I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

They know their menus and are always on top of everything. Kept us informed of our food arrival and etc.., made fabulous wine recommendations even offering a small taste before we decided. The food was not impressive. While the portions were great for tapas style dining, the taste was just not there. The UWT salad was just ok, the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was almost uneditable, the Korean Shortribs were not any better. The flatbread was swimming in buffalo sauce and blue cheese. The Korean Short Ribs were literally pot roast with sesame seeds and green onions served a top a serving of dry potatoes. We enjoyed the ambience and the wine but would not go back due to the food. Admittedly we are foodies and this establishment did not meet our expectations. Really not trying to be a negative Nancy but this was not to our liking.

My husband didn't tell them it's our anniversary until we arrived and they set up a cute anniversary table super quick!!! They placed a card with the staff's signatures on it. Our serve Leon was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was super fancy but still yet very laid back. The food... THE FOOD!!! Ugh!! Was amazing. Everything we had, had wonderful flavors and it all paired so well. From the tender bone in ribeye with bacon cowboy butter to the saucy lobster Mac and cheese to the creamy lobster bisque with lobster bits. Everything was top tier. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary and muffins to go! They didn't let us pack anything, they packed it and gave you a signature Frankie's tote. This place gives you that same feeling as if your parents read you a bedtime story, tucked you in, gave you a kiss on your forehead and sent you to a sweet sleep! LOL! I miss you already frankyyyyy!

My husband originally wanted to head down to Buckhead, because apparently that's where "the vibe"…read morelives. But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one. Half of our bodies were enjoying ambient romance lighting. The other half was being interrogated by a solar laser beam. My pasty white legs were one direct ray away from combusting like Louis in Interview with a Vampire. I considered rotating every five minutes like a rotisserie chicken. Minor sun-induced trauma aside, this place is a solid five stars. Gorgeous interior. Live music. Fast, phenomenal food. Amazing staff. And the satisfaction of proving Buckhead is not the only place that can deliver a whole vibe. Pro tip: request a table out of the direct path of the sun unless you're actively trying to pregame summer.

We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for appetizers and we were asked if we wanted the free garlic knots (BIG MISTAKE) The calamari were good especially because my husband and son prefer the rings and the whole plate were rings. My mother had never had them before (we didn't tell her what they were) and she also thoroughly enjoyed them. The bruschetta was ok; it was very different than I'm used to because it had tiny mozzarella balls in it, which were nice, but seriously lacked garlic and the tomatoes were blah. The thing I like about the most were the slices of bread around the bruschetta because they were soft and crunchy in all the right places. Those garlic knots on the other hand are trouble ...the dough was so fresh and had so much flavor, I ate 2 of them and couldn't really eat my entree, but they were incredibly worth every bite! For our entrees I ordered penne alla vodka (I wish the made it with rigatoni. I thought it was ok. It seems too thick and not as good as I've had elsewhere, but maybe I was too full already because my husband thought it was very good. My husband had eggplant Parmesan which was a very nice portion and cooked perfectly. My mother had a cheese calzone which was probably the biggest and nicest cook on one I've ever seen and she really enjoyed it. My son had sausage and peppers and he really like it even though he doesn't generally like red sauce, but the sauce that came with garlic knots and calamari was all the same, and he loved it. The only thing he wasn't thrilled with was the sausage were all sliced. We all expected to have whole links, but they were thinly sliced longways. I wouldn't say I'm in a hurry to go back, but I would again and maybe get one of those calzones for myself or try pizza .

They bring it out in a really big bowl and it's just a little bit.. the chicken sausage is cut up whole like chopped hotdogs. It really looks lazy and unappealing.
