Fried Calamari ($13)
Ashley K.

Had the opportunity to try Raik after 10+ years in their new location. FOOD: Filet Mignon Kabob ($36) - Wish they had asked for the meat temp, I didn't enjoy the medium well temp and wished it came with a sauce so it didn't feel a little dry. Despite that, the meat was tender and tasted decent. The mujadara side was delicious and super flavorful! Fried Calamari ($13) - The calamari was a good portion, crispy, leering a little bit on the oily side, but tasty. The tangy, creamy, and fresh dill sauce cut the oiliness so it was a great pairing. OVERALL: Love the location and love the interior. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. It's a steep price point but the food quality and taste don't match the standard compared to other places.

Quickly filled up for lunch but not too busy. Just busy enough that it was so loud that our waiter couldn't hear very well and served my lunch bowl with "lettuce" instead of "lentils". Oh well. Food was pretty good. Would like to try the pita bread next time. Raik means "calm" our waiter told us which is a great vibe.

Amazing food in a lovely setting near downtown Suwanee. We arrived a little later than expected so I felt a bit rushed but everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. We got the hummus and pita. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best hummus I've ever had. And I don't particularly like hummus! We also got the fattoush salad and the lamb skewers. The portions are generous so we had leftovers as well. There are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in the Atlanta area but this is definitely one of my favorites. It's worth the drive.

Love that we found this spot. Service was friendly. Food was perfection. Drinks were good. It's not a huge restaurant but it's big enough and can be considered casual or romantic. The dessert was a big surprise. I never would have thought cheese would go with syrup and ice cream! It was yummy! The mixture of all of those items together kept it on the sweet side. I'll definitely be back.

This was our first visit and it did not disappoint! The space is beautiful and very clean. Our server, Johanna, provided excellent customer service. We ordered from the lunch menu and tried the majadera and chicken bowls - both were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with the perfect portion of chicken. Will definitely be back to try more!

I spent 1.5 hrs in rush hour traffic to get to Raik and it was sooo worth it! The staff was super welcoming and there is free and ample parking nearby, which is always superb. I ordered the blueberry lemonade, which was refreshing. My friends and I then started off our meal with the eggplant baladi and Palestinian Mhammar flatbread, which were both so flavorful and delicious. I ended up getting the chicken kabob with za'atar fries as my entree. Both were wonderful, of course, but I especially loved how tender the chicken. For dessert, we split the knafeh, of course, which was among the best knafeh I have ever had. Overall, I loved my experience at Raik and cannot wait to visit again!

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible, and I will definitely stop by here again for lunch, or dinner!

Came here for lunch with a friend while I was in town. This was a really nice Mediterranean place with great ambiance. There were lots of vegetarian and halal options. The food was very fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed this place for lunch.

Raik restaurant is such a good option for Mediterranean food. Their menu is extensive and has something good for everyone. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and the ambience is quite lovely. The seating is very nice and comfortable. The service I would say is bit on the slower side but overall the food is the main attraction of this place. If I was talking to management I would tell them to get their servers to pay attention and make sure that their tables are taken care of. We started our meal with baba ganoush dip and fluffy pita bread. Their bread was nice and piping hot. Then we had their beef flatbread which tasted amazing. For my entree I had chicken kabobs with lentil and bulgar mix. My entree was great. Lastly in desserts we tried the chocolate cake with kunafe layers and that was pretty good as well. I will definitely will be going back and trying more food choices. I really enjoyed the food quality of this place.

This was a great experience. The space is bright and beautiful. They have live music on Fridays. We couldn't snag a last minute reservation so we chose to sit at the bar. Our service was excellent. I tried one of their winter cocktails, the sugar cookie espresso martini. It was delicious. We started off with the baba ganoush. The pita that comes with it is so light fluffy. It's one of the best I've had. I got the chicken kebab which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Hubby got the lamb, and it was a huge portion. He liked it a lot. I like the offer the lentil side instead of just rice. We can't wait to be back.

Went on a Friday night and enjoyed the atmosphere--nicely decorated interior with live music. We ordered the fried calamari, fried cauliflower, salmon kabob, and filet mignon kabob. The filet mignon was tender and super tasty, definitely the star for me. Our server was friendly and attentive. The calamari portion was small for the price and the pieces were cut a bit too tiny, and cocktail menu could use more variety. It was the main reason I'm taking a star off. Overall, good vibes and food, I'll be back!

Happy Hour Menu

Love the atmosphere! The happy hour is fun (bar only), Melissa was our bartender! She made the best drink (Detox Please), it was smooth, refreshing in 3 different ways and it had great eye appeal! Food was delicious, the dressings were fabulous- but Detox Please, I've told about to more people than I know!

You knew this place had the right atmosphere because of the parties who were just standing around and talking right outside the restaurant. Every course we had was impeccable. This ranks with some of the best Mediterranean food we have ever had. And our server was fast, friendly and made great recommendations. Another plus was outlet next to the table so that you can charge your phone or get some work done while you dine. But the atmosphere lends itself to a more romantic setting with a nice bar, soft lighting and nice, decorative touches.

We ordered the bacon biscuit with grits and the avocado toast, and everything was absolutely delicious. The grits were the standout item for me. We learned they are made with locally sourced grits from a North Georgia mill, and the cheese combination created an incredibly creamy texture and rich flavor. The coffee was excellent as well and was served in a large mug that we really appreciated. We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. Great food, excellent coffee, and a strong commitment to local sourcing make this a place worth visiting. We'll be back! BAM!

I grab a cocktail at the bar first and I love the craft cocktails here. They are all so unique and thoughtful. I loved watching the bartender make my gin drink (his recommendation). It was citrusy and perfect for this warm night. They have started a tasting menu since I was here last and not everyone in the party needs to order from it. They also have a limited menu with app, entree and one desert option. You can also order a la carte off the tasting menu. Hubs got the ribeye (7oz) and I got the bucatini. The ribeye was a nice size and cooked perfectly. The caramel fish sauce was a perfect pairing of subtle sweetness and savory. I also love the shishito peppers! The bucatini was creamy and the crab meat was lump and juicy, however, most of it was on the bottom of the dish. The frites are extra crispy and seasoned perfectly. I also love the aioli (almost like a yum yum sauce). The Brussels salad was nice too. Just the perfect amount of dressing and nice crunch. Overall, I'm impressed with the portion and taste of everything. It was a lovely dinner. Just a note- they don't do split checks per se. You can split up to 3cc, but not great for a large party like ours. And only one person ordered the tasting menu and it took a while for them to bring the dishes out since it comes one by one. They have half off glass of wine on Sunday and a nice patio with big screen TV. I would love to come back and enjoy the lovely fall weather. Thank you for making our dinner a special one!

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

They ended up serving us Rib Roast and the waiter came out as they served it to us and said "oh my manager said they changed the cut"....those are two different types of meat/steak and it would have been nice to have the option to change my meal because really, the rib roast was not good at all. It had no flavor to it and it carried a lot of liquid to it that all the liquid fell to the bottom of the bowl and mushed up the potatoes. My sister got the chicken and waffles, and she said that the chicken was tough and seemed to be overcooked.

We came with a party of six to celebrate my Mimi's birthday, and everything from the food to the service was amazing. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and upscale without ever feeling stuffy. It has that classic steakhouse feel that makes it perfect for a birthday dinner, date night, or any special occasion. We started with the oysters and calamari, and both were fantastic. I ordered the Center Cut Filet Oscar style, and it was cooked perfectly. For the table, we shared the onion rings, corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes are easily my favorite side here. I'm obsessed and could probably eat an entire family size serving by myself. I also tried some of my dad's lobster bisque, which was so good that it has officially made my list of things I need to order for myself next time. My sister ordered the Dover sole, and after trying some of hers for the first time, I'm now debating getting that on my next visit too. Everything was delicious, and the portions at Frankie's are always incredibly generous. You definitely won't leave hungry! My espresso martinis were also amazing. I'm pretty particular about how I like them, and they made them exactly how I wanted, which I really appreciated. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out their famously gigantic slice of cake for the table. There was more than enough for all six of us to share, and I even took some home for my fiancé. They also sent us home with their complimentary muffins for breakfast the next morning, which is such a fun touch and something I always look forward to because they are delicious. We had two servers taking care of our table, and both were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. They truly made us feel like family and made my Mimi's birthday dinner feel special. Frankie's continues to be one of those places we can count on for incredible food, amazing cocktails, generous portions, beautiful ambiance, and top tier service. There's a reason it remains one of my favorites, and we'll happily keep coming back!

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.

Overall, the ambiance was inviting and well done. The garlic rolls were absolutely fantastic! They were buttery, flavorful, and paired with an amazing sauce. We enjoyed them so much that we went through three trays. The chicken francese was another highlight, featuring a delicious lemon flavor, a generous portion size, and a flavorful sauce that wasn't too heavy. This dish was definitely the standout of the meal. The service was okay overall. The staff was attentive initially, but that attentiveness seemed to fade once the food arrived. I was told that the restaurant was a family restaurant, but beyond that, there weren't any recommendations or suggestions about what to order. A little more guidance and consistent attention throughout the meal would have made the experience better. Unfortunately, the limoncello spritz was very disappointing. After taking just one sip, I had no desire to drink any more. It was overly sweet, had an artificial lemon flavor, and tasted watered down. The penne alla vodka was also a letdown. The sauce had an unusual, lumpy consistency that wasn't due to mushrooms, along with an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, the flavor and texture just didn't seem right. While the atmosphere was lovely and the garlic rolls and chicken francese were excellent, the disappointing mocktaill and penne alla vodka, along with the just-okay service, took away from the overall dining experience. There were definitely some highlights, but the inconsistency in the food and drinks left me with mixed feelings about the restaurant.
