This is my first ever Yelp review, but after my last two experiences at Rack Attack I felt the need to take some time to write a few things. First off, every employee that I spoke with or interacted with was top notch and professional in every sense. I purchased a yakima cargo basket, 1.25 inch hitch receiver, and a thule bike rack. They were able to walk me through all their products and what would be best for my vehicle and what I was looking for. From installing my cargo basket to my hitch, everything went smoothly. In no way shape or form can I see this store not receiving 5 stars. I also wanted to write something about one of their employees, Tim. I spoke with him for a bit at the store my first time going over some products and just talking about some of the uses I would be using my hitch for. Over the week I was having some second thoughts about getting a 2inch hitch instead of a 1.25, I spoke with Tim more than once and he explained to me the biggest differences in the receiver size and that for what I was doing and with my vehicle size that I should stay with 1.25. I got my hitch and bike rack today and Tim installed both for me. I had just moved to boston from chicago last week and Tim saw my bicycle was in the back of my suburu and went above and beyond his job putting my anti theft wheels back on my bike so I could put it on the rack. Great products here and even better people. Hope this helps anyone having any hesitation about giving this place a shot.

I was having trouble with the lock on my roof box and Brian suggested I come in so he could take a look at it.

The patience, knowledge and friendliness of the staff who handle roof racks and bike racks is outstanding. When I first purchased my Thule rack, they helped me determine what parts I needed, including the addition of some parts not carried by L.L. Bean. Throughout the course of several phone calls, they patiently answered every question, and then did an excellent job of installing the roof rack. When it was time to remove the roof rack, they showed an equal measure of patience by answering all of my questions during several phone calls. They patiently explained the parts that I needed to bring with me for the removal process, and re-scheduled the appointment twice without complaint. I really appreciated their helpfulness, since I kept misplacing important parts that were needed. Thank you L.L. Bean!

L.L. Bean, an amazing place to get some winter outdoorsy gear!…read moreThis store location in Legacy Place, Dedham, is enormous with 2 floors. They've got water bottles, shoes, and outdoor recreational equipment on the first floor & on the second floor they have a mix of women's, men's, and kid's clothing. I adore their duck boots, a must for the winter time... specifically their shearling-lined insulated model. Incredibly warm, perfect for snow days. Their "wicked good moccasins" are incredibly comfortable and I love wearing them in the fall/winter time. I've definitely gone through several pairs. Backpacks are super nostalgic; I had mine with my initials as a kid haha, honestly I would get another one. Good quality, got about ten years of use out of that backpack & it allowed me to carry 5 heavy textbooks and some more.
