My parents and I were looking for a restaurant to eat and we thought why not give it a try. Inside is quite cozy, we were greeted immediately by our server. To start we order two lobster bisque, it was lovely and rich. I order the branzio with the veggie risotto, it was full of flavor and delicious. My dad ordered the seafood paella and it arrived in a casserole, he loved it. Mom order the spicy chicken with fresh fries. Portion was big but she said it was flavorful and delicious and fries were cooked perfectly. I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. Service was great.

I've wanted to try this place for a while. Finally did! Food was pretty tasty. We had the octopus app (came out cool instead of hot) but was excellent. Garlic shrimp was pretty good too. I had a steak - cooked to the perfect temp. He has the paella and he said he loved it. For dessert we split the creme brûlée. Probably the best I've ever had.

Overall **** I didn't go into this with high expectations but my son and I were having a boys night out and once my son read that they claim to have the best fries in Rockland County he was all in. They get 4 Stars from me for a friendly, comfortable environment, very good food at good prices. We will most definitely return. They have a few different hot sauces which I of course had to try but as a warning if you go for the little black bottle go easy with it or pay the price like I did! Setting **** A corner location on the main drag with plenty of street parking and a municipal lot just down the side street. There are only four, two top, outdoor tables which I suspect go pretty fast. The street is very busy during the weekdays with cars and buses so I wouldn't think it is all that enjoyable to sit out there. Inside the restaurant has tall ceilings, hardwood floors and white tablecloths, I did not see much booth seating in case that is your thing. There is a wall facing bar when you walk in that seats about 10 so on a busy night (they say Saturday's are the busiest) that area I would expect to get very crowded. On a early Friday evening it wasn't overly busy. We were alone at the bar, the outside seats full while inside it was about a third full. Most of the customers appeared to be well dressed 50+ groups out on the town. One downside is the single use bathrooms. Service **** We were warmly greeted by the owner who stopped by several times to check on us and the rest of the staff while not overly friendly were enjoyable and seem to work well together. Food **** We started with the Chorizo Empanadas which were fresh, light and tasty although I prefer a more "charred" flavor to my sausage. Two, perfectly Medium Rare N.Y. Strips with fries were next up and although, like the Empanadas, I prefer a more "charred" flavor and they could have used a bit more seasoning the steaks themselves were ridiculously tender and delicious. They say on the menu that they have the best fries in Rockland County and it may be possible. They are made fresh in house and were super crispy outside and pillowy soft inside. Like the steaks though a stronger touch of Kosher salt would put them over the top. Value **** The entire menu seemed very reasonable to me and steaks of that quality for $29 was pretty darn good. While not a true bargain we really did enjoy ourselves to the point that even someone as frugal as myself didn't care so much about the bill.

Just had dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The apps were excellent, pecan roasted Brie, crab cake and cheese plate. 2 of us ordered the filet with the horseradish sauce, the steak was perfect, charred on the outside and medium in the middle. Hubby ordered the special pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon. We enjoyed the Sangria. We will return.

Went with my wife and she had a cocktail ( I drank water). She is not a big drinker and she gets tipsy after 1/2 glass of wine but she didn't feel anything after this cocktail. She didn't think there was actually any alcohol in the drink. We then split a chopped salad and when they brought it to the table we were in disbelief. It was so tiny there were only a few chunks of lettuce. Tasted great but it was literally a child's portion. For our main course she had the filet with lobster tail and I had a petite filet. We both ordered medium rare. The lobster was awful. So heavily spiced that it was hard to eat. The steaks were both significantly over cooked. They came out close to well done. The side dish of Mac and cheese was completely dry, very little of any sauce. We skipped desert. So for 1 drink, one salad, one side dish and 2 entrees our bill with tip was $300. Walking out I just felt like we had been ripped off. The service was fine, the food wasn't. We won't be back.

So I am reluctantly giving this restaurant three stars. I say reluctantly because they tried hard…read moreto be attentive, but fell short and the food, while priced like a high end steakhouse also fell short and this is why. First the positives. Lovely atmosphere. The staff was polite and kind. The manager stopped by to chat and check in. The folks with me who ate the strip steak enjoyed it. It was tasty and cooked perfectly as they requested. That's good considering it IS a steakhouse. The negatives. It is not always the case that everyone in the party likes steak or likes every steak. So a good steakhouse will do the other options exceptionally well too. Particularly the meat. Here, they did not. I like ribeye. That's my favorite. They only offer a 24 oz ribeye, however, and since none of my peeps wanted ribeye (curses on them) I was up a creek. I don't like strip or filet. Didn't want pork. But I do LOVE a wedge salad, and few places have one. Steakhouses generally do. So I was quite happy to have one. Until I had it. They did not do it well. At all. First, the bacon... while it clearly began as a few lovely generous lardons, ended up four over cooked, hard as rocks bacon chunks. The chicken was dry and terribly overcooked. Hard on the edges. I would expect a steakhouse to get the grilled chicken breast correct. And the bacon is inexcusable. When the salad costs $30, you have to nail it. Could I have sent it back? I'm sure I could have. But looking at the neighbors' table, theirs looked the same so I figured what's the point. And I didn't want to be a Karen about a salad in a steakhouse. And I wasn't holding up my table's meal for a redo on a salad. At the end of the day, if you don't get something this simple correct, it is a fail. I'm sorry to say that. Truly. But it requires addressing. There are too many other options for good steak that do these non-steak elements right too.

One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.
