She was so sweet and gave insight on their various personalities. We learned that they work with Angels to the Animals as well. The cat room is intimate but spacious enough for a few different groups. They have tons of toys, enrichment items, even a kitty tv. We ordered coffee which she delivered right to us. They have lots of flavor options. I got a white mocha, yum! We ended up putting in an adoption application for a kitten, and got the call within a week that he was ready to bring home! Leslie, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He's an absolute doll and we couldn't be happier! Definitely recommend this cafe for a fun weekend activity... though you may end up with a cat even after one visit!

I still can't believe how wonderful my breakfast experience was! Pop's Cafe is unassuming and tucked away in a small strip mall in a neighborhood off a busy street. Despite my nervousness over trying something new (especially with liver in the name), the waitress was immediately welcoming and comforting saying I could sit anywhere. She was very attentive and when I ordered grits, she asked if I wanted cheese with it and suggested getting in with a slice of American. The food came out quickly. I'd ordered the Porky's Platter and should've gotten the hint, it was enormous! The livermush was pretty good! It had a texture somewhere between spam and vienna sausage, but was fried crisp making it difficult to stop eating. The grits (with American cheese) were really yummy and the sausage biscuits were some of the best! I had to get a to-go box as the livermush was super rich and the servings were so large. For the past 6 months have been researching donut shops in the GREATER Charlotte area since we aren't able to get up to Burlington this time. All of my sources have told me - try Momo Donuts - they are incredible. So, that is exactly what we do. From the moment we walked in the door at Momo Donut, we felt at home. Like a warm hug after a long journey. My brother's ears perk up, nose twitches, he looks at me and instantly says "This is NC JELLY DONUTS"!!! I explain to him that... no, this is Momo donuts and is different. When we go to pay for our donuts we mention about our addiction to NC Jelly Donut and ask if they have ever heard of them. That is when the owner bursts into a smile and says "Oh yes, that is my sister!!!" - WHAT A SMALL WORLD! I am happy to share that the addiction has resumed and we are so grateful that Momo donut is now just a short car ride away. A sense of peace and order has returned to the balance of our lives. So, I apologize that there are no photos - the donuts were consumed too quickly to snap a picture. But don't worry - I will visiting again soon! So grateful for this family and their commitment to bringing joy through their baked goods. What a small word that we they have become so vital in our families life.
