We enjoyed a cortado and mocha while enjoying pastries from the shop next door. Their beans are lightly roasted, not burned- too easy to get another... I highly recommend their coffee, but don't ignore the adjacent bakery- a dynamic duo!. read more

Great local coffee spot. Fresh coffee with a helpful staff. Nice place to start your day whether you drink in house or to go!

Ran in and grabbed a coffee but I've been in another time to sit and hang. Small but great space! Parking can be a challenge. Wonderful menu. Got an iced mocha that I thoroughly enjoyed. read more

Beware of the delicious gluten-free muffins - I have purchased many over the course of the last 6 months and 4 have been so burned on the bottom and sides that I could only eat about 2/3 of them. This morning, I took the inedible burned section back to the coffee house to show the barista/s the problem & she seemed like I was inconveniencing her & just made excuses for why the muffins get burned. I made a few suggestions about how the problem might be resolved & she just shined me on...tho did ask if I wanted a coffee! Like a number of other recent reviewers' have commented, the staff could be more attentive and offer better customer service. Do better, 81301! read more

Amazing coffee! Horrible service. I felt unwanted while there. It was by one employee. If you don't like humans find a new job. She is not fond of questions. Seems to only like emotionless transactions. I love the coffee there but I'll likely not go back and recommend it to no one. read more

I love the coffee and tea-fantastic! The ambience is ok although nothing special. There's a very small amount of seating and it is uncomfortable seating. Also there is a very marked difference between how locals get treated by the staff and how the rest of us get treated. I was hoping the first time I came that it was a fluke, but no. I've come enough times to know that it isn't and it wasn't just me. Everyone who wasn't an obvious resident got a cold shoulder. If this review was based purely on service, it would have gotten 1 star. But again, GREAT coffees & teas. read more

Two stars are for the coffee. Some of best coffee in town. I'd give zero stars for the rude, stuck up staff. They act like their doo doo don't stink. Don't waste your money tipping. They don't give thanks or appreciation for that either. read more

Wow, their Chai is delicious! Literally said wow after my first sip. Walking in the service is friendly and welcoming. The milk alternatives are great. I will be coming back to try all their cold brew soon. The ambience here is mellow and although I was only here for less than 5 minutes I did enjoy my time waiting for my Chai. read more

The coffee here is incredible....the current staff terrible....depends on what you want to accomplish that day. Choose your own adventure at this coffee house. Battle the hipster attitude for that caffeine fix or go elsewhere! read more

Good coffee shop , sometimes even has great parking,. Prices are a little high. Staff is friendly. Tea is always good

This is a friendly little shop on North Main. I usually get drip coffee or cold brew here and like both. They often have single-origin brews available, which is a good thing. Because it's north of downtown, 81301 Roasters is usually quieter than other Main Ave shops. This is a good place to get work done. I'd like some comfier seating, but they do have a pleasant outdoor section. Easily recommendable. Happy travels! Seatbelts! read more

Best coffee in Durango, hands down. Friendly proprietor and staff. Had a 12 oz hot latte. Smooth, bold and freaking delicious. I LOVE espresso, and I make it a point to try specialty espresso drinks everywhere we go (hVe been to 49 states). This was up there with some of the best coffee houses we've been to across the US. read more

Came in for a cold brew that was quite good. The barista knew what my wife meant when she asked about the "notes" in the brewed coffee, which is always a good sign. And they had something other than the usual floral or fruity varieties that we don't prefer. It's a small place, but they have indoor seating. They close up shop in the early afternoon, so get here before then if you want to enjoy the offerings! read more

I was surprised that there weren't more local coffee places in Durango! This place fit the bill for me. They had tasty lattes and cute decor. They were a little off the main drag, but worth the extra effort to get there. read more

What happened to "service with a smile" or a greeting, or a thank you? While the coffee is excellent, the staff is somewhat dismissive or ambivalent. I went in for a couple of coffee's and was asked, without a glance up, what can I get you?, stated price, then the credit card screen with tip options displayed. It doesn't make a customer feel good or valued when you can't even get a smile or a thank you, and are asked to tip. There are lots of good and friendly places to get coffee in Durango and this isn't the first time I've been treated like this (from multiple staff). I won't be going in again. read more

Here I am again! Had to order beans online while I was away (yes! they do that and they're good +fast delivery!) Now I'm back in town, back with my peeps - the coffee and service is just as good as when I left! read more

The place had a relaxing vibe with a wonderful smell of fresh roasted coffee. We were happy and looking forward to good experience. Then we met an employee with an attitude. She appeared annoyed, taking our excitement and turning it into regret. We chose this place over Durango Joes because we wanted to try a new experience and the atmosphere was better than Joes. But our desire to try a new experience ended at the counter. Joe's has friendly employees that make eye contact and always seem happy and glad to see their customers. Maybe for the much younger generation positive human interaction is not necessary. But for me, I still appreciate a friendly face and kindness. Not to much to ask. read more

Coffee was average and service was grumpy and unhelpful. They don't serve food, except for a couple muffins. Not sure where the burritos or cinnamon rolls were. Go over to Raider Ridge Cafe. Tons of delicious food options, good coffee, and friendly employees. read more

We went around 10 and were helped right away. My husband and I boy go cappuccinos with almond milk. 5 star beverage! The staff were friendly and the environment was serene. Super friendly owners! Super tasty coffees in big ass cups!! Nice atmosphere!! What is not to like? I could easily see someone from California complaining but that is expected. If you are from anywhere else you will love this place!! Outlets for charging everywhere also. read more

Loved their coffee and friendly staff! Our order was ready in no time and we're happy we discovered this place. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of pastries/desserts - they are were VERY sugary and even though I have sweet tooth they were still super sweet. I kid you not! When you order your Mocha Breve, at your first sip you will be taken back in time to your family kitchen when chocolate chip cookies were in the oven. The in-house ground coffee and house syrups, will blow you away. The team behind the counter extend the family kitchen atmosphere. It made our first visit there one to remember. We just moved to Durango and this is now our favorite coffee shop here. My only request would be that they include White Chocolate on the menu in the future so I can order a Black & White Mocha. read more

I got the brown sugar almond latte - delicious. My husband tried a Dr. Pepper espresso drink that was on the specials menu, but did not like it and ended up throwing it away. Wonderful drinks with killer burritos! There is a reason this small shop has a 5 star rating.

the offerings and beverages are good but the music is WAY TOO LOUD. the place sounds more like a Rave than a coffee shop. and it's a hangout for loud "dudes". I had to run out the door this morning. And I'm thinking that I cannot patronize them any longer. read more

Well crafted coffee that pleased my husband's coffee aficionado palate. I enjoyed my decaf oat milk latte which was smooth and flavorful.
