My husband and I have visited Durango at least once or twice a year for the past decade as it's our home away from home and no visit is ever complete without a trip to Raider Ridge Cafe. Breakfast burritos and Bear Pie smoothies are our go-to. I typically get two meals out of my burrito as they are pretty filling. Service is always friendly and the food is always delicious. You usually have to wait a little bit for your order but it's very much worth it. We have eaten inside the cafe before but prefer to take it to-go as the setup is small (but cozy). I stopped at this eatery looking for lunch. They not only had wonderful, fresh made food. They also have amazing coffee. I took a hot mocha to go also. The counter service was fast and it is in a cute little corner space inside a strip mall. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and fresh made. A local favorite spot since forever. I live near here and sometimes pop in for a quick wrap or a smoothie. The staff is friendly, but can be a little slow during rush hours. The dining area is small, but cozy, and there is limited outdoor seating if you want to bring a dog. The prices are more than fair. The wraps are pretty big, so I often split one with a friend, making this a very affordable lunch. Each wrap comes with a side of slaw, chips and hummus or a couple other offerings. You can get pretty much any of them with tofu, so lots of veggie options. My favorites are the Albuquerque Turkey, the Firecracker and the crunchy Thai roll. I can also recommend the house-made hummus with red pepper. You could do a lot worse for a quick lunch than Raider Ridge. Happy travels! Seatbelts! read more

Originally we were going to another restaurant but they were close so we got here. Thank goodness!!! This restaurant is 5 stars!!! We met the owner who is super friendly and nice to chat. The service is impeccable. The food...oh my god...we ordered chilaquiles for breakfast. The absolute BEST. We are from Austin and eat lots of Mexican food but this one is unique, tasty, and beautiful. I got the one with chorizo and my partner got the one with chicken. Both are fantastic. It was very clean inside and despite being understaffed and dealing with difficult customers the staff remained friendly and was very accommodating to the situation. We stumbled across this hidden gem while looking for breakfast while trying to avoid the crowds on a Sunday. It was fairly busy but they were churning out fresh fruit smoothies and sandwiches and wraps at a steady pace. I had the spicy verde wrap and my husband had their breakfast sandwich - they were really good! The employees were friendly, helpful and did not seem harried despite the pace they working. Oh wow, great build your own breakfast burritos! I love burritos for breakfast but I don't like eggs, sausage, bacon or cheese so the fact that I can put anything I want, including kale is just magical. Tons of fun ingredients. You can also do it as a bowl but the tortillas are worth the extra carbs this time. Cute little place lots of space not busy. Quick service, hot sauce counter!! Quick pit stop on my way through Durango. It was 11am on a Sunday and I was looking for a good cup of coffee and a sweet treat. THEY WERE OUT OF (drip) COFFEE!! The two ladies behind the counter were accommodating and asked if I'd like an Americano. I agreed, but am not sure if I paid extra for that. I also ordered a breakfast burrito (pre-made) which was small but excellent. The lady asked if I wanted salsa with it, I did. But then she forgot to give it to me. I also had a peanut butter energy bar, that was also excellent. I will likely check out another coffee shop on my way through town. read more

We arrived a few minutes after the cafe opened. Ordered 2 Big Canyon wraps and waited 25 min for them. They arrived full of burnt potatoes, and were super dry. Really good food, however the smoothie is amazing. I have had their build your own quesadilla and burrito, both were great. If you are getting eggs go with the burrito, without eggs the quesadilla is better. Love the fresh ingredients and the flavor of the green chilies. The one thing I'd change here is that they tend to get a line at breakfast and it can move slow because it seems like the only one making smoothies is the one taking the orders so you place an order then they make your drink then move to the next person. Kind of makes the line move slow when there are 4 or 5 people in line. But it is worth the wait. The grab ang go burritos are pretty good also if you dont have time to wait for your special one lol. Great little hole-in-the-wall!! Delicious cold brew coffee from Dessert Sun, and I devoured their vegan breakfast burrito dubbed "The Big Canyon". Great, friendly service all around. The atmosphere was very comfy and relaxing besides the occasional smoothie being blended, but that's to be expected. Grabbed some lunch with my mom at this little cafe. It's hidden in the corner of the plaza so keep your eyes peeled! The menu is mainly wraps but apparently you can have anything on the menu made as a salad which is pretty cool. They also have a nice selection of breakfast burritos, smoothies, and coffee. I ordered the Durango wrap and my mom had a half salad with a cup of soup (green chili). Service was relatively fast and the ladies who helped us at the counter were nice. I was super happy with my wrap: the wheat exterior was soft and yummy, and it was packed with deliciousness inside (chicken, avocado, greens). The serving is quite large, and they give you a choice of a side too, so I tried the Asian slaw which had great flavor and crunch. Remember to bus your dishes after your meal! My stomach was definitely full after eating here and the variety of the wraps will have me coming back to try more soon. read more
