Their glazed donuts and mini donuts taste like Krispy Kreme. No lie. The batter is extremely soft and airy, eating it was delicious. Other regular donut stands are too bread or doughy. So 5/5 stars for their donuts. I also had their chocolate bar donut and other donuts which was more on the breadier side. TRY THE GLAZED DONUTS they're amazing. I called this place at 5am on a Saturday morning. They answered! And we're very friendly. I ordered some fun cereal themed donuts for my sons baseball game that was scheduled for 8am. They said I could pick up at 7:15. Talk about fresh. When I arrived I was greeted by the very nice workers, she even gave me a free donut to try, it was an orange flavored one and wow it was good. I also snagged myself the maple bacon bar and I'm drooling just thinking about it. Can't wait to try them again. Minus 1 star, only because some of the cereal was a bit stale. This place is like the "Cheers" of donut joints. Staff take the time to remember your name and they always serve you with a smile. I give props to places like this that are open 24/7. I am sure the staff work long hours but the donuts and everything they have are consistently fresh. My coworkers and I frequent this place and often, and usually get one of their blended mocha drinks that hit the spot on a warm/hot day. One of the staff or owners, Ling knows that my coworker is lactose intolerant so we never have to remind her to use dairy free creamer in her blended mocha, sans whipped cream. Me on the other hand, I go all the way with the dairy. I am a glutton when it comes to sweets, I can't go low fat. Hence, I have a nice little (maybe more medium sized) muffin top over my slacks to show for it =X. The have the normal donut selection you would expect including donut holes, fritters, glazed, etc. I heart the chocolate cream filled donut (the filling is not overly sweet), their regular glazed, and the fritters. I really enjoy their "croissant bites" which are great when you want something savory but don't want to eat a whole croissant. Their blueberry cake donuts are great too. Midnight blueberry donut overload! Having found a Rainbow donut location in Cerritos, I was delighted to find another one closer to home. Came in around midnight and tried: *Blueberry donut w/ glaze - Yummy as always. Tons of blueberry flavor with every bite. *Blueberry donut w/o glaze - Good! The outside was lightly crispy and the inside soft and cakey. Might actually prefer the unglazed version a bit more because it has less sugar, but I'm just fooling myself into thinking it's healthier. =P *Regular donut w/ blueberry frosting - Very mediocre and meh. Tasted like a donut with sugar frosting. Couldn't taste the blueberry at all. I wouldn't get again. We ended up getting a dozen donuts for $8. They even threw in a free donut. This location is ok. I was looking at some of the other donuts and they didn't seem too fresh. As for the service, I want to mention that the older Cambodian lady that works there at night is rude and unfriendly. We had a nice guy helping us at first and then she took over and her vibe was very unfriendly. She said a rude remark while we ordered and she turned her back on us right after we paid, while we were saying "thank you" and then totally ignored us and started chatting on her bluetooth again. Just visited this place today (8/14/14 midnight) and was told by the same lady (refer to my last review and attached photo) to hurry up with my decision because she has "a lot of stuff to do." What... Mind you, it's midnight, and the shop was empty. Definitely disappointed because their donuts are probably the best ones around this area yet they just lost a customer because of that lady's attitude. I was hoping that I found a gem near work. Maybe my expectations were too high from reading all the stellar reviews, who knows. The donuts were mediocre at best. Nothing fancy, the texture of some of the donuts was slightly undercooked, and the jelly donut left a sour taste in my mouth. I am completed bias to their Blueberry donut! This has seriously become an obsession when a donut is needed! It reminds me of the delicious blueberry donuts you can find on the east coast. While vacationing in Maine a few years back I became fond of blueberry donuts and this is the BEST spot for one! Now that being said, I'm sure their other donuts are good, but I've never had anything but the blueberry. A co-worker stumbled in one morning and half way to work he drove back to get another 2 (a second one for him to enjoy and one for me to try). Since then it's become our sweet treat on crappy days. Just enough sugary goodness to push you through the day, fresh blueberry taste to make you forget your not eating a donut and enough of a perfectly baked donut with a crunchy shell to make you crave another!
