Rafter Eleven is a place to relax, have a glass of wine or two and nibble on some cheese and crackers or a sandwich. The ambiance is nice with indoor seating with high top tables or regular seating or outdoor seating under a patio cover with grape vines surrounding the structure. Came here with some friends to catch up on daily life and whatever else was happening in our busy lives. We were greeted by the friendly staff but I felt like we were rushed to order, eat, and leave even though we were told take our time. I ordered their roast beef & cheese on a croissant which came with a cute side of blackberries and a few grapes. However, as I was eating the blackberries, I noticed fuzzy white stuff on it. After further investigating, I realized that the berries were starting to go bad because they had mold on it. Some of my friends already had ingested all their berries and we're wondering if there's a moldy too, but it was too late. Just a suggestion, maybe they should check what they're serving to make sure that the quality of the products that they are providing guests are fresh and if not, they need to throw the product away before it makes it's way to their customer. read more

I got a latte for only $5. A bargain these days. I was in a hurry for my road trip but the owner mixed me an ice water with a splash of cherry balsamic. It was tasty! They sell wine here and I think they sell balsamic vinegars in various unique flavors. As I was leaving, I think I saw pink balsamic in the wine racks. It was early . They also have the sweetest cutest small dog that loves you to talk to it and pet it. The decor inside is really pretty with a kind of Victorian look... Woden decor and couches and tables. 2 ladies served some packed croissant sandwiches that looked quaint and delicious, chicken or tuna perhaps. It's a cafe with a bit of everything. This place is amazing and is a wonderful place to meet friends. Their scones are delicious and made in-house. Coffee is made to order and their cappuccino is the best you can find. First of all, let me start out by saying we had very high expectations of this established and we were looking forward to a good experience as we are new to the area and love the wine bar experience. I ordered a lemon martini it was delivered to me un drinkable it was so bitter and tart it tasted like vinegar. When I inquired about the vinegar taste, I was told that they use a sweet vinegar. Then a few minutes later the bartender came over and said that someone accidentally had put some thing in her mix (lime) mix which was causing it to taste off. She made me another but it still tasted terrible. I tried to order a glass of wine but they ignored us at that point. I do not recommend their mixed drinks they're putting vinegar in all of their drinks! The bartender Has zero training in making drinks obviously. The menu however isn't much help and wait staff never mentioned. I ordered the Popeye to eat which is a puff pastry type of dish. The Dough was completely raw inside. The server then started to argue with me over the fact that it really couldn't have been Raw because it was baked twice- I picked up the raw dough and rolled it in my hand hands As if I was going to make a cookie... to show her how raw it was. This is the same server that argued with me over the lemon cello having sweet lemon vinegar in it. But when I asked the bartender about it she said there is no vinegar in the drink. On the menu it does not disclose if there's any vinegar in the lemon cello drink otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. I do not recommend this place unless you're just going to have a glass of wine maybe a salad. My husband got the quiche and it was very good it was crispy and Well Done it was delicious. read more

My husband and I went here on a day date and had so such a nice time. We live in Prescott Valley so it was nice having a wine bar this close to home. All the food was very good from the bruschetta to the flatbread! I've been to a few wineries in surrounding areas and was surprised to find that the selection they had was better than some of the actual wineries! The bartender makes some really good drinks! The server was knowledgeable and attentive. The kitchen was slow...very slow. The one chef behind the counter was barely present for the first order and non-existent for the second order. The lighting and mood was nice and they even had some live music which was nice. Rafter eleven is delightful in every way. My husband and I stopped in for early lunch thinking we'd get the usual Prescott Valley stuff. Prepare to be amazed! Great lunch! And the server is attentive, accommodating and personable. We're from NYC and have been here 6 years. We're so sorry we didn't discover this wonderful little jewel before we decided to go back East. The quiche was remarkably remarkable, the carrot-ginger soup was pleasingly pleasant with a finely grated texture, the curry chicken sandwich was on the precipice of honorable mention (I'll have to ask for an extra dash of curry to kick things up a notch), and the atmosphere was cozy and quaint. Prescott Valley needs a unique bistro or two to lend a little class and creativity to a morass of chain/fast food restaurants. Rafter 11 fits the bill so far, yet has untapped potential for more substantive food offerings, even perhaps really unique upper end craft beer options in the future. A small, yet easily remedied critique: the mellow music playlist broadcast on a very small Bluetooth speaker near the kitchen was interrupted habitually by commercials. Not good. Not good at all. Continue the mellow music scene uninterrupted by commercials and place multiple small speakers throughout the establishment so all patrons may enjoy the cool vibe. read more

We didn't eat but came on a Friday. There was live music witch is always nice. Our waitress was really busy but the guy who welcomed guests and was the bar tender was nice enough to help out. We had to ask for a server twice, we had to request water refills multiple times and we had to request utensils after quite a wait for our lunch. We might have ordered another drink, but we sat for (20) minutes without any type of acknowledgment from the service staff. As we sat there, we watched the owner eating her lunch and on her phone. The bartender who's only job seemed to be wiping glasses, glanced at us a few time but did not attempt to see if we needed anything or let a waitress know that we might need service. When we checked out, the owner got up from her lunch and I let her know that we had not been waited on for over (20) minutes; her response was "Oh, people like to come in here and talk". I had not been here yet so imagine my delight when I found it was a fabulous specialty olive oil and balsamic vinegar purveyor like my beloved store in Grass Valley Ca. Rafter Eleven is a true gem and great addition to the Prescott Valley area. Dawn and her staff are warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the products they serve. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. They support local artists, so don't be surprised to find live music drifting out the door. I was lucky enough to enjoy the music and musings of Chino Valley Musician Bill Williams when I visit. They have a very good and varied wine selection with some varieties you don't see many other places. Their selection of olive oils and balsamic is very generous and they offer fun cooking classes and tips to learn how to use and incorporate the different flavors. I highly suggest stopping by if you are looking for a unique and intimate experience. I haven't gotten a chance to try their coffee and scones, but if it is anything like their bruschetta, it will be excellent, no doubt! read more

Definitely not please with a 4 X 3 inch piece of pumpkin pie for $11.00, and when stated my displeasure I was told groceries have gone up 65%. Really, an entire pie would cost less than what I was charged. Also, interestingly other good restaurants sure don't charge $11.00 for a piece of pumpkin pie of which the slices are twice the size. What a lovely setting to enjoy outdoors on a beautiful Prescott Valley morning. Jim and I wanted just a little something for breakfast and I remembered we had stopped by Rafters last year. Fabulous! You have to try the Popeye which is made with puff pastry with a basil pesto, ham and caramelized onions. The presentation was beautiful. Jim had the Quiche Lorraine which was beautifully cooked and presented. And we couldn't leave out Bentley who enjoyed his Puppacino. He ate it so delicately. I think he realized too that this is a pretty classy place! We will definitely try out an early evening cocktail soon. read more
