Since it is rooftop at the hotel, be prepared to valet or park elsewhere & walk, unless you're staying on site. But once you're upstairs, especially in the evening - vibes are immaculate . Texas heat obviously doesn't allow for full use of the outdoor area year round (comfortably) but I will say, energy and the view is great in the evening. The entire staff was prompt taking our order, super graceful explaining the menu selections "I had a lot of questions". The location has plenty of parking, but unfortunately, you'll have to pay for it--and no, they don't validate parking. To get to the restaurant, you'll need to head to the side of the hotel and take the elevator up. Once inside, don't expect someone to greet you at the door, it's a self-seating setup. As soon as we settled in, our server arrived with menus in hand. She was incredibly sweet, patiently answering all our questions since it was our first time here. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with a trendy open kitchen concept that made the space feel alive. The drinks? Decent, but not memorable--especially at the steep prices. As for the food, we wanted to love it, but it just didn't deliver. For the premium price tag, the dishes were underwhelming. Had to look up recipes for Black Manhattan and Paper Plane. The tapas were pretty good. Expect a lot of garlic. On everything. The Croquettas are in the "crispy" section but they were mushy and not crispy at all. The reason I indicated "maybe" recommend is the issue with the manager. I made the mistake of letting him know we were from California. On my way back from the restroom, he cornered me preventing me from re-entering the restaurant and proceeded to interrogate me about California politics and asked me if I drive an electric car. Telling me that the California power grid can't handle all the electric cars that are being mandated. I politely informed him he was misinformed and I drive a Jeep. Ok so what was that all about? The only thing I can think is that Californians are not welcome. And guess what? I don't recommend this business if you're from California no matter what car you drive. We stayed at the Drover and spent a fortune at Lonesome Dove (highly recommended) by the same ownership. I would go back to those establishments in a hot minute. Atico? Never again. read more

I booked a Springhill Suites hotel room last minute for the Spain vs France World Cup match. It's not the closest hotel to the Stadium but it's the one with Enjoyed Tim Love's rooftop bar & Restaurant! We celebrated here the night before and it was so good, we are going back after, win or lose! The Blood Orange Sangria was perfect and Jose's Tacos made with Iberico Ham & Caviar was incredibly delicious. The Gold Flakes are a touch of elegance, but as a chef, I know this is just for decoration. Don't miss the Fiambreria Clasificado, whick features their Charcuterie and comes with Escabeche. You wouldn't think that this cool place would exist on top of a Springfield Inn. On a nice day I can imagine nice open views from the balcony area. Went on a Sunday evening around 5:30 and quickly found seating on the patio. Gorgeous views and a great ambiance with the cooler weather, the bigger doors were open for the inside to easily flow to the outside. Server was super friendly and I'm kicking myself for not remembering her name! She gave amazing recommendations and great service. Everything we tried came quickly and was tasty. Flew in for a quick layover, over superbowl weekend. Resturant is located on the rooftop of one of the hotels, one disclaimer they were doing construction so part of the rooftop was closed off. All the servers and bartenders were super friendly when we walked in. The resturant is a tapas sharing plates, and the portions are very generous! We ordered about 5 plates for 3 people and were stuffed after. Very good flavors and you could taste the great Latin flavors. Tori took great care of us. Good spot for an upscale vibe in the stockyards. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept. We ordered the charcuterie boards and some cocktails. One board had cheeses and pickled veggies while the other board had cured meat and sausage. The venison sausage was our favorite. The cocktails were more on the pricier side, but made well. The staff were friendly, but we did have to wave down other servers to order more food, drinks, and our bill because our server disappeared for a good bit of time. It would be helpful if there was a sign at the door as it makes it awkward upon arrival. We were greeted pretty quickly after sitting. The small plates are not so small. The little pizza was good and the ambiance was great. Drinks were quite nice but the charcuterie was definitely below par like way below par... Like my local grocery store deli probably beats it out by a good margin. Even the iberco which was heavily marketed is not very good. It's very very old and heavily aged so it's got a good bit of funk. All good if you're into that. I've had a beer ago before and loved it, but this was no bueno. As you as you get off the elevator you are met with the a beautiful space overlooking the Ft. Worth skyline. The kitchen is open so you can see everything going on, and the staff is so friendly.
