Came here to pick up my first set of R1 Concepts rotors and pads and never left! LITERALLY

After a while of going back and forth with them having some issues, the manager personally called me this morning. He apologized about the inconvenience and delay of my order. He explained my order was being held up because they did not have rear brake pads and would not be able to get them for a month or two. He offered me a full refund for my order and they would still ship me everything else that was in stock. They were always nice on the phone but I'm very pleased with their customer service this time around. read more

Thanks R1, you have proven me wrong, looking forward to future business with you! This is my first and last time doing business with R1. I'll start by saying yes there customer service is great, however, what their website states and what their reps say are two completely different things. Website states " brake parts ship within 24-48 hours". Wrong, I contacted R1 about my order and was told they don't stock anything for quality purposes, fine. But, was told that since I ordered through the website that my order takes longer to get to their system, than if I was to call... How was I supposed to know that, their website seemed very convenient. Anyways, so then they told me my order was being made which takes 3-4 business days, and would get a tracking number once it ships. Today is the 5th day and still haven't received tracking. Very frustrating since shipping will take an additional 2-3 days. All in all, it could take about 2 weeks to receive my order. I do not recommend them at ALL! I could have gone through a different company and would have had my parts by now. Very disappointing, heard a lot of good things about them but this wasn't the case for me. If you ever need rotors, pads ect. Don't go through R1! You will be waiting weeks for your parts! And don't let customer service sweet talk you, they'll tell you what you wanna hear and lie about when you'll receive your order! Would NEVER recommended them to anyone! read more

I genuinely appreciate this company. I made an error on which brakes I wanted and I emailed the company expecting that they would ignore me and I'd be out $150. But the company emailed me within the hour and began to help me solve the issue. I did have to pay for the shipping back because it was MY error and the company shouldn't have to pay for a customer error but they're shipping the new brakes for free. I really appreciate the professionalism and I would recommend them to others. Just order the correct brakes the first time! lol read more

purchased rotor and brake pad and brake fluid for my Lexus on 10-15-2015, the website stated even item back order, order will be back in stock and ship out in 2 to 3 business days, so i asked for tracking number on 10-20, they said the order will be shipped out on 10-21, so i waited for another day Next day i asked again, they said one of the rotor still back order, i was like oh okay, then i waited for another 2 days, which is 10-24, asked for tracking number again, they still have not shipped my order yet, and told me system problem, they were fixing it, this time i asked for a discount due to the late shipment, they issued 10% off discount for me. After that, i waited for another 3 business days, which is 10-28, still no tracking number, i cannot wait anymore, i decided to cancel my order and get the full refund, hopefully refund will back to my card in 2 business days (today is the second business day) umum...i don't think i will recommend this company to my friends, although they have nice customer services, but not accurate inventory will cause more back order issue and a lot of impatient customers in the future, highly recommended they do an inventory count at least once a month, and do not put any item that has no inventory on sell read more

I recently decided to check out their store front and I did wait for a longer time then I expected (during covid-19) so keep that in mind. Kevin helped me and answered a bunch of my questions and didn't so much as complain with me asking prices on different rotors they offer. He also answered my question of "If slotted is out of stock can you just machine me some using a blank rotor?" And yes they can! Glad to know the manufacturing is done in house! Thanks again guys! I went to R1 about 5 years ago and bought a pair of drilled and slotted rotors for my 05 civic, i never thought i would see a huge difference, man was i wrong.. i still have the same rotors on the car and they work great... amazing quality, customer service is amazing too. i will definitely be coming back the day i need new rotors for any car. i would highly recommend R1 to anyone looking to upgrade brakes!! read more

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service, I ordered a front and back brake kit for my e60 and receive the wrong size rotors. When I contacted R1 and told them my situation they initially seemed helpful and said they can get me the correct rotor size but the wait time to receive the return label was ridiculous, I waited almost 3 weeks for a response from them. I tried to reach out to them plenty of times with no help they just kept giving me the runaround. I finally took the initiative and paid for the return label myself thinking I would easily get reimbursed due to the mistake being at their end but that wasn't the case at all. My last contact with them was to cancel my order and ask for a full refund shipping included and to my surprise, they refused to cover the shipping cost and only refunded me the cost of both break kits. I don't understand, $60 dollars worth of shipping cost, cost them a customer and a sale. Get it together R1. read more

This company has excellent customer service!! I ordered some parts online incorrectly and spoke to them over the phone. I live close by so I dropped in for the exchange. As soon as I walked in the door the first person who seen me asked me how they can help. They directed me to the correct person who was friendly and assisted me. Great products. I replaced my 06 Honda Accord Coupe front and rear rotors and brakes. Everything is working. The cross drilled skirted rotors are money. I should have done this a long tome ago. Picked up some drilled and slotted rotors and posiquiet brake pads from them 9 months back. Good quality rotors and brake pads were excellent. One of the best things about their rotors are that they are durable. I had new rims installed and Econo TIre (a horrible shop do not recommend anyone going there) forgot to put in the hub centric ring so the wheels were shaking on the freeway. I drove on it for about 3-4 days and typically the rotors would be warped beyond repair BUT not R1's rotors, had them resurfaced and have been driving on them for the last 4 months with no shakes or vibrations. read more

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! They sent me the wrong size rotors twice! The first time was understandable because mistakes happen. But the second time really upset me as I had to pay the body shop a THIRD time for the labor to install. I tried to call the customer service department many times and they chose to completely avoid me.
