If you are in need of a permanent laundry space or temporary accommodation for laundry this is the place! I highly recommend this laundromat. There is always an attendant available, however you may need to walk on the floor and find them if they are supporting other customers. Very decent price for wash and dry! Washers varies, however small/cheapest one is $4.50! Dry 20 minutes, 1 dollar. I believe .25 for 4 additional minutes. They have great customer service and very welcoming environment. read more

** THEY ALLOW PEOPLE IN WITHOUT MASKS** I've been dropping off clothes to them for years, expectations of clothes to come back in good condition should be a given. I dropped off hats to wash, they came back melted. I drop off shirts, they come back burnt and with holes. You expect your clothes to be taken care of but the worker has made it a point it's not their responsibility for clothes to come back in good condition (That's literally all that's expected from them ! ‍) Furthermore, I went washing and to pick up clothes that I dropped off earlier in the week and had the unpleasant surprise that they were allowing people in without masks. It wasn't cool when you're taking clothes out of a dryer and there's a person without a mask two feet away from you and the same worker not doing anything about it even after bringing it to their attention. I tried resolving my issue with my burnt shirts after getting home and noticing. He said he'll try taking care of one shirt even after explaining that many have been ruined. I am a long time customer of 8 years to this laundromat but several times I have had issues with the machines and staff will not make it right. I added $7.50 to one of the larger washing machines and when I came back the clothes were dry and the machine had not run. I asked for a refund to try a different machine and was denied. Omg this place is so nice!! Everything is super clean and the basic size washing machines are a really good price. Super convenient place for the Naglee Park/East SJSU area. I go here to do my laundry because the prices are so much better to wash/dry compared to what my complex charges. I usually come in the morning since House of Bagels is open and can get some food while I wait for my clothes to wash and dry. I recommend purchasing a cash card that you can put money in instead of asking the employees every time you're putting a load. Sometimes, there are a bunch of broken machines so there are fewer washers or dryers in service, but it seems like they get fixed fast. But, then again, I come every 3 or so weeks. There are some seating areas, but they can get occupied quickly depending on the time of day. The employees are really awesome, friendly, and super helpful, so don't hesitate to ask questions or need help with adding money to a load. Great service! read more

I'm going to start by saying PARK IN THE BACK! There is parking in the back of the shop passed the open gates. There's 30 min parking on the street only, but I wouldn't risk it for a parking ticket. Anyways -- This is the best laundromat in all of San Jose. I can't even believe there are anything other than 5 star reviews on here. The staff is SO sweet and friendly. I have never seen the shop in anything other than tiptop shape. It's incredibly clean, and the staff don't stop cleaning anyways. They are always working so hard and helping every single customer at all times. The prices are cheaper than I've seen in all downtown area. There's plenty of different washers and dryers and unlike some places, the washers don't stink here! They smell great actually! There's a boba shop next door for drinks, bagel shop across the street for breakfast and coffee, and a subway even if you wanted some sandwiches so you're not hungry while you wait for your clothes to finish. I moved to San Jose about a year ago and have been doing my laundry at this place some weekends or so, when I'm in the area. I had a tragic experience with a man inside of the building, who randomly hugged me from behind, and would not stop staring at me, even when the owner kicked him out. I think the owner knew I was frightened and walked with me to my car every time I needed to step out, very kind of him because it was dark at that time! He apologized and tried to assure that I was safe. I haven't been doing my laundry in public laundromats after that experience but decided to give it another shot today. I saw the same owner and he was very kind. He said "I don't see you around doing your laundry here anymore" and i thought it was nice of him to be that observant and stated "yeah I know all my customers!" Anyways! This laundromat is incredibly convenient due to its location as well as pricing. I have come here for a few weeks now and each time I've had a great experience and my clothes have been left fresh. Usually with any other laundromat the entire process will take about an hour and a half with wash and laundry. Here it is guaranteed you'll get done within the hour. Especially if you choose high temp for your dryer. Also FYI, it didn't shrink my clothes either. Overall super convenient for SJSU students especially those living off campus with minimal to no laundry room. The people are amazingly nice and are always looking out for the best way you can wash your clothes without hurting your pocket. This is where I go to whenever I have A LOT of laundry to do. I go to State and usually, I'll bring my laundry home to do it. But there are just some weeks where I get super lazy and don't do it for 2 weeks. But on top of that, I live with my boyfriend so we'll do our laundry together. Now his problem is, he doesn't do his laundry for a month at a time. And you must be wondering if he has a lot of clothes... Yes he does. Anyhow, that's the end of my personal story. Quickwash Laundry is a couple of blocks from where we live, so I'll come over here to do it. Plus, Quickwash offers wifi, which is VERY useful when you're a student and have to spend around 2 hours at the laundromat. I would probably go crazy if I had nothing to do for the 2 hours while waiting. And plus, I wouldn't leave my clothes there on their own. However, the wifi doesn't work very good here, BUT! All you have to do is hop onto San Carlos Pizza's (across the street) or Tapioca Express' (couple of doors down) wireless signal and you're good to go. The way Quickwash Laundry operates is that you buy an electronic card for $3.00 (refundable), and you add however much money onto it that you need. Each washer and dryer only accepts this electronic card. Once you're done using the card, you give it back to them and you get your $3.00 back. The pro's to this place: * Very clean facility * Clean carts to throw your clothes into after they've been washed/dried * Clean folding tables to throw your clothes amuck and then fold them. * Very friendly staff * LOTS of washer/dryers. And they also have hardcore commercial washers. And the dryers are humungous. You can fill about 4-5 washer loads into one of their dryers. And the dryer use is cheap here. Not really any con's to this place. It's kind of an old place, but who cares? They keep it clean and have tables for you to do homework or whatever at while you're waiting. AND they have their own parking lot. WOOHOO! So you don't need to do the whole street parking and walk a block with a 20 pound bag of dirty clothes. read more

Um... what happened? I put my loundry in well ahead of time, put it in the dryer and planned to be back in 30 minutes, 40 minutes before the stated closing time... Only to find the door locked with all my laundry inside! What am I supposed to wear to work tomorrow?? Had the closing time stated 10:00, I would have planned to come back before 10. But since it stated 11PM, I would expect to be able to pick up my dry loundry at 10:20. And they open too late for me to pick it up in the morning. Way to go. Will not be back. read more

I've been taking my laundry here after reading the previous reviews. The lady is really nice and quick to tend to you even though she is working on something else. There is also great wifi so I usually just bring my laptop while waiting for my laundry. You have to make a $3 deposit for the card. I love quickwash laundry! The owners are the nicest people and always give you a hand. There's an assortment of washer sizes to choose from, and it's in a great location right next to San Jose state. The perfect place to do laundry if you're a college student. It's also conveniently next to a pizza place, subway, a boba bar, a house of bagels, and a seven eleven so you can get a yummy snack while waiting for your laundry. AND there's WiFi!!! Argh, the washing machine in my building broke .. And obviously I wait until the last minute to do my laundry like the procrastinator extraordinaire I am! I walked here carrying 2 full loads in a laundry basket (which was, yes.. a feat in itself - but hey exercise yay!). The lady quickly greeted me and explained how it worked. She was helpful and even gave me the WiFi password on the spot as well.. So, as my laundry was washing I walked across the street and got some pasta then came back and my laundry was ready to be put in the dryer. Bear in mind, I had 2 FULL loads and the lady said it would fit in one dryer load.. Ahhhh yeaahhh she was right! 38 minutes and one episode of breaking bad later.. I was folding my clothes like a boss then on my way home! I'll be sure to come back here again if the machine in my complex is broken again. Great wifi now! The first time I went here the wifi was poached off of someone else. Now the wifi is password protected and all you need to do is ask the friendly asian ladies that work here, its MUCH MUCH better. I chose this place not for the location (it's 15 minutes walking away from me!) but for the maintenance and the fact the people here aren't going to mug me. The fact their wifi is MUCH better (hell perhaps even better than what I have at home) makes this my favorite laundromat now as I wash the laundry myself and have to wait. The service when you need it is great too. Laundry isn't fun by any means, but Quickwash makes it far less painful. Highly recommended. read more

I'm visiting San Jose for a while now and there is a time where I need to wash and have clean clothes but when looking for a place to do my laundry, there were a few places I check out before bringing my belongings to and whoa, talk about shady locations but one night I was walking by and there it was this quick wash location right next to the university. As a travel photographer, I do like to be safe and be in a location where it's going to be safe. Plus it was next to a subway, coffee shop, pizza spot, and a 7-eleven. It felt right and good and the next day, came back to clean my clothes and the owner (male at the time) was nice and gave me options to buy a card to reuse or let him know how much I am going to wash and he will just use his card to get the washer going. He knew right away I wasn't from this area, I guess I do give off that impression and started to talk about sports but I'm a baseball and soccer type. Then I kept coming back but this time on a Sunday morning to see how it was and this time a female (maybe his wife) was working and she was also sweet and best part, she told me you and I'd quote her" You I never seen before" we chatted and she told me there was FREE WIFI and I was like I'm all in now. So for the last 6 months, I've been coming back on Sunday's because I am traveling and have to have clean clothes. The best location to wash your clothing everyone and police are always around because there is the campus next to it. This place was great! Also the lady that works there was extremely helpful and I wanted to thank her. I haven't been to a laundromat since I was a child! It's pay by their cards so you go up to their counter. $3 deposit for the card and you put money on it. When you're done you return the card and they give you the $3 back plus what ever was left on the card. The washing machines were super clean and so were the dryers. The washer was quick and easy. For the small one I paid $1.50 for each washer. Then the dryers are huge and are 25 cent for 7 minutes! Deal! Also there are little machines were you can buy dryer sheets. You can even buy a clothes bag. This was is conviently placed next to a Subway so once you put yourself in the washer you can just walk over and get a sandwich. There are places to sit in Quickwash. I went on a Saturday at noon and was surprised by how empty it was. But once I left it started to get busier. So I recommend this place fo' sho'! read more

I have had multiple bad experiences dealing with the unfriendly and unhelpful staff here. In order to operate many of the machines, you need to buy one of their proprietary chip cards, which must be refilled with cash at a station inside the laundromat. The station is unreliable; often not accepting bills if they have even a little bit of wear. The mechanisms that are supposed to eject your card when you are done do not work, and haven't for months. The management seems in no hurry to fix them. There are often several "out of order" machines on any given occasion. I have had problems with the card readers on both washers and dryers not reading my card properly. Today I started a load of laundry in a dryer on high heat setting. After waiting the full time, I discovered that the clothes were still wet and cold. I spoke to the attendant in an effort to get refunded for the cost of the dry. She did not speak English very well, making it difficult for me to get my point across. When I finally did, she refused to do anything to compensate me for my loss of time and money. I was finally able to get a number to call the manager, but it went straight to voice mail. That is about the time I realized that it would be a better use of my time to give them a bad Yelp review instead. The bottom line... Bad service, unreliable machines. Today was the last straw. The place is old and pretty ghetto looking from the outside, but inside is kept clean and I've never had a problem getting enough washers/dryers, even when doing several loads at once. Although the prices are average, the machines are huge and plentiful. Another plus, there are lots of food places on the block (pizza, subway, tapioca express, bagels). I like to get some quick grub and take it back to quickwash where I can eat it at their food tables inside. The workers here are extremely friendly and helpful. I attend San Jose State University and recently got my wash card stolen making it hard for me to do laundry in my building so I decided to stop by this laundromat since it is walking distance to campus and I'm soo happy I did. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and people ready to help they told me how much I needed to wash the amount of clothes I had made sure I knew how much soap I needed to wash and pointed me to the best washer to get my clothes done. I came here on an early Wednesday because my dryer broke. Tiffany showed me how to use the dryer and purchase a card to use the machines. I've been going hey since my second semester at SJSU. This place has tons of machines to suit all your needs. They have some really huge machines in the back too if you need to do one massive load of laundry. The majority of the machines use a card system. A card costs like 5$ and you can use the machines on the wall to reload the card. This is so convinenent not having to lug a huge bag of quarters around just to do laundry. The staff is nice and will help you if you need it. The only problem is the bigger machines are a little pricey and some parts of the place are a little dirty. Buy either than that it's a great place to do laundry! read more
