I received flowers for my birthday delivered by this business. The roses and lilies were wilted and in poor shape. There were sticks in the arrangement that were in poor shape as well. Having a sister who is a florist and helping her at her shop - she never would have allowed such a horrible and sad looking arrangement out of her shop. This was an incredible disappointment for something that was supposed to be a delightful surprise for my birthday, my boyfriend was extremely disappointed. Management didn't offer to send out a new arrangement, just offered some store credit. I drove past this shop for almost a year of living here and always commented on how it looked like my kind of place. Then I got a new job and started driving by every day. It wasn't long before I resolved to actually step foot in the door. It's DEFINITELY my kind of place. Little nooks and crannies stuffed full of beautiful things. Tons of gorgeous, beautiful flowers. They also have a nice selection of jewelry, and I even bought myself a nice necklace. My E got me my Valentines flowers here this year, and they were absolutely stunning. Orchids, purple roses, and lilies reached three feet in the air. He got many, many kudos for those :) They are definitely pricey, but their arrangements are worth it. We used April's Garden for our destination wedding in Telluride, CO. Both our coordinator- Celeste Greene and our photographers- Jacob and Annie of Brumely and Wells recommended we use them and I'm so glad we did!! Natalie did such an amazing job designing our florals. We wanted a very vintage, natural/wild look and her execution was perfect. I have used this company in past. Must have new owners because I just spent money for them to deliver a cabbage in a floral arrangement for my mom for Mother's Day. I asked for flowers that would last but got leaves (green), tropical flower(green) , fuller leafs ( green), purple and green cabbage. The ugliest flower Agra game that I have ever seen. If there was a way to put the pic up I would. Then everyone would agree. I live out of town, but if they thought I was not going to get picks they must have been crazy. This is my last time. After talking with the owner she corrected the problem and made a wonderful arrangement and hand delivered. Greatly appreciate the customer service. Outstanding display with such a variety of flowers. Definitely so much more than what is available in grocery stores. This order was placed during the COVID-19 time, the woman who made our arrangement was working alone and had all the sanitary recommendations in place, she even made sure to tell us that she sanitized the vase after touching it and then used gloves afterwards for all handling. I reached out to April's Gardens after seeing reviews from other brides and I am so happy I did! They were so easy to work with (and I live out of state) and created the most BEAUTIFUL flowers. I wanted a more rustic feel to my wedding with wildflowers but had no other ideas on where to start. Molly and her team created beautiful centerpieces that she was able to also use at my ceremony and created perfect bouquets for me and my bridesmaids . I called the shop directly from Phoenix to order flowers for a funeral service being held at St. Marks. The woman who answered the phone (I think it was Dawn) was so extremely helpful. They were preparing other orders for the service so she had all the information. She advised me that they didn't have the lilies I had in mind but helped me by suggesting orchids that would be very pretty and fit what I wanted. The pricing was good and I was so glad to be able to speak to the shop instead of going through 1800flowers or some other online ordering. I attempted to order a gift with one of those online companies (4 days in advance) due to being across the country, and spent 4 days getting numerous emails and phone calls from said company to tell me information such as no florists have balloons, to no florists have the gift, etc. and then after the delivery should have occurred getting a call to tell me no florists in Durango was able to provide the order I took things into my own hands. In a frantic attempt to rectify this mess and get something to my lifelong friend in the hospital, I called April's directly. Based on the past days disappointments I was not hopeful. Not only did April's fulfill the order, they also offered a much better selection than what the online company showed as the product, proving how incapable those companies are, took the time to make sure everything was perfect and it was delivered within an hour!! $75 for a very pathetic arrangement. one lilly, two roses and a stick, roses were starting to wilt already. arrangement was only about 8 inches high which I asked for a couple of lilies and a mix of whatever for around $60. Was expecting something taller and much nicer. Owner did offer a credit towards another arrangement though and staff is friendly. But quality of arrangements and flowers was not good for that high of a price. read more

How do these people even stay in business? I called to ask a question for a destination wedding that we are planning in November. I called this shop on the recommendation of a friend. The lady that I spoke with had no idea what she was talking about. She kept saying..... Well it depends, Well it depends. Depends on what? I'm calling you to find out what the cost is, what the time line could be, and if what my fiancé wants is even possible. I asked if she needed some time to do the calculations and get back to me. Well it depends. I then asked if she could email me some picture of things that they have done. Thinking perhaps I wasn't using the right terms or words. That's why I'm calling. I'm not a florist - you advertise that you are. Well it depends on what you want to looks at. AGGGGHHHHHH!! This is one of the most frustrating conversations I have had in a good long while. Finally, she starts asking someone else questions and starts providing me prices for a bouquet, boutonnieres, and small table arrangements. I want to purchase some flowers for a wedding. Not the entire store. Do yourself a favor and find a different florist. These people have no clue what they are doing. read more

I went to April's Garden to order flowers for my mom's memorial service. I came with a few pictures of what I had in mind for flowers around her urn. I also showed the color of the urn and asked them for recommendations of flower colors to compliment it. After discussing the arrangement we decided to add two additional side arrangements for candles. She was very patient in working through the details and providing recommendations. The price quoted was great (much better than anticipated) so we proceeded with the order. When I picked up the arrangements two days later, I could not have been more pleased. The arrangements were absolutely beautiful and met every request and more. I could see they were happy to see that I was happy with the flowers as they knew they were for my mom's service.
