Cut little restaurant right of the main drag. I had the carbonara, bacon, peas, pasta & a rich cream sauce. Filling & delicious. Two garlic panini toast included. My buddy had the salad special with chicken & balsamic vinegar dressing. Said it was outstanding & we left with empty plates. Good beer selection on tap & friendly service.

I searched yelp for a salad.. R.Spot has a fantastic Caesar salad.. The pasta with a few extra peas was more than enough for 2 people. So come hungary and enjoy the conversation with the owner. And enjoy the conversations with the locals.

For starters, this business tried appearing as if they were closed before the posted business hours, which makes no sense to me. Second, upon entering you can feel that your business is not so much wanted unless you're a local or regular there. Third, we ordered 2 personal pastas for $50 total, and they couldn't even manage to get both pasta orders right (we got takeout). The build your own pasta with the angel hair was supposed to have a garlic sauce, not Alfredo, like mine pictured with the penne. We taste tested to confirm. same sauces. We also weren't able to or get any help because five minutes before the " posted closing time" the phone went to voicemail almost immediately. Even locals we have talked to say this location is overpriced, and not the best and they would rather travel to Olive Garden in the next town.

Cute little joint in downtown Sisters. Friendly staff and tasty food. I can't speak to the authenticity of the Italian food but it's got good portions and is delicious! Carbonara was creamy and flavorful. They let me sun angel hair pasta which was nice of them. I heard the sandwich (Italian Tornado) was good too! There are a few outdoor seats with heaters that the staff is willing to turn on for you. Will definitely be back next time I'm visiting.

    Carbonara (split portion)

Our fam of 4 loved our lunch! We stopped here passing through Sisters on our way to Bend. The owner is friendly and nice and gave the kids coloring sheets that they enjoyed coloring while we waited for our food. The food was ready pretty quickly! The portions were large and he offered to split the adult portion of the carbonara which was a perfect portion for my husband and I for lunch. Everything was delicious- we all cleaned our plates and the kids had just a little bit leftover. Our family loves pasta and it definitely hit the spot. Seating is limited so not for groups more than 4 max. Its more of a bar environment but still ok for a small family. It seems like a nice place to have a drink. The bathroom was neat and clean as well. Overall we are happy we stopped here and would definitely come again if we pass through. Delicious!

While walking around Sister doing a little shopping we came across this place. These where some of the best sandwiches I have had. I say it's a must try and must go back.

This is the first Italian food I've had that is gluten free and dairy free and tastes exactly like the real deal! Plus there were SEVERAL options to choose from! This picture does not do it justice. I had the gluten free pasta with the spaghetti and meatballs dish on our first trip, and the Capellini (with an added meatball) on the second trip. Plus, they swapped out gluten free bread and used olive oil for the delicious garlic bread (with real chopped garlic)! Also, fresh basil was sprinkled on everything. The portions were huge and we ended up getting two meals out of each dish ordered. This is definitely now on our list of "must visit" every time we drive through Sisters!

Lucy had a great time here as well.

The combination of the white sauce, mushrooms, herbs, and lemon was perfection. I would gladly eat it again but I'd also want to try out some of their other flavor combinations! The pizzas here are a little pricier at around $20 per pizza (individual 10 inch size) but honestly, based on what I tasted, they are worth it. Just don't come here looking to feed your family for cheap. But if you're just looking for amazing pizza, this is the place to go!

The guy…read moreworking the truck was great, answering all our questions and letting us heavily customize a pizza. The pizza came out pretty quickly, piping hot. The perimeter crust was cooked perfectly (as you can see in most of the pics) and the toppings were plentiful. As my wife and I bit into our first slice, we both agreed it was really good. My half was basically the sausage and pepper pizza with Calabrian chiles added. I also opted for sausage only. The flavors went so well together and the icing on top was the fresh oregano! I also really enjoyed the texture of the sausage. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars (but wish I could give it 4.5 stars) was that the majority of the bottom of the crust was coated in oil. I don't mind the flavor of the oil, it just made the pizza floppy, challenging to eat the 1st half of each slice, and a mess. I'm hoping a subsequent visit will yield different results. That being said, I'm looking forward to returning. We're kind of a one-trick pony when it comes to dining in Sisters, but this place is going in the mix!

He sweats and pushes us to order and eat fast, doing that waiter thing when they pretend they are not rushing you. "Just checking if you need that plate taken away." Not fooling anyone. Brusque to my brother who is into fine wines and requested tastes of some by-the-glass wines before committing to a glass or a bottle. My wife stated she is uncomfortable around the server. We don't go to the Open Door much now. Old review. A real romantic spot. Great drinks. My wife loves it. Sitting outside is best but the bar is good too. Some nights they put tables in the art gallery out front and you sit around the paintings and jewelry, kind of fun. There used to be a waitress named Kristen or Kirsten, a lady with long hair and clogs, the best server I've ever had and I don't just mean in Central Oregon. The Open Door is the probably the best dining experience in Sisters. Living in Tumalo and working throughout Oregon, I go to Sisters often. Unfortunately Sisters isn't a great town for food. The Open Door has some very-good food, and some pretty-good food. You never know which it's going to be. The halibut, meatballs, and lasagnas are solid. Berries and cream dessert is great. The menu doesn't change much over the years. If my wife didn't love it I wouldn't go back so often. Get bored eating the same dishes over and over. When my brother and his grown kids visit they like the atmosphere, especially those small houses outside with the plants. However they have trouble finding a selection that works for their way of eating, allergies, one is vegan and one is lactose intolerant.
