OLLI class assignment was to try this place; otherwise, hadn't known it existed. We went Friday evening with another couple, arriving at 5pm. The VINO offers seating outdoors where there was a guitarist/singer as well as indoors. We'd made a reservation for table indoors and got a nice window view facing front seating area. The decor was charming & cozy, waitstaff attentive but seemed they were getting busy. A bit of a wait to place our order but we weren't in a hurry.
We decided to order all four Flatbreads and asked to start with their Caprese Skewers. Our server did a great job of bringing out only two Flatbreads and then waiting till we had finished before she brought out the other two. I was also pleased to find we got 4 skewers and the Flatbreads were cut in four slices, perfect for us to share easily.
My husband and I had a couple glasses of wine, choosing from a wine list including sparkling, whites & reds from CA, AZ, Italy, Spain, Argentina, etc., so quite a variety; and, also offered, were beer, waters, soda, & coffee.
Unfortunately, we ended up too full to try their desserts so definitely need go again. Next visit we'll try an outdoor table as evenings are getting pleasant and VINO at the Prescott Pines is a great setting for a glass of wine and a light meal. read more
