This place has grown since the last time I've been here and it is so beautiful lots of selfie and photo op opportunities! We got boba milk and Thai teas and two donuts for our morning mommy date breakfast. As usual the donuts are delicious and the milk teas were made perfectly!

Get the red velvet donuts and blueberry glazed you won't be disappointed. Small location offering to go items only. Beat my expectations.

An odd little donut shop with a unique offering. The food was good. The donuts were donuts. Nothing mind blowing, but they were good.

Oh. My. God. That's what me and my friend said repeatedly after dining at The Garden Cafe…read morerecently. She was visiting from Maryland and wanted a real southern meal. I have never been but it was suggested to me to take her here. Upon arriving we parked in the large gravel parking lot. There was a beautiful rustic garden area with lots of seating, a fountain with live turtles and hanging lights making this spot a great place to hang out with a drink on a pleasant night. The front of the cafe has lots of amazing items like handmade soaps, honey, syrups, sauces, kitchen utensils and other merchandise. It was fun to look around as we waited for our reservation time to come. Escorted to our table we passed by a bar area that would be nice if you were waiting for your table and could have a drink. The main dining area held a lot of booths with some tables in the middle of the room. I think the booths gave you a certain amount of privacy and also keep the volume low so it was easy to converse with your company. Also on our table I noticed a tag with my name, reservation time and how many was expected. It was held in place with an old style clothes pin. Very cute touch and nice to see how organized they were. Our server was very attentive and answered all our questions about the items we were interested in ordering. We both ordered sweet tea with our meal and they came in what I have to believe were old fashioned jelly or jam jars! It was so appropriate! Also I barely could get my tea down a quarter of the way before she showed back up and topped off our drinks! The tea tasted like it had been sitting on the back porch all day soaking up the sun. It was just the right amount of sweet too! After we ordered we quickly got a basket of warm rolls and butter and a side salad. The salad was very bright and looked fresh and was served with dressing on the side which my friend liked. She ordered the Jereline's Chicken. It was two breaded chicken breasts, served w/ pepper gravy over mashed potatoes. I had a taste of the chicken and the breading was light and seasoned lovely and it was very juicy. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken sandwich, which was fried pecan breaded chicken, lettuce, bacon, red onion on a crusty hoagie roll minus the honey Dijon. My side of fries came in what I would call a strawberry pint container. Too cute! The fries were hot and crispy! The nutty flavor of the pecans with the smokey flavor from the bacon made this sandwich a real winner! Even though the dinners filled us up there was no way we could pass up dessert. Be aware their menu does change as I was looking forward to the creme brulee but was absolutely not missing it after ordering their bourbon pecan pie. It came warm, the crust was flaky and the fresh whip cream really added to the whole bite. My friend was deeply satisfied that she got her southern meal and I couldn't stop saying "oh my god" all the way home. It was just an overall very enjoyable experience.

My first meal there was shrimp & grits, which was great - very flavorful and salty. Another time, I had the salmon with creamy grits. The salmon was firm (overcooked), but the flavor was good. The grits were 10/10. My family had burgers, fried mushrooms, and filet mignon, all of which they said were good. The service is friendly and attentive. I have never had an anything less than a pleasant interaction with any of the staff. Be sure to plan ahead with a reservation. Ours took 2 weeks to get!

I placed a…read moreto-go order for the first time, and the young lady who took my order over the phone was completely rude. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe it was just a busy Friday. However, when I came in, the place was practically empty, and her attitude was the same still rude and dismissive. I didn't catch her name, but she had brown hair clipped up with a claw and was wearing camo Crocs. If this is the kind of service I'll be receiving moving forward, I'll have no problem discontinuing my recommendations for this place and taking my business elsewhere. Ordered my usual Italian meatball sub and it was good per usual so just a bad seed it seems.

I would say, with a couple of small improvements, this could be a pretty good place…read more First off. Calling yourself an Italian Restaurant is a very big misleading statement. I would say you are a mid-size town café. I come to this conclusion because you don't get some very basic culinary fundamentals to call it an Italian Restaurant. Pre-cooking pasta is okay if you do it properly. Biggest point: there was no salt in the water while cooking the pasta. This is a must to add flavor; otherwise, it is very bland and tastes overcooked. Batch cooking pasta is done at 65% cooked, proportioned, and refrigerated. Then, when a customer orders it, you drop it into "Salted Boiling Water" to finish cooking it. Next, you can use frozen meatballs as long as you put them in spaghetti sauce at least 12 hours beforehand, so they don't have a frozen meat taste. Follow these suggestions, and it will quickly become a number-one seller as long as it stays reasonably priced. Last point: clean up the flea-market look in your dining room. There has to be a better layout that doesn't have a huge tub of Lance Crackers as your first impression. The help was friendly. The Food was hot.

It's not a lot of space so only a few tables can accommodate more than four people. For the menu, here are daily specials and most items can be in a combo. Also, there are kids meals and my daughter actually eats her Mac and cheese here so kid approved.Think burgers, hot sandwiches and fried shrimp for the menu. There are a few healthier options like salad, grilled chicken sandwich or grilled tenders. My first visit I ordered a shrimp po boy and tots. It was so full of shrimp they kept falling off but were light and crispy on a soft bread. Tots were a little greasy for me. But on another visit I got the sweet potato fries without cinnamon sugar and that's probably my favorite side. My husband has enjoyed his burger there as well. I didn't try the ice cream but my daughter did and she enjoyed it. It's a nice family friendly option and we'll add it to our rotation.
