Don't expect your sub to look like the photo. Very skimpy on toppings and generally not very good.

Headline: Poké fun at Pokérrito!…read more Delish food and fantastic service, both of which the kind staff at Pokérrito delivers consistently. Yet to dine in at any of their multiple locations, so can't wait to check experience the ambiance. The lovely handwritten note accompanying our latest delivery order was so sweet! Highly recommend all of their menu items, especially the following: - B.Y.O. Poké Bowl: Fresh, tasty and huuuge! And you get to choose and build your own bowl (unless, of course, you're hangry, in which case you can't go wrong with their Signature Poké Bowls)! (base + protein (2+) +mix-ins + sauces +sides + choice of 5 toppings) - Bulgogi: Juicy, flavorful and yummilicious! Perhaps their best Signature Poké Bowl, and tied for the first place with Aburi! (Marinated Beef, Onion, Cucumber, Pineapple, Sweet Corn, Tempura Crispy, Jalapeño) - Aburi: Lip-smacking good! (Flame Torched Ahi Tuna, Miso Glaze Sauce, Green Onion, Crab meat, Crispy Tempura, Lemon, Alfalfa, Shredded Chili, Furikake) - Tiramisu - Or should I say "TirAHHmisu!".THE BEST! The one and only dessert item they offer, and, frankly speaking, it felt out of place when we saw it on their menu for the very first time. But, in retrospect, so very glad that we ordered it on a whim (case in point: we rarely if ever miss out on a chance to serve and please the true masters - our sweet teeth!) Surprisingly, and I kid you not, it's one of best Tiramisus that the wifey and I have sampled in our dozen years of ordering, dividing and conquering this awesome delicacy at restaurants spanning cities across three continents! In conclusion, any insinuations that we keep going back to Pokérrito mainly or only for their dessert offering, though not completely true, will be tolerated and accepted without any resistance!

Yummy, but messy is what I have to say. I had barely unwrapped it when some of the ingredients started to fall out. It was a messy thing to eat. As I started to bite into it, more stuff started falling out. It was packed with ingredients. They didn't skimp on the ingredients so I appreciated that. Just...very messy to eat. I ate one half, then brought the rest home. Ate the other half for dinner later. Didn't want to bother trying to hold it with my hand again. I put it into a bowl, cut it up and used a spoon to eat it. First and last time eating a Pokerrito from Pokerrito. Way too messy for my taste. I would still go back though and order something that's not a Pokerrito. The poke bowl I tried last time was quite good, and much easier to eat. Plus I was pretty impressed with the mini tiramisu that I had gotten from a different branch of Pokerrito back in August.

Better alternative for healthy eats if you want a quick bite at an affordable value…read more I honestly came in cause I was on the go and I was super hungry but didn't feel like eating fast food. Came in and the people at the counter said the Southwest was a favourite so I just gave it shot. Really great flavours. I would actually come back again for lunch when I'm around the area

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!…read more Wow, just wow. I've been here a few times before and it has never been THIS bad. Today, we went in. The lady behind the counter could hardly understand me. While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.

For happy hour, we got the dips and chips and truffle fries to share. The dips and chips were good with a good variety of dip but I wished there was more dip in the bowls. The truffle fries were ok. There was not much truffle flavour but had a lemony flavour and the fries were a bit oily. For my main, I got the dos steak and egg tacos. The flavour was good, and portion is good if you just want a snack. My friends enjoyed the Yorkshire benny and it was very filling. Overall, I thought the food was good and decent, although nothing too special. The service was great! The server was super nice, attentive and enthusiastic!

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, which made the visit feel welcoming. Unfortunately, the food let the whole experience down. Even during happy hour, the prices were on the higher end, and what arrived at the table was cold. For a brunch spot where the meal is supposed to be the centerpiece, that's a hard thing to overlook. I'd love to come back just for drinks and the atmosphere, but until the kitchen catches up with the rest of the experience, I can't recommend it as a food destination. The bones are great -- hopefully the execution follows.

Finally tried Olive Garden after hearing about their endless breadsticks, soups and salads from…read morefriends. Taste-wise, everything was pretty good. I really liked my soup (the Zuppa Toscana) and the sauce on my pasta was flavourful (housemade meat sauce). However, because I often buy pasta from the supermarket and make it at home, the pasta here also seemed to be commercially produced (no texture and sauce doesn't stick). It's definitely not the handmade pastas that other Italian restaurants in Vancouver sell. I would probably come back here a couple more times to try the other soups and pastas before the novelty of going to Olive Garden wears off. The atmosphere is quite nice and the service was good so I do understand why people would go here!

There's something about sitting down, getting a big bowl of soup, fresh salad and those breadsticks that makes for a pretty satisfying meal, especially when you're in the mood for something casual. Unfortunately, when it comes to the rest of the menu, the food is pretty subpar. I find that the mains just don't live up to the same appeal as the soup, salad and breadsticks, and I wouldn't go out of my way to come here specifically for the pasta dishes. The service is another area that could use some improvement. It's not as speedy as I'd like, and when you combine that with the dreadfully long lines that seem to be a regular occurrence, the overall experience can be a bit frustrating. I understand that it's a popular restaurant, but waiting ages to get seated doesn't exactly make for the best dining experience.
