This is the best beverage store in town. I know, I'm always a big supporter of liquor stores which may make my judgement questionable, but 3rd Street Beverage has the best selection in town. Top that off with knowledgable and friendly staff and you've got yourself a go-to liquor store that never disappoints. Great beer selection organized by type and region. Big selection of Bend breweries which I appreciate. And they've got this great selection of gifts, barware, party favors, etc. I will say that I did quite a bit of non-liquor related holiday shopping here. The owner is often on the floor, engaged and ready to help with suggestions, or tracking something down. I do always check the "sandwich board" outside that has cocktail recipes on it, they always look amazing. I've also seen that they also sell kegs on the backside of the property.

All non-alcoholic!!!

The best beverage store!! I have never seen such a selection of non-alcoholic liquors, wines, champagne -- blew my mind. They have everything you found ever want/need beverage-wise here and the staff is incredible, super friendly and knowledgeable. Even when this place gets a line going the staff keeps things moving quickly. Can't say enough good things about this place. They have me as a customer for life! Thank you!!

Used to be if you wanted to buy liquor and lived on Bend's West Side you had but one choice on this…read moreside of town - a teeny tiny (150 square feet shoppable) space partitioned off inside Ray's Market on SW Century Drive. Whenever my husband and I were in the Ray's located liquor store, we tried to get in and out as fast as possible because it felt so claustrophobic. Not to mention that due to its small size, the number of shoppers allowed inside was limited to something like only six at a time. Because the small size meant small stocks, we often drove over to the East Side liquor store if we were looking for something. Seems we weren't the only shoppers to do that as sales were declining at the small West Bend liquor store inside Rays. So the owner was successful in having the store moved. And it is with "yay!" response that we visited the newly relocated West Bend Liquor Store today. Just opened in a strip mall at 155 SW Century Drive, this liquor store now boasts roughly 4000 square feet! That means lots of stock to choose from for spirits and mixers. Although they don't seem to be completely stocked up as yet, they already have a nice selection of brand choices for spirits across price points For mixers they carry some harder to find items like Bitter Lemon and Fee Bros Bitters...and so goes the list. Not to mention that the store has a cool and comfy looking seating area, complete with faux fireplace and bar in which they offer tastings from time to time. If you want to stay posted on what is being offered for tastings on what days, sign up on the store's email list. One thing that remains now as it was then is the super friendly and helpful owner and his staff. They can answer any question you might have and make you feel they are really glad you came in. Now with this great liquor store on the West Side, we'll need to find a way to use more spirits! I'm only waiting on them to stock some of the specialty liquors and aperitifs - like Aperol and Navain and Rompope - for a five star rating. But for now it is a very enthusiastic 4 stars!

I think it is disgusting and rude how one of your employees (kaylee) thinks it is okay to take…read morevideos of paying customers while in this establishment. It was brought to my attention that kaylee took a video of herself looking disgusted at one of the establishments patrons. She then focused the camera on the patron who was on the machine gambling (older unknown gentleman) who also happened to have his buttcrack hanging out of his pants. As an employee she is allowed to have her opinions on things, but it is when she takes it a step further and publicly shames her own customers on her personal snap chat that she crosses the line. Might I suggest retraining her or reprimanding her so she understands it isn't professional nor cute to be a bratty judgemental entitled little girl who thinks shes hot shit and has a right to express disgust while also shaming someone who helps pay her bills? Feel free to email me for a screen recording of the said video. Thank you.

$6.50 GROWLER FILLS!?! Local Craft Beers!?! Seriously? This place is amazing! I don't know how they…read moredo it, but I can get a growler filled for $6.50 and they have a great selection. I get Deschutes Brewery's "Fresh Squeezed" for less than I can get it at Deschutes. I can get Boneyard Beer Company's "RPM IPA" for less than I can get it at the Boneyard brewery! The staff is friendly and efficient. I've always been able to walk right up and place my order. A line is unheard of. The inside is nice and clean, and always quiet. I guess this place is using the low-priced growlers to bring in more customers for their lottery and video poker machines. I've never used them, but they seem to always be in use! I mentioned the $6.50 growler fills, (the cheapest in town as far as I can find), but what if you are NEW TO TOWN (like I was) or just visiting and don't have a growler? Oh, no problem, these guys will sell you one AND fill it with your choice of suds for just $8.50! Where else can you buy a growler for $2.00 and have it filled for another $6.50? No where, that's where. Go in and check these guys out. I've talked to the owners a time or two (mom and son team, I think) and they have just taken over ownership earlier this year. I'd love to see the place stick around (for obvious reasons), so the next time you need to get your growler filled, give them a shot! (There weren't any reviews yet, so I thought I'd help them out with some pics too.)
