Great place to eat haven't had a bad meal here yet. Service is always excellent - always greeted with a smile and friendliness - restaurant is always kept clean - table turn is quick even during busy times - good delivery is always within 5-19 mins after ordering without fail - quality if food and ingredients are always top notch - with typical diner fashion quantity of food for the price is always very high - perch was well cooked with juicy flavor taste good hot or cold, tarter sauce has good depth and flavor not your typical bland sauce - omelette was not as juicy as previous ones I've had here but the way it's cooked the ingredients cooked within the eggs is a unique style I've not seen at other places with the cheese folded in the middle, fresh shredded cheese not the bland tasteless sliced cheese used most every other diner a welcome distinction - the ham is sliced deli ham rather than the desired "real" ham cubbed but still good flavor, sausage appears to be a good tasting juicy flavor links cubbed, and bacon is a nice juicy well cooked variation chopped up all together in great quantity providing a quality meat omelette taste with every bite - never just eggs alone either these guys - the potato hash browns in typical diner fashion well cooked and juicy enough flavor profile - the coffee is good here not acidic tasting but also not a unique deep rich coffee I'd wish any great diner like this would consider serving - all in all you can never go wrong when choosing this diner for your finning experience whether it's breakfast, lunch, or diner you will always enjoy a great meal and terrific atmosphere with exceptional service - Bon appetite!!

Definitely a place to visit if you want to take a nostalgic trip into the past. The food and service is amazing, and the atmosphere? Well, it's everything you've come to expect from a diner!

Decided to grab a late lunch at 2:30 pm on a Friday at the parking lot was full! Got seated quickly. Ordered the falafel appetizer with garlic sauce and hummus - very tasty (falafel was a little salty). The pita bread was fresh & soft. Hubby said the chicken fried steak was excellent. Portions are generous. Restaurant is a little older so not much for "a look" and needs a deep clean but overall presentable inside & out. Would definitely come back. Staff was kind

It has been awhile since my last visit. They have great soup and fish. Started with a fantastic bowl of clam chowder soup; cross between potato soup and clam chowder with a chicken broth base - very good! For the main course I had the fried walleye with mashed potatoes and gravy which is always consistently fantastic!

Quite possibly one of the best restaurants in Monroe, delicious breakfasts. Amazing burgers.. and their oasis platter is fantastic.

Congratulations! On tap today was the Cinnamon French Toast Combo with scrambled eggs and jumbo sausage links. It was delicious! I even have some for later to eat at home. Yum! Cynthia, thank you for serving with a smile! You blessed my life. The XM Radio Station selection was right up my alley this morning with tunes from Bill Withers and Gladys Knight & The Pips. Very well kept / maintained. Server was very friendly and attentive. Other staff members were on-point when refilling our drinks and removing empty dishes from the table. We ordered the Wild Mushroom Scramble and the Crab Cake Breakfast Benedict. Wild Mushroom Scramble - wild mushroom blend, asparagus, onions, and swiss cheese $13.50. Crab Cake Benedict - premium house made crab cakes with soft poached eggs over toasted English Muffin, topped with hollandaise $14.75. Both meals were good as far as flavor and quality. Only downside - the food wasn't very warm for as quickly as we received our food. As mentioned earlier in the review, this restaurant was on the smaller side and once it filled up with patrons, the noise level also increased.

It's Cracker Barrel..... if you don't love it, it's you, not them!…read more I can't say enough about it. Great food, not always great for you, at a reasonable price. Anyone on the highways will always pass a Cracker Barrel. If you've never stopped in, give it a go. If you have, then you already know what I mean. I have two "go-to" menu items that I go for one or the other. Momma's French Toast Breakfast or Momma's Pancake Breakfast. I always get a side of their sausage patties because they are phenomenal on their own or, if you're like me, they go great with Cracker Barrel Maple Syrup. The French Toast is light and plentiful. It doesn't have cinnamon which isn't a problem for me, but some people just don't like cinnamon. Although I'll never understand those people, they have a right to their own personal tastes. Butter and Maple Syrup complete the meal beautifully. Cracker Barrel Pancakes are their own. The recipe is good but it's the preparation that is the key. I suspect that they are made on the griddle with a lot of butter. The outside of the cakes are almost fried-like with a little bit of crunch to them. Like the French Toast, the Pancakes paired with generous amounts of Butter and Maple Syrup make these an absolute dream. Cracker Barrel serves Breakfast all day long. They do have Lunch/Dinner items as well, but I've only had a few other things. I can say that their Fried Chicken is also outstanding. They've also got a lot of great sides to choose from. And, if you like, they also have a selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from. I can't list them because I've never ordered any. Given that I'm usually on the road when I stop in, and I'm typically eating a breakfast item, alcohol doesn't mix well with either driving or breakfast. The service is pretty much the same at every Cracker Barrel. Fast and friendly. They have a system down for what they're doing and it seems very consistent from location to location. And then there is the Country Store. If you have a long wait for a table, you'll be able to amuse yourself and kill time by going through the Country Store. You'll find everything from classic candy and toys that you didn't think existed anymore, to clothes, John Deere merch, food, holiday gifts and much more. Would I go back? After going on about it for the last 5 minutes, I want to go back now! Cracker Barrel is great for a quick stop while on the road when you simply don't want fast food garbage or it's great for a family/friend get together. No matter your tastes or eating habits, they will have something for everyone.
