    Sliders

Since I was here last, they definitely modernized/nice-ified this place. It's not really a market anymore. But there's a nice bar inside and tables and even an indoor bathroom now. The food menu is a little bit more creative (which isn't always a good thing), but they got rid of some of my favorite things like sliders and the beer cheese soup. This time I tried the nachos which were fine - a little skimpy on the meat and the chimichurri sauce was an odd addition that leaned more towards being a pesto and was quite oily. Also fried the chips and dip - the cheese dip was nice but the pico de gallo was definitely not pico de gallo. It was basically giardiniera and did not taste good. I also tried the burrito bowl. This was probably the best thing I tried. The salmon I added was very fresh and flavorful. The rice was quite tasty! It was by no means traditional Mexican tasting but it was still tasty. It needs to come in a bigger bowl or come mixed though. You order up front and the food is brought to you. The first time they forgot my beer. It always takes a long time to get food despite the menu being pretty small. Also I really wish they had actual breakfast. Saying you can add egg to a burger and that is "breakfast" doesn't count!!

We've had breakfast and dinner here and just love it. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy and fun. We especially loved the live music in the back on summer evenings.

We stopped here for some espresso and pulled pork nachos. And glad we did. Both were good, not exceptional but good in flavor and quantity. The espresso was hot. They have a big outside area to sit and eat/drink but we were inside. Plenty of room there as well. The service was friendly. And the inside looks cute.

Hit your brakes and pull in to this place! Grab a beer and order the nachos! I promise just do it! Life changing nachos. This place is a gem right off the highway.

This place is great!! It has a new owner and he is doing a great job. He has updated the building with new citing and build an outdoor seating in the back where you can hangout. They have an awesome food cart there with great food. If you go there to eat get the sliders really good and try the onion rings.

After hiking blue pool this afternoon we decided to stop in and grab a quick bite with no real expectations. First positive is they allow in well behaved dogs in the courtyard. Second is the food is delicious, and very affordable considering the location on this place. I can imagine this place during the height of summer popping with people traveling to and back from Central Oregon. Such a great stop and glad I tried it before moving away from the valley of western central oregon.

Outstanding food and atmosphere! Free wifi, great burgers, specials, vegetarian and vegan options. French fries and onion rings are A+. You can bring your whole family, there is something on the menu for everyone. This is not your typical truck stop!! Beyond the thoughtful home made food they also have a great selection of beer, wine and groceries. This is a must stop between Eugene and Bend!

New owners, working successfully to upgrade this old Highway 126 landmark. Fresh produce, great beers and wines, food cart and courtyard outside.

Great spot we found on our walk about a mile from our campsite. It's a cozy spot with friendly service, great coffee, and dog friendly!

We eat there about every time we go up Hwy 126; you don't have to drive to Eugene or Sisters to find a good meal.

What a fabulous find ! Spotted their sign from the road and drove into their driveway. Once inside…read morethe building, my eyes immediately went to the luscious baskets of freshly picked strawberries. Their fragrance was overwhelming and I had to have a 3 pack then and there. Passed the tase test with flying colors! Also noticed the freshest basil I have ever seen at a farm stand. And now, I can say, it was more than amazing in our tomato sauce. Wonder how they kept it so fresh? The farm also sells honey, organic popsicles, dried blue and assortment veggies. June brings blueberries picking time. Imagine, organic berries that you can pick. I'd do it in a heartbeat if we were in the area. This is a must see if you enjoy tasteful organic produce.

This is a really neat organic farm on the way to the Cougar Hot Springs…read more My friend was planning to take me blueberry picking here after our dip in the hot springs, but alas... blueberry picking season was over! Fortunately, the nice lady manning the shop said we were still welcome to try the shriveled up berries and look around the farm. My friend and I really enjoyed seeing all the fruit trees, strawberries, rainbow chard (beautiful!), etc. The little shop with fresh farm fares was nice as well. They sell local honey and blueberry popsicles (they were $2 and so-so... I would pass on them if I were torn about whether to try them or not). In any case, the folks here are really nice. They offered my friend and me a slice of watermelon the farmers had been trying; I was warned that it was the tail end of watermelon season so they wouldn't be that great, but it was good enough. Also, apparently, the head farmer is only 26 and from Chicago. So random!
