My wife and I haven't moved in 26 years, so we were very nervous of getting scammed by a moving company. James, Rasler, and Jake from RA Movers did an Amazing job moving our items! James and his crew were like a well-oiled machine. Everyone had a job and they did it! They moved our home with professionalism and craftsmanship. Yes, craftsmanship for a mover is when you move a 500 lb. safe. From the time I first contacted them until the job was completed, they were very professional and communicative it was a pleasure doing business with them. The crew was courteous and worked hard to complete the job. They went the extra mile even when it wasn't the scope of the job. We were very pleased with the move and the cost was exactly to the penny of the estimate. I wouldn't hesitate to use RA Movers again in the future. James was a consummate professional and man of his word. They do business with a good old-fashioned handshake and the ethics that go with it. A rare find these days! read more

I moved in the middle of the corona virus pandemic. It was very stressful on many levels. James was laid back and casual which was very calming in all of my stress. He and his crew arrived and took over. I didn't finish packing and they handled it all without missing a beat. They took great care with my belongings, wrapping everything and being careful not to damage anything. I was very concerned about my piano, and they handled it easily. Moving in was just as easy. They put things where I wanted them and reassembled everything. I can't recommend them highly enough. They were fun and easy to be around, chatting as they worked. They took a very stressful situation and made it easy! Don't hesitate to hire them! read more

I never write reviews, but I think I owe it to RA movers. Thanks so much to Lucy and her family for the great job they did moving us from Boston to Durham. Lucy has always been available and gave me the best price. A week prior to the move she and her husband visited us to estimate the weight of the move and the day of the move James and his coworkers loaded our place. They were professional, polite and quick. The day after they unloaded the truck in our new place in Durham. Nothing was damaged during the move! I strongly recommend RA movers, and will definitely use them again. They made the move easy for us for a very reasonable price! Thanks :) read more

Since this was our first move in over 37 years, it was very important to us to find a reliable company. James and Rasheen were professional, polite and genuine. The whole house was packed up and ready to go in record time. They had the daunting task of driving from Connecticut to South Carolina and would be there ahead of us. There was no doubt in my mind, they would unload our belongings with as much care as they packed them up. I highly recommend RA Movers to anyone who is moving hundreds or thousands of miles away! read more

Highly recommended! Thank you Tony, Tyler, and Rasheen from RA Movers. They even arrived early. They were professional and efficient, and took extra care of my antiques as well as my numerous irreplaceable family heirlooms. They even asked if placement of my furniture was acceptable before leaving, and offered to make adjustments if I needed. Everything went smoothly. Tony, Tyler, and Rasheen your hard work made my move easier. I thank you all for your care. I highly recommend RA Movers. read more

Hired this company for an elderly friend who needed help at the last minute. The owner went out of his way to help me with a last-minute request. My friend was dealing with some health issues and was not prepared for the movers when they arrived. Seeing the situation, they could have just walked away, but instead they had empathy. They worked with me to help get her furniture moved and did an awesome job. I would definitely use them again and recommend. read more

James returned my message right away and was very clear about the estimate. They confirmed my appointment and were happy to answer any of my questions. On the day of the move they were all very helpful and professional. The move was quick and easy, and when there were a few snags at the new apartment they were able to help me figure things out. I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely be calling them when I move again. Thanks guys! read more

James and his Team were excellent. They moved me on short notice with zero headaches. You always hear about horror stories with movers that charge by the hour then show up with 2 guys and a 4 hour move takes twice as long and cost twice what you thought James told me up front how long the move would take and he came in under the time and was professional and polite the entire time I would use RA movers again and I recommend them highly. read more

I have moved quite a bit and this company has easily been the best I've come across. They had the cheapest prices and the movers were friendly and professional. Usually moving is a disaster and something always gets broken, but that was not the case! I could tell that James and Mike actually cared about my possessions. I have already recommended RA Movers to friends and will not hesitate to hire them when I move again! read more

Hired these guys on short notice, with only about a week beforehand. I went with them not cause they were the cheapest but they offered 3 guys and were willing to work on a Sunday. They showed up on time, moved the stuff in a very efficient way, and were done in two hours. In addition, after they left I realized that there was a problem with my bad frame and one of them came back to fix it. Great moving service! read more

I decided one day before moving that I couldn't really do the move myself without getting VERY stressed. RA Movers took all the stress away with their work! They worked within our budget and were very efficient and professional. Colin and Tyler also seemed to really enjoy their work - they laughed a lot and, again, eased my fiancee and my stress a lot. I would HIGHLY recommend RA Movers! read more

I have never used a moving service but after this experience, I will! They were fast, meticulous, respectful and understanding. His team went above and beyond to help my move go smoothly and painlessly. They even brought some heavy items up into the attic of my new place, even though thats not really part of their job. I was super impressed and would definitely hire them again! read more

Great service. Super efficient, carefully, and friendly. This is our first time to hire RA movers and we thought it was a wonderful decision! Price is very good and I don't even want to use the coupon (for the 1st time using their service) at the end of their service. They're worth to get the whole price w/o discount with this excellent job! read more
