The plants always look like the have really been taken care of with minimal effort. The staff helped us pick out several plants and helped load the plants. My father lives out of state and sent us money to be held there via an account gift card. No conversation about expiration at all and nothing citing this stipulation on the receipt. We were waiting for the perfect rock. When we tried to redeem the several hundred dollars to purchase that rock, they were rude and dismissive, unprofessional, insulting saying my Father doesn't know how to follow directions. This was frustrating for all of us. The federal cc act of 2009 is in place to protect patrons like us in this scenario. We finally got our money, but we will never support these shady business practices. Bummer that their greed overshadowed what could've been good business practices. Being in a small town there isn't much competition for them which makes this even more sad.

Thankfully they had 3! And a wide variety of other colors too, more then anywhere else. The employee seemed to know how each rose would bloom and discussed several colors and how they evolved as they opened. Home depots Rose's looked sickly and wilted, I wasn't about to buy those. Two other nurseries just did not have what I was looking for only carrying limited colors mostly red, white and pink. Another simply didn't carry Rose's at all. The pansies here were also huge and beautiful. I was surprised at the variety and health of the plants here. Everywhere I looked I discovered something I would like to take home. I found the most healthy strawberry plants ever here, I may be back for some. I have to admit I thought this place was gonna be small and disappointing, fortunately I was wrong. If your a Durango local, don't underestimate this place. I know it isn't as well known at Native Roots or as big as Durango Nursery but the selection is good, the plants are healthy, and the employees were helpful and knowledgeable.

I go to the garden center at 9:30 am on a nice day in the spring to get garden soil and compost and…read morethe register there is closed and the gate is locked. So I go in main door and back into garden center dragging the flat heavy cart. I get about 10 bags on the cart, about 300 pounds or so and have to drag it all the way to the opposite side of the store to pay for it. Maybe when you go you'll get lucky and the garden center register and gate will be open and an employee will offer to help. I probably will shop elsewhere next time.

When I called in to place the order, April was very nice and accommodating to the change my client wanted to make.
