While passing through Sisters, I saw this place and decided to try it out. I must say I am glad I did, cause it was fire! The pizza was bomb. Definitely one of the best wood fire pizzas I've ever had. The service was fast and friendly. The seating area had an outdoorsy vibe to it and it was in the same area of the Barn. If you are in the area I would highly recommend you try this place out.

From Portland to Sisters, first stop has to be Boone Dog pizza for an incredible and delish pie. Starts with organic dough, wood fired thin crust is perfect. We loved the sausage, mushroom and potato - so scrumptious many. Boone Dog sources local and organic veggies and meats. We've enjoyed pizzas by a hand-full or more of James Beard award chefs, specializing in pizza dough - and you know - honestly Boone Dog pie is good as any and maybe the tops! Do what you do Boone Dog-er's - love ya pizza! Love the local and organic ingredients!

Really enjoyed the food and the service. I forget the name of the guy working the truck when I showed up but he was so awesome and had the food out asap! Spent a few days in Oregon and he was the nicest local I met also- the food isn't $20+ per person like every other expensive price tagged, middle of the road food like most places in Oregon. If I ever travel back to this city I WILL be eating here again!

We went back! This time I got ! Just as awesome the second time around. If I have to offer a criticism it would be more pizza options.

The Best pizza in central Oregon. Great staff and thank you for existing. As someone who makes their own homemade pizza. These guys know the game.

I saw that there was wood fired pizza close by, and we were staying up the road so I had to have. The Barn was packed last night, and Boone Dog seemed to be the busiest truck. The line wasn't too long, but there were clearly loads of pizzas being fired ahead of us so the wait was pretty long. We ordered 2 special pepperonis, mine without olives. The crust was FAB and the taste superb. Honestly one of the best tasting pizzas I've had in a long while. A tad bummed that the topping distribution wasn't the best: all my onions in the very center and one slice pretty much just sauce...and no parsley at all on our pies. For $16 I want my parsley. Overall we really enjoyed our pies. Even with the parsley omission the flavor and cook were great, I'm guessing they were just rushing a bit on a busy Saturday night.

My wife and I had the pepperoni pizza. Fantastic pie! Perfect amount of cheese, good sauce, spicy pepperoni. The best is the wood fired crust. Light, airy, but crunchy! Thanks, Boone Dog Pizza!!!

Great beer and ambiance in Sisters, OR!

Most of my ratings are great because I don't spend time rating things that aren't fabulous most of the time! This place has it all - small town charm, great beer, fun outdoor atmosphere and delicious small plates. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice day and were enjoying our excellent service for quite some time. Don't miss this stop on your next trip to Sisters, OR. We could have stayed all day.

    Vegan pizza

I was very excited to try this place, since I live in Terrebonne there aren't a lot of options. My housemate ordered the vegan pizza for me, which is supposed to come with mushrooms and olives. There were no mushrooms and olives only sparse red onions and soggy greens. I even tried to call twice to chat with someone before posting to figure out if something could be done but there was no answer. I believe on the message it says something to the effect of "to come in person to order something and we'll be happy to help you." I'm just really disappointed to pay $16 for the saddest looking pizza I've ever seen. Will never return to this establishment since I'm literally paying for tomato sauce bread with soggy greens on it.

Pepperoni and spicy (some name I can't remember. Had chili sauce and garlic on top I think ‍, it was delicious)

Best pizza in town, by far! Maybe the best in Central Oregon. Try the Quattro Fromagio or one of the ever-changing specials.

Since moving out of Oregon, we haven't been able to make it back as often as we'd like, but I've never forgotten that first visit -- meeting the owner, falling in love with their hot seasoning spice (which they gifted me to take home!), and becoming obsessed with the homemade chili oil. Last night (11/20/25), we finally returned, and I'm happy to say the food is still just as wonderful. The flavors were exactly as we remembered. Our favorites this time were the Shapta and the Chau Chau -- both absolutely delicious. We ordered and shared everything family-style: * Momos - handmade dumplings * Shapta - beef dish * Chau Chau - noodle dish * Masu Bhat - chicken curry Most dishes came with a small side salad and jasmine rice. The ordering process is casual and easy: place your order at the counter, grab a table, and they'll buzz you when the food is ready. The staff then brings everything right to your table. The ambience is warm, inviting, and cozy. Even though it was 32° outside, they still had a wood fire going, which made for such a pretty and welcoming touch. High Camp continues to be a gem in Sisters -- absolutely worth the visit every time.

He sweats and pushes us to order and eat fast, doing that waiter thing when they pretend they are not rushing you. "Just checking if you need that plate taken away." Not fooling anyone. Brusque to my brother who is into fine wines and requested tastes of some by-the-glass wines before committing to a glass or a bottle. My wife stated she is uncomfortable around the server. We don't go to the Open Door much now. Old review. A real romantic spot. Great drinks. My wife loves it. Sitting outside is best but the bar is good too. Some nights they put tables in the art gallery out front and you sit around the paintings and jewelry, kind of fun. There used to be a waitress named Kristen or Kirsten, a lady with long hair and clogs, the best server I've ever had and I don't just mean in Central Oregon. The Open Door is the probably the best dining experience in Sisters. Living in Tumalo and working throughout Oregon, I go to Sisters often. Unfortunately Sisters isn't a great town for food. The Open Door has some very-good food, and some pretty-good food. You never know which it's going to be. The halibut, meatballs, and lasagnas are solid. Berries and cream dessert is great. The menu doesn't change much over the years. If my wife didn't love it I wouldn't go back so often. Get bored eating the same dishes over and over. When my brother and his grown kids visit they like the atmosphere, especially those small houses outside with the plants. However they have trouble finding a selection that works for their way of eating, allergies, one is vegan and one is lactose intolerant.
