Ordered a Chicken Bahn Mi from here. I enjoyed it but it was kind of pricey (around $12). The sauce which I believe was hoisen sauce made the sandwich very flavorful. It was strong that I could taste it after eating the sandwich. So make sure you have a mint handy for after your meal. They offer a variety of sandwiches and I am excited to try the others. I'll be back! The service was fast as well. Waited less than 10 minutes for the sandwich.

    Perfectly seasoned Cajun Chicken sandwich!

FINALLY Coquitlam Center food court gets a great Brooklyn style hand crafted sandwich shop. Tried the Cajun Chicken and the Smoked Meat sandwiches and was blown away by how authentic and fresh they were. The breads are oven fresh crusty and hot, the meats fresh carved and the pickles are a "definite must have". To top it all, the owner Darren is a foodie who will take out the time between personally making the culinary creations to chat about his craft. Rivals any NYC deli and definitely makes downtown's Meat and Bread look like yesterday's news - Definitely not your grandma's food court fare.

Ordered the club sandwich. Pretty sad sandwich. Where's the meat??????????? For $12 I expected a lot more. Will not be returning.

Thought I'd try out a new place. Ordered a club sandwich, what a disappointment. There was like 2 slices of processed turkey, 2 strips of bacon. A slice of cheese melted over that, a piece of lettuce and a thin slice of tomato. Really pathetic for $12. Come on guys. Will not be returning.

Ordered from Chachi's for the first time today. I got the Hot Philly Sandwich and it was to die for! It was extremely fresh, hot and tasty. The only negatives were that, even though it wasn't very busy, it took a long time- a really long time - to get my sandwich. There were 4 employees who looked busy but people seemed to be waiting a long time regardless of what they ordered. My second issue is that I think my sandwich was missing the jalapeño and was therefore less spicy than I had hoped. Those things aside, the food is extremely enjoyable and I will for sure be coming back!

Convinient, fast, and pretty good service. Quite a few options for sandwiches. The salami sandwich was a bit spicy but super good. Worth coming back if I'm around and definitely would recommend

Second review (August 2019): Got the chicken bah mi ($12) Chicken breast, hoisin marinade, spicy Asian sesame, garlic aioli, pickled carrot, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño. The short version of this review would be that it's pretty much parallel to my first review. However the stand out in this sandwich is that I like how they kept the ingredients to a minimum... so aside from the chicken, really the sandwich only had pickled carrots, red onions, cilantro and jalepeños. I'm not saying this as a negative point, I'm saying it as a positive, because what I feel is the highlight of the sandwich are all the sauces! There are 3 different sauces used, but boy do they work well together! They blended together really nicely! Again, the freshness of the 4 veggies paired with the 3 sauces, YES, I recommend! And again, you might think $12 is pretty pricey for a sandwich, but you get what you pay for in this case. The flavour profile is totally worth it. First review: Got the tandoori chicken sandwich ($11) Tandoori chicken, red onion, green pepper, arugula, cilantro, mango chutney, citrus crema. I love everything going into this sandwich (minus the green peppers, but I will say that I forgot they were in there until I saw it, then I started picking them out, but in all honesty, all the other flavours masked the flavour of the green pepper, and I will admit that it did add a good crunch). Anyways, the green peppers aside, the first obvious greatness of this sandwich was the bread. It was nice and warm and the sandwich itself was heated well. The tandoori chicken was incredibly well seasoned and I've mentioned this before in other reviews, that I like having a bit more sauce and this sandwich was no different. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they didn't put enough, I'm just saying they didn't put enough for *my personal preference*. The amount of cilantro/arugula balanced well with the rest of ingredients and flavours. I was going to give this a 4/5 stars bc of the price, but it tasted too good to care about the pri I would absolutely recommend this to others. Good and friendly service!

First visit. Clubbin sandwich tastes great just the right amount of spice. Good spacing for ordering and food pick up for being in a mall

I tried two sandwiches: the Haida Hot, rated 4/5 and priced at $17.99, and the Haida Royal, rated 3/5 at $21.99. I also ordered a small pizza, the Haida Pizza, which was rated 3/5 and costs $16.99. Both sandwiches were good; the bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They were a decent size and made neatly, the addition of hickory stick chips inside the sandwiches is a interesting touch. The pizza was okay, but for its small size, it would be best suited for a child to eat on their own. The size reminded me of the pizza that McDonald's used to offer, and at $17, I found it a bit steep. Overall, the service was good. The staff recommended the most popular items, which was helpful since it was my first visit to Haida. However, I do think the prices are a bit high for what you get.

A Lot of attention and care was put into the design of the place and it shows; neon lights and signs as well as the design of the wall art and a large padded booth in the corner that could comfortably seat a party of 6-8 hungry patrons. And, best of all the management make sure that the tables, floor and bathroom are sparkling clean. We order two of their specialty sandwiches... The Haida Hot and The Meat Lovers and washed them down with Delster (Non-Alcoholic Beer from Iran. The food was simple but good hearty and filling... The drinks were light and refreshing. There was a nice assortment of Persian Music playing at a reasonable volume in the background. This place is close to Coquitlam Centre Mall... They still do sandwiches but comparing the deli meat I saw and the old photos say 6 or 7 years ago, it is like comparing day and night. What caught my attention is the beef sausage rolls. I decided to get two. They were inexpensive 2 for $4. However, they were full of disappointment. They were kind of bland. We had better ones elsewhere. This place is comparable to a Circle K or 7-Eleven. Inside is not brightly lit. Staff seems to be doing their own thing the entire time. Not much service here. Parking is available in the plaza. I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich with jalepenos that was made right before my eyes. The lady grilled my meat and bread, and the entire sandwich was served hot. The amount of meat and cheese was fairly generous. It tasted very good. I also ordered a cinnamon bun that was refridgerated, which implied that it might not have been freshly made that day. I ate it cold, and in retrospect, I should have reheated it in a microwave. Reheating it would've made it softer, but the limited amount of icing and cinnamon would still have been demerits. The sandwich was good, the service was good and I will come back again. But, next time, I'll probably stay clear of the refridgerated pastries. Interestingly, this place also sells a variety of items you'd more likely find at a dollar store. So, if you want hunting knives or flashlights to go with your sandwich, Dik's is the place to go.
