It took them 4 times to get the right rotors and brake pads to me. They finally got it right but by then, I was over the edge. Cant say much about the product because I just installed everything. I know people make mistakes but come on, 4 mistakes in a row....I was ready to send everything back and go somewhere else...... Ordered front rotors,pads,and hardware. Took 9 days to get here. Not a big deal, but when it gets here after 9 days everything should be there. Started opening the box and all I have are 2 rotors and the hardware....come on guys! Get it together. I called customer service who was extremely nice, so no issue there, but she stated that she could put it on the rush list and it might get here by the weekend. I'm not very hopeful of that see how it took 9 days to get here the first time. I won't use them again. Positive notes: customer service, easy to order online. Extremely Negetive notes: All the stuff you paid for probably won't get there till last minute, and everything is probably not in the box. No overnight for their shipping teams screw ups. Rotors and Pads are finally broken in. I bought the elite or PRO line (forgot but it's the black centers) and it seems to perform really well (expected to warped or crack because it was cheap but it didn't) but the posi-quiet pads are very soft for my taste. They are not very useful when cold so the brake bites a little too late. I would only recommend those pads for racing on a track were you have to brake a lot between turns or from going 120+ down to 60mph. I would suggest they offer semi metallic brake pads since most people replace their rotors and pads the same size as stock and brake in short small bursts. I would like my pads and rotors to heat up just a little more for street use. 3 stars because they never asked which pads I like or told me which ones they had. I just walked into the store and said I want to buy a set of front and rear rotors and pads. Next time when I need pads I will hit up R1 Concept again for some semi metallic pads. read more

There's no other place I would go to for oem /aftermarket rotors. I own a 2011 sti and they come factory with brembo rotors and pads. From my experience with r1 products, they are just as good if not better. The prices beat anyone out there any the staff is super friendly. I bought the drilled and slotted e line rotors and pads for my Lincoln Navigator and recently on a long slow down hill drive through a park doing 30 mph the car in front of me stopped suddenly to avoid wildlife and my brakes faded out completely and I leaned on the horn to make them move or I would have hit them with my wife and two kids in the truck . When I called customer service I wanted a full refund and I will put stock brakes back on but I went over the warranty by a couple of months and was told sorry ,too late. When I purchased the order they sent the wrong parts twice so it was actually months from the time of purchase till I received the correct parts and installed them so in my mind they are still under warranty. READ THIS FIRST... Full kit front/rear pads/rotors Not sure where these good reviews come from but after riding with these for 5000-10000 miles i realize they have failed miserably. I assume the rotors are warped based on the symptoms, who knows what else. visually things look fine but wow, what a mess when i actually need to use my brakes. shaking, moaning subtle grinding. Totally disappointing. Wouldn't consider another R1 concept purchase no matter the price. Being that i already have to replace at the least the rotors im putting out more then i would for a real top of the line kit. YES, I tried contacting R1 several times via emails that were right on time pre purchase but post purchase? zero response with any issues i have had with this set. Last Monday I got a call from Joe at R1 Concepts (I had already reordered Brake pads and Rotors from Auto Anything and was assured they were in stock and would be shipped out Monday). I had a lengthy conversation with Joe and felt he was very open in discussing the issue, brakes in general and doing business as R1 Concepts. In the end he acknowledged they had "dropped the ball" on not contacting me about the delay and stating that he wanted to have an opportunity to secure my business, because he felt his product was great and that notwithstanding this exception, they were very focused on customer service. The cost of the same brake package from R1 Concepts was over $100 less and the rotors were machined with "slots" which is supposed to improve the stopping power. All in all, more value for less money with R1 Concepts. I agreed to his offer and called to cancel my other order. Too late, the items had already been shipped, but they agreed to take them back but I had to pay the return shipping (Fair enough, I think). This time Joe kept me up to date on the status of the Rotors and Pads and they were delivered as promised. They are installed on the car and are doing their job. I'll post other updates as I put some miles on the car. Joe did a great job and although I had a delay of over a week with my car "breakless", once Joe "got on it", things went well and I'm now open to contacting them first, when I next need brakes. read more

Do not buy from this company. I purchased brakes and rotor system for my 2016 infiniti qx60. Six sets of brake pads later (1 set which was given to me by this company), the rotors continue to damage brakepads within a 6 week time frame(no excess driving nor braking). They send me a "warranty set of rotors" but the brakepads arent included, how convenient . If you are going to sell a product make sure is grade A quality, not grade C for crap. You'll bypass this review and then regret overlooking it later. read more

Thank god for R1 Concepts! It was a nightmare trying to get the right rotors for my car. Auto Zone and O'Reilly both order the wrong rotors twice! I even gave them my VIN and still they sent me the wrong rotors. But not R1, First order was dead on. R1 rotors are way better quality and cheaper than AZ / OR.
