I saw a COMING SOON sign a couple of weeks ago whenever I pass by the RANCH 88 plaza on the way home & then, some NOW OPEN ad on IG. They did a great job marketing this place so I called the phone number I found on YELP to check and see if we can bring our pupster COCO the Samoyed to sit with us in the patio area... Coco was allowed to sit outside in the patio area! So they are DOG FRIENDLY! SONG of the DAY to play along to this YELP REVIEW: Dame Un Grrr Song by Fantomel and Kate Linn... TAMAL PLATE: 8/10 Two points off because the tamale itself was a bit dry and the sauce was sour. There was a nice creamy sauce that came with it but, it was like a cilantro lime on the sour side. The presentation was great. GREEN POZOLE: 8/10 Two points off because it was sour and had a lot of fatty chunks. I love pozole and I usually have the red Pozole. The Green One is interesting it already has a lot of lime flavor so I didn't have to squeeze the lime. There were a lot of fat chucks from the pork. Overall, I prefer the red pozole. CHIPS & SALSA:10/10 Love the thickness, flavor and crunchiness of the chips and the salsa was nice and smoky. CHIPOTLE CHILAQUILES: 8/10 Two points off because The Carne Asada was chewy and the possibly red in the center still. Presentation was very nice and I loved the fried egg. I absolutely love this place! My partner and I went here after the Murrieta 5K. We were seated quickly and although the food did take awhile, the overall service was excellent and the food was amazing! Proportions themselves were worth the wait. Lexi was amazing! Major kudos and thanks to this wonderful Quiero Brunch team! Lexi provided amazing recommendations like the Dulce De Leche iced latte, I was so happy to try it! It was rich, but not too thick! The lattes at this brunch spot are some of the best in the Inland Empire. The mole-quiles were PHENOMENAL, omg you need to try QB's mole! It's such a unique twist on chilaquiles, I'm obsessed. My only quip would be that some of the food came out a little too cool, almost room temperature as if it was sitting there. It didn't ruin it, but it was a little odd having some portions of the meal being prepared warm and the others less so. Overall, the staff was wonderful from the front desk to the cutlery staff. Everyone had a good attitude and was very inclusive! I'll definitely return to this place, the outdoor patio was super laidback, they had great music next to the bar! My husband and I decided to try Quiero Brunch--and just like the name says, it's the perfect combo of Mexican breakfast and lunch. They're known for their chilaquiles, so I had to order the ZestyQuiles with chicken after seeing a Yelp rec. The citrusy twist in the sauce was so good! My husband went with the Chipotle Chilaquiles with al pastor which he loved, and of course, we each had our own mimosas (his request lol). I think next time I will try one of their cocktails though! Mimosas after all always taste the same to me lol Plates coming out around us looked huge, and sure enough, when ours arrived, the portions were very generous. Quiero Brunch is such a cute restaurant! This is a place I'd want to go with my girlfriends for brunch. Our matcha and latte were good, but I think we came on an off day because my food was tasty, but presentation was sloppy, and they forgot to add a few items to my dish. Our second dish didn't come out at the same time mine did, and we were told that it would be out in a few minutes and it never came so we ended up canceling the order. The only reason why this place is getting more stars is because of the Danny. He did his best in trying to get our food out and when it didn't, he asked if we wanted anything on the house. We were on our way to Temecula for a day trip and did not know what to eat. I came across this place on IG and decided to give it a try. Upon arriving, there was a long line out the door of people waiting to get seated. We were able to put our name down for a reservation, so we waited about 5-10 minutes before we got seated. They sat us at the bar area and were greeted immediately by the baristas. The menu was a bit overwhelming, since everything looked sounded so good. Here is what we ordered: Zesty-quiles: We saw this was a crowd favorite so decided to give it a try. We added both Al Pastor and Arrachera to it. I would say both the meats were good but the beef was top notch. It was cook perfectly, medium rare and came soft and tender. The chilaquiles themselves were also good, but a little too zesty for me. It was a good sized portion for the price, and for sure something you can share. Next time, I would have to try the Verde-quiles. Mini Pan Conchas: Not usually a conchas fan because of how dry they can be but these were soooo good. They came out warm and so moist. I would come back here just for these, honestly. Buttery Caramelized Banana French Toast: The french toast texture was delicious. The outside was slightly crispy and the center was soft. I wished there was more whipped cream, but overall this dish was good! El Amanecido - This drink was a mock tequila sunrise, but was just average. Good to try but would not get it again. Guava Strawberry Margarita: This drink was perfectly sweet, but did not taste as much guava as I was expecting to. Also good but would not get again. Overall, definitely reserve a table before arriving. There is not much space inside, and it was packed on just a regular weekday. Service can be a bit spotty, as they forgot about a few things for us and confused orders. Nothing too major that would stop us from returning. From the moment I walked in the girls at the hostess stand were friendly, the ladies near the coffee/pastry area were super friendly & our waitress Maddy was AMAZING and hilarious! We were finally able to try this place as they've been busy since they've opened. We were seated quickly due to us stating we'd be fine sitting at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Everyone there is incredible welcoming and friendly. One of the servers there goes by Daniel/Danny, and he's great! Super attentive and has a great sense of humor. It's really cute inside with all of the pink and gold accents. The outdoor patio was nice as well, which was adjacent to the bar area. The food was really good! We ordered the birria tacos and the habanero chilaquiles with steak. On the menu it shows 5 chilis to indicate how spicy it is, and I will say it packs the heat, but still very good. The only reason why I didn't give it a full five stars was for the matcha latte. I ordered the strawberry version and it honestly just tastes like a strawberry milk. ( just 2of us - Posole and a Chilaquiles dish) They use a deafening mechanical noisemaker for Happy Birthday songs - hit us twice with that. Yikes. I'd sit outside in the future. When my wife told me she wanted to take me to a new restaurant she had frequented with her girlfriends, she explained that a New Mexican restaurant had opened since her last visit. I was sad when I thought it was the other restaurant, but it wasn't that great anyway. I'll just leave it at that. But I was pleasantly pleased just walking in. Decided to give this place a try today for some brunch. we met up with some friends and all had such a great time. for being a sunday it was super busy and we had to wait over an hour for a table because we had a group of 7. i ordered the mazapán latte and mini conchitas to start and the coffee tasted super burnt. i was not a fan of it. the mini conchitas though were good! would i order them again? no but for the experience it was cute. for the main dish i ordered a breakfast burrito and it was alright. it tasted super watery and made my tortilla soggy. overall it was a cute and very trendy spot but probably one of the spots i won't gravitate towards. read more
