. Still waiting. We would now be at -2 stars. This place has wasted 25 minutes of my time after I was very clear with them that I had a time constraint. I've been to this location 3 times now. I got 2 Brazilian waxes from Tiara. However, she tended to be too quick and did not hold my skin down during the wax, which made it very painful. I also had patches of missed areas, which was very frustrating. During my first 2 visits, the front desk receptionists were not attentive and were on their cell phones. They did not greet me or offer me help when I walked in. Today, I got a Brazilian wax by British. I highly recommend getting a Brazilian wax from British. She was extremely professional and took her time. She helped take care of an in-grown and tweezed loose hairs. It was the most painless Brazilian wax I've ever had. The front desk receptionists were more attentive today and addressed me. However, they did not have change for a $20 to leave a tip for my waxer. I did not give 5 stars because of my bad experiences with my first 2 visits. I recommend that the front desk receptionists be attentive to their costumers every time. They use hard wax which is sooo much better than soft and even sugaring. It's less painful and faster. You definitely want to set an appointment if you are getting more than one body part done. The person who did my bikini was excellent and that made me sign up for a plan so I could keep going. The person who did my legs was not on the same level as the other person.
