This is hands down the best food in sisters no doubt about it other than the porch which is a fine dining restaurant a few blocks down the road which happens to be the same owners ok first of all let's start with how it is Italian take out that alone is a seller for me I don't know about you but who does t like Italian food and it is take out that is awesome! But the quality of the food is another story it is easily the yummiest food .I have tried in sisters so far I have tried almost everything hehe I can't stop myself I keep going back my favorite thing is there Cubano , I mean you are missing out you need to try this the prices range from 10-20$ I think i honestly don't care it is well worth the price! And not to mention there customer service is always amazing and they now have beer and wine so you know one stop shop for an amazing dinner, or lunch! read more

Delicious Italian Delight in Sisters! R Spot in Sisters, Oregon, is a tiny haven for Italian food enthusiasts. Chef Norman works magic with his lasagna and Spaghetti Carbonara, both of which are absolutely divine. The portions are so generous that you'll likely have leftovers for a second night. Chef Norman's passion for Italian cuisine shines through in every dish, making each one a culinary masterpiece. The take-and-bake options are a convenient touch for those busy days. Just be mindful of their operating hours - closed on Sundays and Mondays, and closing at 5 pm on Saturdays. Despite the limited hours, the experience is so delightful that it's definitely worth planning around. R Spot is a must-try for anyone craving a taste of Italy in the heart of Sisters, Oregon! #ItalianCuisine #FoodieFinds #HiddenGem #RSpoItaliano #SistersEats #CulinaryGem read more

We Love this Place I have an addiction to the Panini's they are so fresh and delicious. The lasagna is on point and huge (in fact all the pastas the family has had are like two portions). They have a great beer selection and sell beer to go and a most of the menu is available to go cold to heat up later at home for lunch or dinner and a plus is they stay OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT no joke in a town that shuts down early its great to have this in town. Fresh, colorful, beautifully plated food with true options for everyone (vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, fish, meat). Beet salad was incredible, plus great appetizers (scallops/Brussels sprouts) and family-style entrées for our group. The venue is gorgeous and full of meaningful art (including the owner/artist's work). The standout was the hospitality-Sharon (founder), Rhonda, and the team were warm, present, and genuinely engaged with us. If you're in Sisters or nearby, do not miss The Open Door.

This was my second visit to Sisters. I decided to go to The Open Door for dinner. I ordered the…read morepasta dish for $25 which was supposed to come with [a] " white wine blue cheese sauce, chicken, fresh cherry tomatoes and chopped basil". I also ordered the $3 baguette and a mocktail for $10. The pasta dish was a massive disappointment. I had to search for the chicken such was the limited amount in the dish. There was a minimal amount of cherry tomatoes. The supposed "white wine blue cheese sauce" was missing from the pasta also. There was no Parmesan Reggiano cheese offered at the onset or freshly ground pepper. Perhaps The Open Door is not that kind of culinary experience. I rarely complain when I visit restaurants as I try to do my due diligence before I go. I spoke with the waitress, manager and one other lady who came by to check on me. I was told they could bring me some more tomatoes, etc. However, the dish should have contained sufficient ingredients to warrant its description which it didn't. Pasta is one of the cheapest mainstays in the restaurant business, but The Open Door's pasta dish took this to a whole new low. As for the baguette, I was given four tiny half slices of bread and not a baguette. In hindsight, I would have been better served going to the Sisters Smokehouse and Deli and ordering their Tri-Tip Sandwich - which is delicious BTW- than wasting my $ here at The Open Door.

We enjoyed it the first time, but this visit really confirmed that it's one of our favorite places to eat when we're here. Between the six of us, we ordered the chili verde, Mandarin chicken salad, Margherita pizza, BBR BLTA, cheeseburger, and turkey sandwich. Everyone genuinely enjoyed their meal. In fact, there wasn't a single dish that drew anything less than an enthusiastic thumbs up from around the table. One thing I like about Lakeside Bistro is that it's more than just a restaurant. There's a small market and gift shop connected to the dining area, so it's fun to wander around a bit before heading out. Or let the order taker know, as they are informed on modifications and whatnot. So he ate the salad and done pizza. I ate most of the steak and veggies. Everything tasted really good. The steak was a bit gristly. But the chimichurri was great. My absolute favorite thing was the elote cake with tajin buttercream. It was not a sweet cake. But it was heavenly. I should have grabbed another piece before we left. It was creative and salty and delicious and I still want it two days later. Service was great. Food is brought out as it's ready, not all at once.
