Joan was very kind, but throughout my facial she didn't let me relax, she kept talking and she asked me what I did for work which I thought was irrelevant. When I told her I was a welder at a rocket company, she asked if my business/comp works in that company. I'm assuming she thought I made a lot of money, which I don't. And little did she know I'm actually an esthetician myself. Normally you do a consultation and look at my skin. I wrote on paper that my face was dry, flaky, and I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Typically you look through a bright light and feel around my face and throughly check to see what type of skin I have. Joan did not do that. Throughout my facial. She didn't explain what product she's using on my face or asked if I preferred a certain mask. After exfoliation with picking out my comodones on my nose and face she used microdermabrasion which was really dry. There was no hydration or liquid, so while performing microdermabrasion on my skin, I just felt air sucking on my face and I told her my face was dry, but she continued talking about her life tips. The facial took 45 minutes all together. Then when I was getting ready to pay I asked her which facial was performed, she charged me the expensive microdermabrasion which was $125! I was surprised that it cost that much. Then she told me credit card would be 3% charge! I couldn't believe how much I was being charged so I questioned her about the mask, because I didn't feel like she applied the mask , but she said it was a leave in mask. Joan was nice but I wish she would've explained the product more, talked about my skincare instead of giving me life tips, and not assume I had money to spend a facial that should've cost $75. Overall I gave her a nice tip because as an esthetician myself I know what it feels like to work on tips. I honestly had a more professional facial at massage envy or even at Paul Mitchell. Esp with that price I wouldn't go here. read more

Hands down the best facial I've ever had! My face felt so deeply clean and glowy afterward. I was honestly nervous at first, thinking it might hurt , but Joan has the lightest, most gentle touch. I want to start off by saying my esthetician was Joan and she made my experience wonderful! I had the day off and randomly decided to look for a place to get my first facial! I called to see if they could squeeze me in and I was lucky Joan could accommodate me. I choose the PG Ultimate Facial, and once I got settled in Joan made sure I was comfortable and checked in consistently to make sure nothing was hurting during the extraction. I saw the things the things she extracted, it was satisfying but also kinda gross. Everything after that so good and was so relaxing. She was a great person to hold a conversation with while she was doing the whole process. I was so thankful for her recommendations on what I can do to level my skin. My favorite part was the exfoliating process! I've never had someone exfoliate my face and it felt so good! The rooms ambiance was so calming, and clean. I purchased a Groupon. Booking my initial appointment was rather easy. They were friendly and curious. Upon my first visit, I overheard the owner mention to another patron that she preferred it when you scheduled via text, so I took note of that. The esthetician provided was nice and seemed knowledgeable, however, the owner interrupted my session because another client needed something. While I was getting ready to leave the owner was expressing some microaggressions towards me, and I couldn't help but feel unwanted because I am a person of color so much so that I complained to Groupon. To my chagrin, Groupon didn't take my concern seriously and said there was nothing they could do. I attempted to schedule an appointment by calling and texting and they went unanswered. I have to text several times to receive a response. I eventually was able to schedule a second appointment. I went a second time with a friend thinking I could use my two pending sessions and be done, however, I was told my friend needed to buy her own Groupon. We both liked our facials but that yukiness is still there. I have one pending appointment but I don't have the energy to be treated like they don't want me there because of the color of my skin. They made comments that I was the one who complained to Groupon (I understand Korean). I feel rather sad because I had hoped to find a place near my home and was excited about supporting a woman-owned business. read more

My face wasn't at its best so I was scrambling around for places to get a facial before my cruise. Positive: Cheryl is very friendly and courteous. She did a good job getting all the blackheads. Negative: She wore latex gloves during the facial. Had many facials before never once had anyone wear gloves during the facial. I could smell the latex smell of the gloves the whole entire time. I got a clarifying facial yesterday and had plenty of blackheads and pimples that didn't have a head on them and were basically "blind". Not only did Cheryl extract literally every blackhead, she also was able to extract my cystic pimples and did it gently. In my past experience at other salons, the esthetician rushed through my facial because she wasn't willing to sacrifice her time. Not Cheryl. Cheryl takes her time and is so thorough to the point where you shouldn't even think twice about booking her. She is my go-to lady and always does an amazing job of making my face glow back up! Found this place on yelp and I must say I am a new fan!! Absolutely loved the experience and have zero complaints! I was about ten minutes late since my sitter did not make it on time and Joanne still took me in and did not seem bothered in the least! Not only that but she was wonderful about my having to bring my 2yr old who was a complete chatterbox (sorry!) that day. I got the PG diamond peel and the experience was very relaxing (other than my talkative toddler) there was soothing music playing in the background, GREAT aromatherapy type smell all over the place and of course Joanne was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable through out the entire time. As far as the effectiveness of the peels, I need to go back for more to really be able to tell and I can't wait to do it! This time I will be leaving child at home no doubt! read more
