We highly recommend RA Construction. We recently used them to remodel two bathrooms and also to install luxury vinyl tile in other parts of the house. Reuven, the owner, had two sayings that he said frequently. One was "I don't want you to like it; I want you to love it!" The second was "I want you to be 120% happy." And we are. Reuven was easy to communicate with. His work was high quality and came out very nice. What we appreciated most were Reuven's suggestions about materials to use and his problem solving skills. Every major project has problems lurking behind the walls. Reuven offered good solutions, which demonstrates his experience and creativity. Reuven oversaw all of the work and was at our house several times each day. His workers showed up on time six days a week, and were pleasant to deal with. The project was completed within the time estimate. We were impressed that they protected the floors and stairs with tarps and paper. Reuven even helped us when our van broke down several miles from home while it was loaded with construction materials for our project. Reuven transported us, and the materials, back to our house. Rueven and his crew did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. Him and his wife worked with us on various options to help us pick a design that we were very happy with. There were a few unforeseen issues that were found during the remodel (leaking pipes underneath the house) that were addressed and repaired for a reasonable price. After you read my 5-Star review and view the before & after photos, you will see that Reuven and his crew were absolutely amazing from start to finish with the renovation our home. First of all, I found RA Construction on Yelp because my other appointment with a different contractor never showed up. I called Reuven and I'm so glad we connected. He made himself available even though I was on a tight timeline and could only meet on a certain day. We knew the moment we met and did a free consult with Reuven that we were going to give him and his crew the job. This was no ordinary job, lots of moving parts within a very short timeline to finish the project. He and his team had about 3 mos to complete everything before we moved in and they exceeded our expectations. We originally thought we would only renovate certain parts of the house but we ended up renovating the entire house. We decided on new flooring throughout the whole house, renovation on 2 bathrooms (guest and master), new paint throughout the interior of the house, removal of popcorn ceiling (yes this house was built in 1976), new lighting, ceiling fans, backyard fence, gate and not to mention the late add (by us) of renovating the fireplace and the entire kitchen. Rueven is the man. He stands by his work and if something doesn't come out perfect he tears it down and does it again. He's very honest, reliable and his prices exceed all other contractors. I had 2 bids before contacting R.A. general contractor the were $80,000 and $90,000 for renovating all of our bathroom and upstairs. Out of the two earlier bids Costco came in at $80,000 which was the cheapest of the two, but after listening to about a hour presentation both contractors stated we have and pay for them, we had to go and pick all the materials which would have added about $25,000 to both bids. That took us a back. When we accepted Reuven's bid at $65,000 not only was it about 40% cheaper but his wife Irina is an educated interior designer. Thank goodness for her as she spent a lot of time with us and helped put everything together at no extra charge. if you don't go with him I believe your making a huge mistake. Reuven was referred to me by my friend Toni. He had already done extensive work for her and her neighbors. I initially was looking only for someone to change my shower valve but was delighted to find out Reuven could undertake my whole bathroom project. I had a leak in my shower pan and this leaked through the floor into my laundry room ceiling from the second floor. I ended up with a whole new bathroom. Reuven was hands on helping me through the entire process. He drove me to the tile places, He counseled me on the different types of materials and He purchased materials for me. He was a great problem solver having to redo a lot of plumbing and to measure and make sure the new cabinets were perfectly positioned.for my older home where the wall was not quite straight. His worker was truly an artist. He took time to match the pattern of the tiles in such a pleasing, aesthetic way. I got new bathroom wall tiles and floor tiles I got new cabinets a new countertop a new texture and paint job for my bathroom and a new blue basin sink. Reuven had an attention to the little details also helping me hang a new mirror and put on a new toilet seat. Nothing escaped his watchful eye. Reuven did not cut corners. He was hands on making sure everyone who worked for him from Casemiro who did the majority of the work,to the man who installed my frameless shower door were on time and performed their job to the highest standards. I contacted Reuven For an estimate. We have a rental house in Colton and a car ran into the side of it and damaged the house. There was extensive damage to the floor rafters with the impact. We agreed on a price being that it was an insurance job and Reuven brought his crew in and removed approximately a 15 X 30 foot area of floor to replace the floor Joyce and the plywood flooring. The lath and plaster from the impact was very loose in most of the rooms including the bathroom bedroom and living room which had to be replaced. The walls in the area had to be reframed new drywall and paint. Reuven did a complete remodel of the bathroom that really came out nice. What I liked about Reuven was that he worked with you to complete the job in a timely manner. read more

Highly recommend and unparalleled service! My home had a slab leak back in November 2021 that caused major damage and resulted in a need for a complete home makeover. After months of going back and forth with insurance and getting quotes from other contractors, I was exhausted. Other contractors quoted me 12-16 weeks to complete the renovations (we remodeled the entire house!) and had 6 weeks of lead time. In addition, other contractors were simply "out of stock" on many of the cabinets/flooring I was interested in installing.
