7/10/25- It's…read moreironic- I never used to shop at an Rei when I lived in Elk Grove, Ca.. probably because it was further away.. Since living here, and it's right next to Costco.. I'm a frequent shopper.. Purchased some Hoka's back in November- but one side started ripping - so I returned and purchased another On shoes.. Surprisingly they did not fit.. (yet I have four pairs that are the same size and fit).. go figure- Returned them and started browsing in store.. Just my luck- found a nice On pair- I like these because it's really not messy on the upper.. Noticed an email on the Rei app about the new On Cloudsurfer 2 trail running-.. Wow- those are ones I just got..! Comfy and decided to wear them today..

I had issues getting the Buy 1, Get 1, 50% Off Sale applied to my purchase and then had to wait additional time to get my husband's Military Discount. Regardless, it was a good deal, so I came back to get 2 more Shorts the following day. When it was time to pay, there was no issue applying the sale, but we noticed the amounts didn't match when they should've been the same . Nick was able to see that in the previous purchase only a 5% and not a 10% Military Discount had been applied, so he made the necessary adjustments. I didn't even have to ask, he just made it right. What a difference from the Customer Service I recieved on Sunday. I hope somebody in management reads this review and rewards Nick for the awesome job!

I placed an order online for pick up today. They were the only store in town that had what I was…read morelooking for, shoes and clothing sizes in stock and also available for same day delivery! I had already sent my order in when I saw they offer that service! I'll totally keep that in mind for the future. I was able to take advantage of extra sales by placing my order via online and curbside was available. I checked in for curbside online and parked in spot #4, updated my spot and my order was brought out to me in less than five minutes. Their prices were a better deal than the other stores in the area. I will definitely be returning in the near future. With my kids and their sports I'm glad that this process was painless. I hate shopping with the crowds especially during the holiday season. With my busy work schedule and balancing my life these days, I've purchased most of my gifts online or shipped to my doorstep. I'm glad if I need something for my kids, I can have it brought out to me or to my door for an additional $10. Thank you Dick's for offering these extra services and the ease of ordering online. Friendly employees willing to help. Price was part of the course for 511 tactical. Only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, I kind of wish the music had been a little bit more subdued. Clearly they're going for these country western theme, but music talking about hookers just isn't professional, especially in a shop tailored to professionals.

After talking with us about our exercise habits and checking our gaits on their walking machines, he told us to sit tight while he got us some walking shoes that he thought might work for us. He brought each of us 3 pairs of shoes to try on to see how they felt. While we were trying on each pair, he explained each of the shoes to us. While he was helping us, the store got busy and he was also helping other customers. Yet, he did it so effortlessly, everyone was well cared for. He helped each us find walking shoes, inserts, and socks based on our specific needs. His customer service skills are awesome. He is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and he listens to his customers needs so he can help them find the right shoes. The store has an abundance of shoes and running gear at competitive prices and the staff is outstanding.

My girlfriend and I visited Reno Running Company today in search of new work shoes for her. We both…read morework in healthcare and need specific shoes for long hours. The sales rep we had, is the reason for this review. Right after he sized my girlfriend's feet, he automatically started pushing the most expensive brand after we told him we wanted a specific brand. He even gave us a shoe in this more expensive brand and told my girlfriend "it's like walking on a 2x4 piece of wood." I've never heard of a sales tactic like that. Next, every box of shoe he brought out, which was more than 10, was dropped or slammed, out of frustration, we weren't sure. My girlfriend asked him nicely to not slam the boxes as it was overwhelming and she was fighting through a migraine, which she told him. His response was, "what's a migraine? I think I've heard of one before," and he was being completely serious. Lastly, as another sales tactic, he tried having us buy a shoe that they didn't have in stock but a "newer model" was coming mid July, but he said it would be at the store in a week from today "for sure." Then when we nicely said no we will wait since the newer model was something she didn't try on yet, he then said "oh well I can put your name down for it as a hold." When I asked him why he didn't start with that instead of trying to sell us a shoe my girlfriend didn't even try on, his response was, "oh I forgot the store lets us do that." I shouldn't leave out the two times he swore saying f*ck infront of us and casually swore when talking about his personal life to us. Surprised at this kind of service, and ultimately he is the reason we will not be spending our money there nor coming back.

Need snowshoes. Easy peasy. Need chains for your sports car so you can hit the slopes on a perfect Blubird day? They got you!!! Heck, they'll even do a quick tune of your skis so you can fully enjoy your day. I have never been snowshoeing. When we showed up the guys engaged in a great conversation. They asked us where we were going. We let them know it was our first time and they gave us directions. They even gave us birdseed to feed the chickadees! The entire process took about 5 minutes. And you can't beat the price! We came in, I filled out a form, paid and we left. Super quick, super easy. I didn't have any questions as I had done my research on snowshoeing.
