gin and seafood tacos, what better combo is there for lunch.. The shrimp taco is really good.Service at the bar is good. Has that by-the-marina views of the water sort of vibe. Would be nice at night for a date night.

Not sure why no one has mentioned the ridiculous amount of fruit flies inside Jacks but they are everywhere. It was the biggest turnoff about Jacks. The service wasn't much better. We felt rushed and our server could care less we were there. We ordered calamari, poke bowl, tuna tataki and a sushi roll that was just the worst. The flies were everywhere, it was almost like we were swarmed by them every time we went to take a bite. The food was mediocre at best, the booth we were seated at had no privacy and then table of ten beside us was unbelievably loud and we couldn't enjoy each towers company. Would we go back, I highly doubt. The food was lacklustre at best, the tuna was tasteless and covered in weird seasoning sand herbs it didn't need, the sushi roll was dismal the only saving grace was the calamity. The service really needs some attention and training. Our bill was $100 for lunch, not worth it in our eyes.

Great spot. Went here for the first time since it changed to Jack's from the dreaded Rumrunner pub. Place was clean, service was fast and very on point. Food was great, view was good too. Give it a try.

Happy hour did not disappoint! We had drinks and the special sashimi platter and the Cowboy roll. Both were fantastic! Service and ambiance were awesome.

Great food and beautiful plating. The server was less than professional, but she probably won't be there long.

Cocktails are good. The steak, chicken, lamb, fish all looked amazing. We had the steak and lamb sirloin, both nicely presented on a bed of veggies and roasted potatoes. My only qualm is the steak was cut too thin for a NY striploin so it was difficult to cook medium (came out well done but very tender and juicy). Overall plenty of choices for everyone, not cheap but priced typically for the area.

Live piano player Thursday through Saturday nights? Check. Good service? Check. Good value? Sadly, no. If you're coming here, you're likely coming for the ambiance. === 2. FOOD I came as part of a large group dinner and so can comment about: The appetizers: they were alright but far too small for their price: - Brussel Sprouts ($20) - Baked Brie ($22) - Limoncello Prawns ($26) - Calamari ($22) Chicken Piccata ($33): Breaded chicken breast on pappardelle pasta; I changed the cream-based sauce to a tomato-based one and it was alright but I am so grateful for the apples and dessert because it was very small - especially for the price. Tiramisu ($14): It was good, but also overpriced / too small for the price. Note: coffee is $4.50; pop/soda is $4 - but refills are not included. === 3. SERVICE Nicole was super-friendly and really cared about our experience; her teammates helped deliver the many dishes. She was prompt in helping when it was later realized we were missing two of the group's dishes. If I were to go back, I would ask to be served by Nicole if possible. === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's like a steakhouse on the water: dark wood, dim lighting; it could be like that to have diners focus on the many windows facing the water. There appears to be outdoor seating available also. You can bring groups of all sizes here; wheelchairs and baby strollers should fit also in some areas. Parking is based on luck - what you can get on the streets nearby (and you may be looking around for a bit)!

I also loved my frozen espresso martini - The wine list was great and reasonably priced - The food was delicious and a great price for the quality. The brown sugar tart dessert, for example, was so good and tasted a bit like an amazing cheesecake. All the appetizers and mains were perfect too! As we were finishing dinner around 8:30 pm-ish on Friday night, new guests arrived for their Happy Hour which included great food options (that we skipped since we were full from dinner) and specialty cocktails were around $13. Such a great price for such delicious and fun drinks! We'd hoped to come back the following night again but ended up getting tied up with kids' bedtime and missed it. We were bummed since we really wanted to go back to try the Happy Hour and more cocktails!

The food we had were the following; freshly made bread + whipped butter, the decadent prawns , chicken pot pie and 3-course tasting menu (pork belly, stunning scallops and he best chocolate torte I have ever tasted. I can't say enough about this food and service. Our only hiccup was the cold draft coming in - but the food and service was so good, that we can overlook. We can't wait to come back!! Thank you for an amazing experience!!
