Gave them another try, and our experience was as bad as our first. Decent food but very slow service, to the point where it ordered on unbelievably ridiculous. Seriously, we waited 45 minutes to get two glasses of wine. You absolutely need to have a good two hours if you're going to eat dinner there. We will not be giving them another chance. And here it is.. lived this place when it first opened. Went back for round two and it was still good. We brought friends in the other evening and this place has gone down hill badly. Italian chefs are gone and then we found out it's just another Albanian owned pasta shop- I guess these guys don't want to sell their own cuisine?! Hosts, servers, bar and even the management, amazing. The food, bland, over cooked steak and the pasta was swimming in sauce. The lobster ravioli almost made my wife vomit- the fish smell was putrid when she cut into it. Ambience, service, wine selection, fresh pasta, and happy hour - all 5 stars. BUT the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee's. Unforgivable to put that on that beautiful, perfectly cooked pasta. I added loads of parm and pepper and still raked off the sauce to eat. The portion was ample but I did not take the leftovers., Previously, I had the cheese pizza. Dirtiest martini ever made by Jaylen. This drink was per perfection. The grilled octopus was perfect and the vegetables it was atop were sweet and juicy. The beet root gel was subtle. We had three different dishes, the pork shank, braised beef and spaghetti verde. All were fantastic. I forgot to take a picture of desert so you just have to trust me . We popped in not long after happy hour started and were the only folks in the place. Service was SO friendly! Ambience was pretty quiet since we had the place to ourselves, but I could see how it would get noisy if the crowd was more lively. We were pleased by the food - I got the diavolo pizza, yummier than expected, and she got the chicken piccata (not on the HH menu) but also very good. Give it a try! read more

From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by friendly faces and a very cozy ambiance. I came with my parents and two brothers the day after Christmas and it was a very comfortable setup in one of the back booths. We started off by looking at the iPad with the drink menu, which made selecting cocktails and a bottle of wine very easy. We are big sharers and got a few appetizers along with a pasta to share with our main dishes. I loved the filet I ordered. It was cooked wonderfully, but what really caught my attention was the desserts. The tiramisu was delicious and while the mousse wasn't something I was expecting, it was absolutely delicious. Our first visit to Buonissimo last night was a great experience. The decor is bright and modern, location perfect with after-6 p.m. free meter parking just steps away. The food was superb - Ceasar Salad, Osso Buco, Tagliatelle Alfredo with Salmon, Spagetti Vongole. Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our waitress was attentive but very hard to understand - however, all came out right. Downside - this restauant has the unfortunate policy of cancel-within-48-hours-or pay -penalty. I will never book a reservation under these terms. We walked in and had a choice of tables so suggest that others do the same and maybe this policy will be amended. read more

I went to Buonissimo for a weekday lunch. It was not too busy, seated and served right away. The interior is just lovely. My server was just lovely. The wine collection is massive. The Burrata is just like you get in Italy, SUPERB and my Pesto Pasta was delicious. This is in my top two Italian restaurants in Fort Worth. Parked down the street at a meter. I came for a quick weekday lunch. The chicken piccata was delicious. It was a large portion for lunch. Service was great! I enjoyed talking with the hostess and my server. I saw lots of amazing pizza's going to other tables, so I will try that next. read more

The experience tonight was great. A little slow to start because we arrived early. The team jumped in and Ava did a fantastic job subbing in at the bar. She gets a five stars. Jardon our waitress did not stear us wrong. The food was all fantastic. We had Carbonara, Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi and steak. Octopus and meatballs for appetizers we loved. Tiramisu off the chart. It's rare for me to say, "This is the best I've ever had," but I found myself saying it multiple times throughout the meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Disappointing experience! Went to grab a drink at the bar, only one person was sitting there and the hostess said we had to wait for the bartender to wipe down the bar. It was obviously clean so we just went and sat down. It took a while for the bartender to help us. She was overwhelmed and even told the hostess not to seat anyone at the bar even though there were seats open. She kept complaining about not having clean glasses and did not even talk to us or say thank you when we left. In fact, no one in the whole restaurant said Thank You you when we left. read more

I stopped in for a drink and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When we walked in, we let the hostess know we were just there to grab a drink at the bar. She told us we would need to wait while she "cleaned it off," even though there were only two people sitting at the bar and several open seats available. Once we were seated, the bartender was extremely rude and unwelcoming. At one point, I overheard her tell the hostess "last one" when another guest sat at the bar despite there still being multiple open seats. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Eventually a few minutes later we were approached and asked if there was something we could be helped with. Asked about ordering a pizza and the young lady brought a menu over and then went back to speak with a girl at the bar.
