I don't know what goes into these drink fountains, but it can't be good. I poured an alleged "unsweet raspberry black tea" today, paid for it, and went on with my day. By the time I tasted it, I was already down the road. That was my second mistake. This thing doesn't taste like raspberry or tea, and it has some kind of flavoring that surely includes a little sweetener of some kind. I really tried to drink it & like it, but I couldn't do it. I salvaged the ice for the tea I brought from home this morning. Could've bought a BAG OF ICE for what I paid for a crappy drink! read more

QuikTrip is a fantastic retail operator and this location is a great example of why it is so. The gas prices here are extremely competitive and there are pumps on both sides of the convenience store making it easy to get fueled up quickly. In addition, the store itself has an incredible array of bottled drinks, snacks, sandwiches, ice cream, and other edibles. The extensive fountain display has every kind of soda and frozen drink imaginable as well as iced tea, hot tea, and coffee. The service desk is also very well setup and efficient so you don't have to wait in line very long. I usually stop here for gas when I'm traveling through Elgin. Recommended. read more

4 giant silo sized sodas, 4 ice cream cones and the price was around 12 bucks. The variety of sodas was amazing and it is always a pleasure to stop in at our local Quick Trip and grab cones and a soda for the whole family for what amounts to pocket change anymore. The staff is delightful and now and again I grab a hot egg roll and when they are onsale for a buck each I grab them all! read more

I LOVE QuikTrip. The hot food is always delicious and fresh. The gas prices are very competitive. Almost always the cheapest place to put it, plus the only place near me that takes Apple Pay at the pump and I hardly ever have my wallet on me. The best thing about QT is the employees and the customer service they give. They are always very friendly and ready to help. They go above and beyond. Anytime my food from the kitchen has been wrong or I have a problem with something they will give you a free drink coupon for any size drink! One time my food was just taking a long time because they had to remake it for some reason and they gave me 4 of them. And these coupons are good for all cold or hot drinks and coffee, any size!! QuikTrip is my favorite convenience store and there are several reasons why. First, it's spotlessly clean. Second, they have the best selection of fountain drinks, coffees, and teas of any convenience store. Next, both their roller grill and food counter have a huge variety of good food. Finally, the staff at every QuikTrip seems genuinely motivated and happy to help. Other convenience stores may be bigger or offer souveniers. I stop by every morning and guess who greets me with quick pleasant service, helpful and friendly. The store itself, I love also, who ever designed the lay out, good job. I love that there are so many gas pumps located on both the front and back side. Drink selection is second to none. Quick healthy made to order options. I order a personal pan pepperoni pizza from qt on Monday and when I left I realized that the pizza tasted pastie so I checked it out. Turns out the pizza was not cooked all the way through. I know it wasn't the cheese because I took all the cheese off. Then today on Wednesday I went back and told them, they gave a me a free personal pan pizza and you guessed it, it was still uncooked. But other than that the store is great fast cashiers good drinks and snacks. read more

It seems weird to review a gas station but when you're on a road trip and looking for a clean bathroom, reviews can be helpful. Let me tell ya, QT is super clean, has lots of great snacks and a killer fountain drink section. The gas prices are some of the best in town, too which is a plus! I was a loyal QT customer in Oklahoma for years. I was THRILLED to see one in the Austin area. These gas stations are everything a gas station should be. This is the only gas station I will get in house food from because I trust it's cleanliness. read more

I'd suggest avoiding Quick Trip convenience stores, unless you don't mind being publicly humiliated in a store full of people. Its machines randomly reject certain credit and debit cards for no apparent reason - a situation managers and employees have been aware of for some time (per my experience, and that of two other people I've found who have had similar experiences). When that happens employees insist there's nothing wrong with their machines, exchange smirky looks, and complain loudly that you're holding up the line, with the implication that you're doing something disreputable. I now patronize Circle K instead, where the machines work every time, the staff is much nicer, and prices are generally lower. read more
