We just moved for the second time in less than six months and used RA movers both times. The first time was out of Boston at the end of August to RI, then again into our new house. Both days weather was not ideal but they ensured our things were protected and were extremely efficient. All the crews both times were extremely accommodating, very nice, and helped me rearrange furniture a million times until it was where I wanted it, which they didn't have to do and really appreciated. I also have a lot of really heavy furniture that I was nervous about but they made it look easy (I'm sure it wasn't!) and we're very careful. I moved in the middle of the corona virus pandemic. It was very stressful on many levels. James was laid back and casual which was very calming in all of my stress. He and his crew arrived and took over. I didn't finish packing and they handled it all without missing a beat. They took great care with my belongings, wrapping everything and being careful not to damage anything. I was very concerned about my piano, and they handled it easily. Moving in was just as easy. They put things where I wanted them and reassembled everything. I can't recommend them highly enough. They were fun and easy to be around, chatting as they worked. I am absolutely amazed by the efficiency and work ethics of this company. After an exhausting search for moving companies I found Jim and his gang that did not ask a detailed list and hours of work to give me a quote. They get payed by a reasonable hourly fee and the moving day, you walk and point what you want to go. They don't ask, they do not put faces, and they do not increase the fee if you point to a ridiculously heavy peace of furniture. They smiled and laughed trough the whole process. Hired this company for an elderly friend who needed help at the last minute. The owner went out of his way to help me with a last-minute request. My friend was dealing with some health issues and was not prepared for the movers when they arrived. Seeing the situation, they could have just walked away, but instead they had empathy. Hired these guys on short notice, with only about a week beforehand. I went with them not cause they were the cheapest but they offered 3 guys and were willing to work on a Sunday. They showed up on time, moved the stuff in a very efficient way, and were done in two hours.
