I searched Fort Worth rooftops and Àtico was the highest recommended so why not. I had no idea it was in the stockyards which kinda is a plus if you're looking to bar hop. Either way, girls love rooftops so it gave what it was suppose to give + great customer service and good drinks Will be back!

We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthday, excited for a fun evening out. The location has plenty of parking, but unfortunately, you'll have to pay for it--and no, they don't validate parking. To get to the restaurant, you'll need to head to the side of the hotel and take the elevator up. Once inside, don't expect someone to greet you at the door, it's a self-seating setup. As soon as we settled in, our server arrived with menus in hand. She was incredibly sweet, patiently answering all our questions since it was our first time here. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with a trendy open kitchen concept that made the space feel alive. The drinks? Decent, but not memorable--especially at the steep prices. As for the food, we wanted to love it, but it just didn't deliver. For the premium price tag, the dishes were underwhelming. We ordered several plates to share, but not a single one stood out or wowed us. The highlights of the evening were definitely the stunning views and excellent service. But for the cost? I'd much rather take my money...and my appetite somewhere else. Food: 2/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Duck egg over potatoes, the lime zest is amazing to elevate this dish.

First and foremost the vibe and energy this culinary crew brought to the table was superb. The entire staff was prompt taking our order, super graceful explaining the menu selections "I had a lot of questions". Chef Zach came by as often as possible also explaining the dishes, and the Atico's culinary approach to a modern twist on rustic dishes. If you are in the Stock Yards or in DFW this is by far the best bang for the buck (scenery, exquisite food, one of the better whiskey selections). Don't miss out on this place! One of the best dinning experiences I can recall anywhere in DFW.

I like to start reviews on a positive note. The whiskey selection is outstanding. Ryes and Bourbons. Whistle Pig Boss Hog XI. Whistle Pig 10yr and 12yr Ryes. Garrison and Angels Envy Bourbons. Local and Tennessee whiskeys. Elijah Craig. Bookers. Good selections. But when we tried to order cocktails the bartenders couldn't make anything we asked for. Had to look up recipes for Black Manhattan and Paper Plane. The tapas were pretty good. Expect a lot of garlic. On everything. The Croquettas are in the "crispy" section but they were mushy and not crispy at all. The reason I indicated "maybe" recommend is the issue with the manager. I made the mistake of letting him know we were from California. On my way back from the restroom, he cornered me preventing me from re-entering the restaurant and proceeded to interrogate me about California politics and asked me if I drive an electric car. Telling me that the California power grid can't handle all the electric cars that are being mandated. I politely informed him he was misinformed and I drive a Jeep. Ok so what was that all about? The only thing I can think is that Californians are not welcome. And guess what? I don't recommend this business if you're from California no matter what car you drive. We stayed at the Drover and spent a fortune at Lonesome Dove (highly recommended) by the same ownership. I would go back to those establishments in a hot minute. Atico? Never again.

Great food and GREAT ambience! My friend took me here to grab some cocktails and small plates and it did not disappoint. Their cocktails are so cute and delicious. We ended up getting the brisket croquettes raw oysters and the cheese plate. We also happen to be there at the same time that the Pendleton girls were coming around, giving out merch and free taster shots, which was really fun! I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was so helpful recommending things and was lovely to chat with - young blonde girl, super social - she made our night!

For all of you coming from out of town and plan to visit the stockyards (and looking to feel a little boujee) this is your spot. You wouldn't think that this cool place would exist on top of a Springfield Inn. On a nice day I can imagine nice open views from the balcony area. Absolutely great food and drinks but the shrimp dish is the one. We were told that it gets really packed in the evening. It was perfectly chill when we were there in the afternoon.

Went on a Sunday evening around 5:30 and quickly found seating on the patio. Gorgeous views and a great ambiance with the cooler weather, the bigger doors were open for the inside to easily flow to the outside. Server was super friendly and I'm kicking myself for not remembering her name! She gave amazing recommendations and great service. Everything we tried came quickly and was tasty. I think my favorite was the deer sausage flatbread that had jalapeño pesto! The drinks were all super quick and so tasty. Such a great view and just an overall relaxing environment to enjoy company and good food and drinks! Will definitely be back

Relaxed friends meeting place. Chillest and enjoy!

This place is absolutely amazing! The wait staff does it right, the bar staff are on point! A hidden gem and well the effort to experience! If you miss it...... you missed out. The food is Spanish inspired and delicious!!Stephan was fantastic and invites you back!

Dragonfly, blood orange sangria, collins de tejas, watermelon cooler
    Keke K.

We went there on a Saturday evening. We sat on the cozy loft outside overlooking the streets of stockyard. So normal day. But what made it worth was our waiter, Evan, who was so friendly and just such a jolly guy. He recommended us individual drinks according to what we liked. Each of us thought our drink was the best. So we had dragonfly, watermelon cooler, blood orange sangria, collins TEJAS. Watermelon cooler was the best for the hot texas summer night. We order multiples on that one. The sangria was one of the best I ever had, and I had a lot lol. Dragonfly was really refreshing as well. And, collins TEJAS with added texas bluebonnet didn't look the part but definitely taste the part. It was great blend of sweet and spicy. Then we had apple and lomo and then salami and fennel flat breads, which again so good!!! And the star of the dinner was the scallops, properly seasoned, cooked to the T, juicy flavors that melts in your mouth. Would definitely go again and again.

Very nice spot ! Located on the rooftop of a hotel. There was a musician singing and playing guitar which created a lovely, touching atmosphere. Ambiance: Decor was simple and the space has a lot of natural light and versatile seating options. I loved the live music. I rate the ambiance 9.4/10 Food: We ordered the goat cheese jar and a charcuterie board (don't remember which one but i posted a picture of it). We didn't order too much as we just wanted a small bite to eat before dinner but overall food was unique and tasty! I rate the food 9.3/10. Service: Our waitress was very attentive and answered our questions about the menu with ease. She checked up on us several times to make sure we were content. I rate the service 10/10. Overall rating = 9.5/10

Left: Strawberry Fields. Right: Blackberry Smash. Both great.

I love this place! The servers are always so friendly and welcoming. The view is amazing. Great rotating menu with seasonal specials of fresh cocktails and food. The vibe is upscale mellow. You won't regret it.

Flew in for a quick layover, over superbowl weekend. Resturant is located on the rooftop of one of the hotels, one disclaimer they were doing construction so part of the rooftop was closed off. All the servers and bartenders were super friendly when we walked in. The resturant is a tapas sharing plates, and the portions are very generous! We ordered about 5 plates for 3 people and were stuffed after. Very good flavors and you could taste the great Latin flavors. Tori took great care of us. Though the views of the town from an above aren't Las Vegas it was nice groovy rooftop bar!

They were about full when we arrived. Not so much when we left. While I thought there was a game tonight - it's the Eagles in concert at one of the nearby stadiums. Because it was packed when we arrived, the space was fairly loud. Cheyenne was our server and she did great. She knew the menu well and made some suggestions. We had already read the Yelp reviews and sort of knew what we wanted. Two of us shared: - Margarita rocks - Pan con Tomate - Crispy Pork - Jerk Chicken Paella The Pan con Tomate was amazing. Really cool presentation too. The Crispy Pork was real nice. A bit dry due to making it crispy. Really meaty too. The Jerk Chicken Paella was great. Cheyenne told us the jerk seasoning wasn't very spicy. She was right. I would have liked it spicier though but understand the decision to appeal to a broader section of diners. The socarrat was amazing. They make the paella in a small (8"?) cast iron skillet. It made for a perfect caramelization of the rice (socarrat). The dish had jerk seasoned chicken thighs and vegetables. Yum! I would have loved to have the Coconut Cake. But we were full and it was $22. She immediately gave recommendations for each area in the menu and when we were ordering drinks she even suggested different things based on our initial preference. For example, one of my friends asked about a whiskey sour and she recommended one of their pisco drinks instead and it was delicious! We got the yucca, dates, and lamb skewers as appetizers and didn't have a single crumb behind. Well balanced flavor with unique touches that we all appreciated. For entrees two of us ordered the lomo saltado which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the duck when my bf asked for it so they brought him a drink on the house to make up for it. He changed his order to the salmon and loved it. I ordered the paella and sadly that did take waaay too long to come out. By the time they finally brought it to me everyone else was done eating so I just asked for a to-go box. The server did apologize and brought me a drink on the house but it would've been nice to know ahead of time that the dish would take so long to prepare, because I would've chosen something else so I could eat with everyone. All in all it was great and I'll definitely come back. Hopefully I make it in before the duck is sold out next time!
