For those of you interested, here is the rest of the story: Since his original purchase, my Bob has taken his RZR side-by-side to Anderson for customized upgrades and extra bells and whistles. Just prior to our 2-week departure for a backcountry vacation with family, Bob picked up the RZR from Anderson after they had installed some new wiring and audio upgrades. Even though the RZR worked at Anderson and was unloaded at our home, on the day of our departure, it would not start. Figuring Anderson had failed to properly connect all wiring components, Bob became sooooo irate! The RZR doesn't work, he can't even load it up onto the trailer to bring it back to Anderson AND we are now delayed in meeting our family. When he telephoned the good folks at Anderson, they quickly made arrangements to send two members of the crew to our home (almost 20 miles away!). They arrived with tools plus the plan to physically push the RZR up on the trailer if they couldn't immediately solve the problem. Fortunately, Redmond got in the driver's seat and IMMEDIATELY started up the RZR to a sweet purr. What was the problem??? My husband did not have THE GEAR IN PARK! Bob was beyond embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough for his gruff, accusatory remarks. The guys shook his hand, told us, "We hope your trip goes well," and EVEN REFUSED to take payment for their house call. Who do you know that treats their customers so well? I walked into their Showroom today a little before 1:00pm. I was the only customer in the store. I was interested in the Indian Pursuit, a $40,000 motorcycle. I spent about 10 minutes in the shop. I sat on the bike & I took pictures of the bike. At no point did anyone approach me & offer to help me. This was not a good first experience with this dealership. read more

I recently visited this location to test ride a used Indian motorcycle I saw listed. Staff was super helpful and scheduling the test ride. After the test ride, the guy I spoke with was different than the guy I scheduled the test ride with. After the test ride, the guy was super helpful in answering questions I had about other motorcycles. I didn't feel pressured to buy or that he was trying to upsell me. He was very respectful of my price point and understood that I wasn't in a huge rush to buy. I would recommend this venue as far as the experiences of test riding and looking at motorcycle. Love this place, I popped in here for a gas can that my husband needed for his hunting trip. I had ordered online and it actually was delivered to my house in Florida accident I'm not sure why but whatever the case obviously I needed it right away. I called. They had it. I stopped in on the way home with my kids from school! Quick and easy well stocked shop for any power sports, not sure why I just didn't stop here in the first place. Visited a few stores today and couldn't find exactly what we needed for a Christmas gift (specifically a youth sized dirt bike) but I was directed here via the guys at Reno motorsports as a potential place so I made the trip on over! First off the staff was fun, personable, and engaging. The store overall was well stocked with lots of options, we initially thought we'd be going for a gas powered dirt bike but the little electric dirt bike checked off all our needs and still gives the kiddo lots of room to learn and grow (which was demonstrated by an adult staff member hoping on it to gives us a little idea on how it handles) This was my first time in and definitely now that it's on my radar a great place for gift buying in the future as well as ordering parts for my Polaris quad! So if you like to even just look at big kid toys they have a large showroom with UTV's, ATV's, dirt bikes, street bikes and lots of upgrades and gear. We'll be picking up the bike tomorrow since we came in later in the day so they can make sure it's fully charged and do a thorough once over which we appreciate! read more

I went there to trade my motorcycle and purchase a side by side. The low balled me on my trade in. Before I went to Reno Cycle, I stopped at another dealership who offered me higher on my trade in. No a big deal. But when I was trying to put a bigger down payment on the side by side I was trying to purchase, they told me the most I could put down was $2000. I've bought a few quads and motorcycles before and never have I heard that there was a limit on what I can put down on a toy. A little part of me thought about walking out. First by low balling me on my trade in then telling me they have a limit on what I can put down. I'm not sure I'd buy there again. They were ok. Better service than Big Valley Honda who totally suck as far as customer service goes. Don't get me wrong, they were nice once the sale was getting closer to being done. They could have met me halfway for my trade in or at least let me more down on something I wanted to purchase. I'd be on the fence of recommending this place to close friends. Dealing with the employees, it sort of had that sketchy used car dealership feel. They were sort of nice but put that vibe of not wanting to really come back and buy anything. Bought a new snowmobile from them this summer. The whole process was a pain and there was a complete lack of professionalism and customer service from the staff. When spending 18k on something, you think they would at least be nice. 2 days after the purchase they called 12 times threatening to repo the sled because THEY were missing a signature they forgot to ask for. I was on vacation and they made sure to bother me several times knowing I was was out of town. Brought the sled in to have a recall done. They finished the sled but did not call the day of them finishing the recall. They called the next day. You can tell the brand new snowmobile had been sitting outside overnight. Got the sled back and it was filthy. It took 2 hours just to clean. It's a very pathetic dealership and they do not care about the customer whatsoever the second you have handed over the money. I will never spend another dime here. It's worth the drive to Sacramento to avoid the piss poor workers of this dealership!! read more

This is a late review. I bought and sold a Polaris at this location. The customer service was phenomenal along with competitive prices. Everybody here from the owner to all the employees where just a pleasure to deal with. The owner Bill was a man of his word and really saved the day. Not to mention he bought back the Polaris at a very reasonable price. I was moving and needed to sell my Polaris asap but I also needed it to be picked up since I didn't have a trailer. I took my 2020 Ranger in for a warranty item repair. Polaris was back ordered on the part and it seemed like it was going to be down for awhile. Ty, the service manager approached the parts manager Paul about the issue. Paul was able to get the part shipped from the factory within 2 days after placing the order. Once the part came in, Ty was able to get my Ranger in the same day and the part installed on the same day it arrived at the store. Due to a personal family illness I was unable to retrieve my Ranger when they called, and understanding my problem, a worker by the name of Leon offered to bring me my Ranger for no charge, so that I could have it as soon as possible. Folks, it just doesn't get any better than that. read more

We bought a Polaris Ranger XP Crew and love it. The business seemed very busy all the time, and before I stopped in there, I was wondering if they would have the time to show us the various products. There is a reason for that. They are awesome and people go to them because of the royal treatment they give their customers. The salesman was not pushy and let us know all of the features without trying to close the sale. He answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism. The finance department worked with us when we made a mistake on our payment methods and never made us feel uncomfortable due to our mistake. We received what we paid for, and they stood by their product 100% we discovered a couple of minor cosmetic issues. The service department was top notch as was the parts department. Searching online and seeking based upon my developer's advice, I found a Polaris 570 Ranger for sale by Reno Cycle and Gear. Honestly, I don't know much about off-road vehicles, but this was described as something that could get the job done. I don't live in Nevada, but Montana. We don't have sales tax in Montana, so when I made an offer that was quickly accepted, I was told that sales tax would be added despite my living out of state. I begged to differ and was met with a lot of resistance over the issue, and it is something I will research after this weekend. So, the vehicle was priced at $7999 or "best offer". A full description of the vehicle was listed. It was listed above blue book value for a vehicle in GOOD CONDITION. I drove 2 1/2 hours to purchase and pick up today. I have the income to buy brand new if I want, but it's not something I normally would do... When I arrived and said I was there to look at vehicle the counter clerk went to the back and retrieved a man named Bill. Apparently, Bill is the owner of this "family-owned" business. I had talked to him briefly on the phone earlier. He didn't shake my hand, say hello or anything. He just began telling me how many vehicles he has been selling the past two months, how they cannot even keep them in stock, they sold an all-time record, yada yada yada. Why should I care? He acted like he was amped up on coke with his slimy, slug-like tongue rolling around in his mouth. An employee with meth mouth took me out to the vehicle. It was so beat up at only 2 years: It was rusty underneath, they had replaced the transmission to put it on the lot as sellable, there was dried up mud caked under the fenders, it was scratched excessively all over. The seat covering was ripped. The picture online showed none of this. I expressed my disappointment with its condition. Bill came outside and heard my disappointment. His response? He said I complained too much and told me to leave the property, that he didn't want to sell me any vehicle. I said, but I just drove two and a half hours. He said he didn't care. If he had a brain he might have sold me a new one. But, what is one customer right? Reno Cycle is just oozing with sales. I wasn't yelling. I wasn't using foul language. I just expressed my disappointment. Being a woman business owner, I know the type of man that isn't used to an independent woman. He seems to think lowly of women by his behavior. Seems Bill has the only ATV dealership in town and truly does not care about his customers. As long as money is coming in, he acts like customers are disposable chattel. I own an Inc 500 business and several properties. As a business owner, myself, I never take my customers for granted because you never know if that one customer can significantly impact your business. There are several signs of a good motorcycle shop: First, the majority of the staff actually ride, and actually participate in the riding community they sell and service. Secondly, they should never be open on Sunday. Thirdly, they should be prepared for whatever you can possibly and realistically throw at them. On these points and many others, Reno Cycles does and well deserves the title of "motorcycle shop." I can say that I've had nothing but overall positive experiences here. From the first quarts of oil purchased with a free weather report and where to expect to ride safely (it was the middle of winter and yes, I was riding), to their first St. Patrick's Day run, to their head mechanic digging through scrap parts after the shop had closed to find me a much-needed kickstand spring (and not charging a dime). read more

******UPDATE After the manger saw my review they refunded me the storage fee's. Nice to see them make it right. Dropped my bike off in September. After I told them what I thought was wrong they diagnosed several other issues, but still didn't fix the original issue, I get a call in April telling me the bike has been done since January, and they have called to let me know several times and i owe hundreds in storage Fee's. Btw I have picked up another bike since January, why didn't they tell me then. I checked my call log cant find these multiple calls. O well I USE to spend thousands of dollars a year there. I have my own Indoor storage, why would I want to leave my stuff there outside in all this weather we have had. If they actually would have called I would have picked it up. So I bought myself, what I thought would be a great fathers day present June 2017... which turned out to be a nightmare by early-August. with the problems I've had through this company, Polaris/Victory, and my previous manufacture, almost makes you want to just give up on riding... If you need repairs and your bike needs to be picked up, people forget to call you back, they don't communicate and when they do its minimal detail with no deadline, the shop takes months to look at your ride, manufactures don't push to expedite parts to shops for repairs. My 2017 Highball front abs decides to fail Roughly Early-Aug. I call Reno Cycles & Gear to explain whats going on and I need my bike picked up and repaired. well I get the run around for a while, roughly month or so. October finally comes around and I finally get I believe his name is Steve, to give me a date and time for his pick up guy to come get my 2017 Highball, now remember I first started calling the beginning of September. Finally October 18, 2017 comes and my bike is picked up. Now the guy picking my bike up, tells me I have to load my own bike onto his company's trailer, which is connected to a company truck, which I found kind of odd and was a little uncomfortable with... due to the fact I've never put a bike on a trailer before... but I did it, because well its my bike... if this guy didn't know what to do or how to ride id rather myself do it anyway.. Since Reno Cycles & Gear has had my bike, I have been told, they have a large amount of services going on right now, they're busy, they're going to get to it soon, employee hurt his back that's why they hadn't looked at my bike yet, we put on new parts from the factory, and they failed, or people just forget to call me back. The part that's really frustrating... is you know, I didn't even ask for my paint, exhaust,handle bars and fuel tank to be repaired... my bike was perfected... UNTIL the ABS failed on me... I thought that if i had everything repaired it would take months and months like the last manufacture (previous motorcycle company of bike i owned) took when I was backed over on my bike in Aug 2016... and if i just had my brakes repaired maybe I could get it back and be able to enjoy it... but instead... now i'm going to get a scratched and scared bike back, with just the ABS repaired. ((hopefully)) or the next fail might kill me... Sounds really fair on a bike I barely had for 2 months before the abs failed me. Makes you almost want to just give up riding... gets really old when you get treated like your not worth the time to be explained whats wrong with your bike... or when you call no one wants to take the time to check schedules, to see when they can come get your broken bike. people tell you they'll call you back and they're just to busy to get around to it. I haven't been calling everyday and bugging them no I have not... I call once a week to once every Two weeks. I don't want to bug them and have them do crap work... you know what I'm saying? not saying that's how they do things at all, just trying to explain. so now after this experience with this dealership and this manufacture. I get back a Motorcycle that is no longer beautiful and that has only be frustration... OH YA... when I rode out to DMV the next city over (no dmv here) I couldn't register my bike because the V.I.N. didn't match from the state's info to my records and my bike. You know the best part... The day I bought a Victory from Reno Cycle & Gear, I had the salesmen working ask me to do an Indian commercial for them because they liked my beard... Bike purchased Fathers Day June... Shop has Had MY Bike Since Oct 18th 2017. but yet I still have to pay for the bike that isn't in my possession because the factory put bad parts on, the shop took their time even getting to looking at my bike, when the shop finally got to looking at my bike they were sent bad parts from the factory. now while I did nothing but think I was buying a quality product i sit here thinking, boy was I wrong. So much for having a better experience going with Polaris/Victory... but its seems like a lot just for me to be able to say "victory" read more

I have been dealing with this dealership for over 5 years and I have bought 4 vehicles from them. They may be a small dealership but they have a HUGE selection of Polaris UTV's. Far more than any other dealer in the area. Every experience all have one thing in common, it's always a great experience. However the great experience doesn't end with just the sell. Bill the owner is a super guy and it's all about customer satisfaction and customer service from the sales department to the service department and even the parts department.
