- Writing these top lines 13 days after posting the review below. Interesting that the owner never responds to poor reviews of the restaurant, nor apologizes for poor service or mediocre food. Nor does the owner even suggest they will improve and try to do better if the customer will give the place a second chance. Pretty telling - Nice atmosphere, but the music indoors is way, way too loud. Have to yell at the person next to you for them to be able to hear you. I've been to loud places before, but this was a bit ridiculous. Our waiter was polite, but didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu and was trying to hurry us along instead of allowing us to enjoy our time there. The food was mediocre and overpriced for what we had. The ahi tuna was fair, but nothing spectacular. The kale salad was supposed to have a miso dressing, but it tasted like someone had smothered it in black pepper. It was way too peppery for a salad. Couldn't taste any miso flavor at all. The hummus had dairy in it, which is very atypical of hummus, so I couldn't it eat it. I had mentioned to the waiter that I had a dairy sensitivity. Really don't know why anyone would put dairy in hummus anyway. Again, way overpriced for mediocre food and service. Really not in a hurry to give it a second chance. read more

Quince Riverside was a solid lunch spot! We tried this on a Friday at a random time and they weren't super busy. We were seated right away and were able to sit on the patio (which runs alongside the river). It was a very large, open patio. Service was solid, no complaints at all there. FOOD: the food was really good! Everything seemed fresh, unique, and pretty well done overall! We had a few apps - I'd get the lamb dumplings!! Then a chicken sandwich (with amazing rosemary fries!) and steak salad. Both very good! If we came back we'd do the exact same order. Overall, a solid spot that I'd say was better than I expected. Came to quince for restaurant week. I've always heard good things about this place so I was excited to try it out. The atmosphere is really great. I want to come back in the fall when it's not hot and can enjoy the patio along the river. The staff were so nice and friendly and gave good recommendations. Finally the food was good! Came to Fort Worth for a restaurant week meal to meet a friend and choose here. Enjoyed the views from inside and looked like a nice patio for when it's not August. Food was pretty good. Quince was a 10/10 experience! We had the Frieda sushi and the incredibly smooth, non-acidic hummus topped with roasted Brussels sprouts--both were absolutely delicious. Our server, Paulina, was the sweetest and most attentive server; every recommendation was perfection. We even sat outside on a hot evening, and although it was warm, we were still very comfortable... lots of fans. Another delicious dinner experience at Quince. My favorite rock shrimp appetizer in town, I couldn't get enough. The sushi was fresh and tasty. My sea bass was amazing with a very delicious and unique crust flavor profile. My hubby really enjoyed his tenderloin salad entree. My classic martini was crisp and refreshing. We had outdoor reservations for a Friday night and it was nice and breezy, though extremely crowded. I started with the sangria which was basically fruity water. We also tried a habanero drink that was pretty watery. The appetizers were all amazing. The lamb dumplings were well seasoned and perfect pan seared. The hummus and Brussels sprouts with pita bread was such a nice balance. The chef cooked the Brussels sprouts differently than normal to accommodate some dietary restrictions at the table. The brisket fries had a bit of spice in the cheese but it was just the right amount. They were so good! The sea bass was just okay, but I did like the panko crust and the fish was cooked well. Regardless of the flavors in each dish, everything they brought out was lukewarm. We had a group of four and it was great company, so the things that didn't quite meet the standard were easily overlooked. read more

The patio and overall atmosphere were definitely the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food and drinks didn't live up to the setting. The margaritas were extremely sour, although I do appreciate that the bartender was willing to remake them. We also ordered the ahi tuna tacos, but they were pretty flavorless and underwhelming. Between the drinks and food, we ended up deciding not to stay for dinner. One thing that was hard to overlook was how dusty the light fixtures above the bar were, which took away from the experience. With such a great patio and ambiance, I would like to possibly give it another try. read more

We visited Quince for an impromptu date day after church. My hubby wanted sushi and I wanted something else. This seemed like the perfect compromise. I will start by saying it's a lovely place. Ambience, decor and the whole vibe was promising. We were greeted and seated immediately. My only complaint with the seating was that it was directly in front of a standing fan. Our order was taken quickly and arrived in about 10 mins. Here's where things changed. I ordered the chilaquiles with both sauces, scrambled eggs and chicken. My husband torched salmon sushi and tortilla soup. As you can see the chicken never made it to the plate. We informed the waiter who said he'd bring the chicken back. After waiting another 6-7 mins I decided to eat it as it came to the table because it was literally ice cold. The flavor of the chilaquiles was good but it was EXTREMELY dry and the chips were soggy. On to my husbands meal. The tortilla soup was the star of the afternoon. It was very flavorful and creamy. We'd never had creamy tortilla soup with fried pork skins in place of tortillas chips. As for the sushi, 10 THUMBS DOWN! The rice was hard and the sushi falling apart. It seemed as if the rice was old which was very disappointing. We also had to ask to have the chicken that never made it removed from our ticket. We never saw the server again but still left a tip. To conclude our day, I ended up with severe stomach pain the remainder of the day and throughout the night. I'm current working through recovery now. This was a $85 meal. OK This place is 5 star view with a chic, modern, clean interior and patio area. The service was 4-5 stars. My Berry Chanti cocktail was delicious! The parking is free at a nearby covered garage. The area is under a lot of construction for what I assume is growth. I ordered the Pasta Rafael and was disappointed. Just a bowl of spaghetti and underwhelming tomato sauce that I could have made better at home. I added the shrimp and that was good. My tab was $94 for a cocktail, bowl of average spaghetti, glass of Rose wine and a liqueur desert. Overpriced. I expect a better meal for that cost. read more

I had a positive experience with Quince for a cousins brunch, so I chose it for my private wedding brunch. The ambiance and location is just beautiful. I contacted them and was connected with Tarrin Decker. She was great to work with on all the details. My decorator and I came to see the Back room and my favorite server Tokyo was working. I personally asked him could he be assigned to my brunch and he said sure. I don't normally work on Wednesdays but I will. His SERVICE is top notch. Love him. Took my oldest daughter to Quince Riverside last Saturday for a little mommy-daughter brunch . We sat outside on the patio and it was just perfect -- beautiful weather, great food, and the best vibes . Our server Marcos was absolutely amazing . He was super friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. He checked in just enough without ever feeling pushy, and honestly made us feel so taken care of. Stopped by Quince Riverside for weekend brunch and it was so good. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in the garage or in the parking lot out front. The vibes of the restaurant feel like you are in Mexico and there is even a live stream to the Quince riverside restaurant in San Miguel, Mexico. I ordered the French toast and the chilaquiles with steak. The French toast was okay as the bread was a bit on the cold side and it needed the maple syrup. The chilaquiles with steak were excellent with great flavor on the steak and a hint of heat from the verde sauce on the tortilla chips. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the trinity river which would be nice on a cooler day. We opted to sit inside just to avoid the hot temperatures of the Texas summer. I highly recommend Quince Riverside if you are looking for a weekend brunch spot in Fort Worth. read more

I have visited Quince a few times and overall their service and quality of food is delicious!!! They have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays on their patio. It is a great patio to stay cool in, even in this Texas heat!! They have happy hour until 6. I wasn't a fan of their oysters, very very small for the price, and a bit disappointed in the Brussels sprouts. I will not order The Brussel sprouts again.i was expecting the Brussels sprouts to be cut in half, but they serve them flake like. I prefer half the Brussel sprout for a more filling appetizer. The octopus is so delicious and full of flavor. The French double dip is really good as well! Great experience during brunch as well along with such flavorful dishes. read more

My gf & I have been waiting to try Quince and decided to book a reservation Friday night out on the patio when the weather was great... the atmosphere and ambiance here is fantastic. Hard to beat being right along the river. From the decor to the music to the feel of being on the beach.. big fan. Now the food was a different story. Nothing jumped out on the menu so we decided to roll with the ahi-tuna tacos, chicken yakimeshi, and pecan crusted steak salad. Underwhelmed was really the theme of the food portion. The yakimeshi was the best item but just had that chicken fried rice feel to it... the ahi tuna tacos were messy and lacking flavor, the only thing I could taste was the spice of the spicy mayo on top, the steak salad was just bleh. 3 strips of steak for $26 and a classic garden salad blend simply won't cut it. Don't hate it, don't love it... not sure if I'll be back for food. read more

Food was decent. Not exquisite but good enough to possibly come back for the ambience. The drinks were amazing. El Azul was really good. Matcha martini was different but not in a bad way. The atmosphere is great. Especially the outdoor seating. It's a bit pricey and the parking is free however it is shared with many other commercial properties on site.
