Attention to detail is their motto - Pick up day after scheduled, drop off next business day after service, always 'drawer ready' for laundry and press or dry clean right to the closet. I never experienced any shrinkage or fading at all, which I myself am the source when doing my own shirts and one of the biggest 'feather in their cap' is I am only aware of two misplaced items in over 10-years, both of which were found and returned. tried their service out on a whim yesterday, i really had to do my laundry and had no time going to the laundromat. at first, i was skeptical and nervous because of all of the mixed reviews i've seen about the business online. i just thought screw it and booked the service anyway if it was a bad experience then its another lesson learned if its good then thats a win. today i just got my laundry back and all my clothes came back clean and neatly folded in their purple bags. i was billed $100.88 and got a discount as a first time user (with free pick up and delivery). the driver who picked up and delivered my clothes was also super nice and even managed to give me a call once he was here. it is true that they won't answer your calls most of the time i can just assume it is bc they're very busy but during the process they managed to send a text message regarding eta. i did keep calling bc i was scared i live in a sketchy area and leaving my clothes outside isn't a great idea. live tracking options will definitely be a plus but they do send out emails and text messages with pick up and delivery. for the clothes: the whites weren't really as white as i wanted them to be despite adding the bleach option and additional scents to make them smell good but despite that all in all i'd say it was still pretty good. i mean my clothes were clean and they helped me out big time by saving me so much time and effort. i'm glad i took a chance and i will definitely be booking a service with laundry care express again read more

But after the second time.. well.. I agree with other reviewers when it comes to Laundry Care Express drivers. Update on the previous review - the business called me and corrected the price, apparently the d/c didn't know if it's ok to wash the shirts. Just no dress shirt folding any more, which is apparently out of fashion here! :) -- I hate to leave low ratings but it's so impossible with this one - I used their delivery dry cleaning service for the first time because the three local dry cleaners I frequent all went out of business after Covid. I decided to give them a try. I sent in a test bag of one coat and 8 shirts, under the expectation they will be ironed and folded at a price of $3.69 each, as per their website. But no, I got charged for 10 dollars each for the shirt!! They decided to dry clean them... I have been using dry cleaners to wash and iron these without a problem!! The Laundry Express DELIVERY SERVICE! It is very reasonable, I've experienced same day or at most next day turnaround. My clothes come back PERFECTLY folded. I started using service because I didn't have a car, to go to Laundry Express. But I have a car now, and I've decided to continue the service. The time saving, is well worth it. I don't have extra money, and I'm on a very tight budget, this service is well worth it. Eric is very nice, professional and extremely dependable. Well worth the slight extra money. They keep losing your clothes. The shipment that they return either belongs to someone else or is incomplete as they've lost at least a few of my clothes during the dry cleaning process. Breakdown of charges was also never clear. Not going to use their service ever in future. read more

Don't get service here, few items came back damaged/bleached, and the rest dirty with spots, like never washed. Their policy is it to refund only up to 30$ per damaged item and if multiple items damaged, they will return only 150$ max. And they don't care how much your item cost and if it is new or not. They damaged my new t-shirt from Tory burch, which was purchased for over 70$. I submitted receipt with the date of purchase and price, they returned back only 30$. Also, I called them multiple times, left voice messages, their management was hiding, never answered the phone and I never received call back from them regarding this matter. I never received my first pick up. I put the laundry out the night before and at 3pm I got a notice that I had a missed delivery fee. I called and reported this. I received a text apologizing for the missed pick up but they said the driver said he was here at 9:04 am. I have a nest camera and I looked at it and can confirm he never arrived. The agent said again that this was a newer member and offered a Monday pickup and a $10 credit. I declined. Will not use these folks again. Edit 4/22 In reply to the comment left by the company. It was a Friday when the pick up was scheduled. I was home all day (I was in a cast and this could not leave the house). My partner came over Thursday night to put the laundry out (remember... cast) so I know it was outside. Our security camera never showed that anyone even drove past our house when the driver said they were there. They offered a new pick up... on Monday... this was after I called them to see what had happened after receiving an automatic charge. I hope it's clear that they will try to protect themselves at all costs instead of admitting there was a fault in their systems. read more

I live in a pricey 400 sq ft shack in Saratoga so I can commute to my Silicon Valley tech job. There's no washer/dryer, hookups or even space for them. I tried the portable washer/spinner but it was a science project to set up and operate and I was still hanging clothes up everywhere to dry (indoors during many months). Doing your own laundry at the laundrymat isn't fun (hot, humid, boring, noisy) or cheap (detergent, softener, dryer sheets, coins to operate the equipment, travel, time). Enter "Laundry Care Express". Now I stuff the purple bag with items to wash and fold/hang and the green bag with dry cleaning/mending/stains. I leave the bags on my tiny porch (located in the back of a large estate) on Thursday mornings before I leave for work. When I return home on Friday after work my clean clothes are on hangers on my deck (securely wrapped) and my other laundry is folded PERFECTLY! It's so easy to put things away now! No more piles of dirty clothes (they go into one of the bags) or clean clothes (they are placed into drawers or hung immediately). And these peeps are not snobs. I have sent them FILTHY items that come back unrecognizably clean! I have sent in dog beds, dog toys, filthy slippers, welcome mats, rugs, disgusting cleaning rags and a comforter that had dog pee on it. They even sewed a skirt that had split at the back slit (I'm always splitting skirts there!) Anywho...my life is changed. Now, if they would only branch into Dish washing (of course I don't have a dishwasher either, so it's paper plates and plastic utensils until they do!). read more

7.1.21 *UPDATED REVIEW* Alright y'all, as you can see from what I first wrote and when I wrote it, some time has passed since then and I'm pleased to report the company has reached out to us to make amends. Besides the obvious frustration of basically losing my entire wardrobe, it was rather concerning that we couldn't reach anyone and when we did, no one wanted to own up to anything. However, Eric, attempted phone contact several times and then messaged me. He was very professional about the situation, acknowledged and took ownership for the driver's mistake (I know my initial review was scathing, but I'll cut the driver some slack, because he's new and I'll even admit that I used to get lost in our complex when I first started living here lol). With that being said, I'm willing to give them another try. Just know that if your clothes are lost or something like what we experienced happens, you'll be offered around $25 in credit towards your next service. Here's to hoping we don't regret our decision 6.2.21 I'm so sad to have to give this place such a poor rating. They got me through SEVERAL loads of quarantine laundry (we live in an apt complex with a single laundry room). We started using laundry care express in maybe April or May of 2020 and we'd pretty much schedule pickups once a month to every two weeks. The service up til this point was pretty great. They were usually very communicative with any problems - we had 2 different instances where our clothes were left on car and not dropped off the next business day - but the owners made sure we were the first stop the following day. This last time we scheduled a pickup for Wednesday (5/23/21) expecting our clothes to be returned the next day. Generally our clothes are delivered in the afternoon before 4pm. I'm a dispatcher for UPS so I know routes are complicated and there's no accurate ETA to provide to customers. Around 4:45, we contact the company just to make sure our delivery will be made, seeing as they close at 5. The rep assured us our clothes were on the truck and would be delivered. I'm sitting in the living room after work waiting for the knock on the door, but it never comes. We call again around 7 - we called all related business lines but no one answered. My boyfriend texts the owner and gets a response saying our delivery was made at 5:41pm. I know it's impossible as I'm checking the door every 15 min, so now we're going back and forth trying to see if we can figure out what happened to essentially my entire wardrobe. Mind you, the owner continues to TEXT us, saying he's gotten into contact with the driver. The driver contacts my boyfriend and this is where things take a turn. As we're trying to figure out if he even made it into our complex, the driver says that he remembers the clubhouse in our complex and states he delivered our clothes near the building. The driver stated that the unit # is not on our tag so he had a hard time. The driver proceeds to say that he didn't realize we had more than 1 "unit #8" in the complex and just "dropped it off at the first #8 I saw". Odd, how he knew the unit was supposed to be 8 but claimed our tags didn't have any indication of that. The driver just tried to cover up his mistake by giving us bogus and unprofessional excuses. Luckily, after almost an hour of searching our complex we did find our clothes. The owners never apologized and proceeded to charge me for the full service despite not technically "delivering" anything by losing all of our clothes. Please, if you can, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. They employ unprofessional people and your clothes are not safe in their care. If your stuff gets lost, you're simply SOL here. read more

They are ok for basic needs and for convenience. (There is little more convenient than pickup/drop off at your door!) However, there is absolutely no care taken with the clothes. Instructions are not followed. ex. my lights have obviously been washed with darks. I shouldn't have to provide the instruction to not do this but I did and it still was not followed. I also ask that my socks not be rolled together. (This stretches the cuffs!) Yet, almost every single time they are done this way. I've also received clothing back damaged or shrunken. And misjudgment on the type/size of blankets. I was charged for a down comforter when I don't even own any. Everything does come back folded better than I can do myself and it has always been next business day turnaround. I would wait an extra day for better care of my clothes though. read more

Since zero stars isn't an option... I've sent things out before to this company and had them come back in not-great shape... but I was in a bind and needed lots of laundry done in a short amount of time, since I have relatives in town this weekend. So, I sent out clothes, towels, sheets and bath mats to be cleaned and delivered the next day. I get home to find less than half of the laundry I sent out cleaned and delivered. Everything else is MISSING. These are nice sheets, bath mats, towels and clothing that are MISSING. Hundreds of dollars. I didn't get a note, a bill, anything... I've contacted them regarding the issue. Let's hope they can fix this QUICKLY and refund me for all the sh*t they didn't deliver on time... if they ever end up delivering it, that is! Regardless, I'll never be using this unreliable and irresponsible service again. UPDATE: Just getting around to updating this. I gave up on getting back to them regarding the items they "found" for me. I got one sheet back (no mate), bath mats and two towels that weren't mine (??). Um, this is basically the BEST THING EVER! Step 1: Leave your laundry in trash bags (or laundry bags if you got 'em) outside of your front door. Step 2: Get clean, folded laundry delivered to your door the next day! Ah!! I love it so much! They took great care of my clothes, and they came back in nice heavy-duty laundry bags marked with laminated tags for my name and address. Seriously, couldn't be happier. Price wise, I had around 40 lbs of laundry and it cost ~$65. (It was a LOT of laundry, including sheets and towels.) So awesome. read more

Very convenient, and they did an excellent job with all of our laundry and we had a LOT. They paid attention to all of our requests like not drying our jeans and other delicate items. They hung them wet on hangers, and folded other items even our panties/underwear! I never fold my panties. I just stuff them in the drawer when I do laundry. Because they did such a great job folding them and other items that go into drawers, my panties and Tshirts look so nice and neat all folded in my drawers. I am trying to keep it that way. John the driver picked up all of our laundry at our home and dropped them off at my work. He's so nice, the kinda guy I could easily see going to catch the game with after work at a sports bar. I wanted to hug him when he showed up at my workplace with all of our clothes in big purple bags and on hangers. :) I gave four stars instead of five because we received a bit of sticker shock..nearly $200.00. I knew we had a lot of laundry including comforters, sheets, and towels, but we would've really appreciated to be given a heads up or an estimate of some kind, especially since we were in communication with the manager. It's quite unsettling to receive such a high charge without an estimate beforehand. I would like to use Laundry Care Express again, but my husband is a bit skeptical. I suggested to him that we don't give them the comforters and towels next time, but I think he's afraid of receiving sticker shock again, which is likely due to not being given an estimate or a ball park figure of some kind despite both of us being in communication with the manager on separate occasions. UPDATE: So, it turns out they charge you double, and then knock off half. If they had mentioned that prior to booking, I would have been significantly less shocked. Since writing my initial review, I have sent my laundry in 5-6 more times. There is always someone different folding, but all in all, I would definitely change my review, and say, that this service (if you have the money), is worth it. I thoroughly enjoy not wasting my free time doing laundry. I hate doing laundry. And with my job rarely have the time. But seriously... if you advertise charging $1.89/lb of laundry, then you should actually charge that amount! I weighed my bags of laundry on two separate occasions. The first one was pretty expensive at $50 for everything, but that included dry-cleaned items, so ok fine. The second load, which was wash and Fold only was $73!!! For only 29lbs of clothes! How is that even possible! I will NEVER be using this service again. You can't advertise one thing and then just go back on what you have listed. There was nothing special about these clothes, I didn't have special instructions. Just throw them in, take them out and return them clean. This is not worth the price. We live in an apartment with questionable washers. We work hard and I treat myself to others doing the thing I like least, laundry. It's pricey, but 100% worth it. They can do it all from wash & fold to dry cleaning. You get it back in 24 hours and they pick up and drop off! They fold perfectly and even put certain garments on hangers. This company is amazing. I leave embarrassingly large bags of laundry with hangers on my doorstep and in one day everything is returned to me on hangers or is neatly folded. I currently live alone on the second story of my apartment. The complex actually has a lot of laundry facilities, however I work so much it's really convenient to do it all at once. Laundry baskets, timers, stairs it was just too much for me. I will be moving this weekend to a house and will probably not need their services as often. Probably just dry cleaning or large items. Love the laundry service, it is such a time saver. No more dry cleaning or pressing for me since I am happily not employed. Not having a laundry day is very freeing. I have a gained 52 unwash days a year and that is incredible. No more laundry day with piles of whites and darks deployed in my family room floor. I send them everything but my dainties and cashmere. They are easy to contact and so far my only problems I made myself by not checking in or watching my text and email. This has been a great gift to to me, my family and friends. Since traffic has become a daily obstacle to be avoided, I appreciate someone else fighting that fight for me. I do not expect a precise committment to pickup and delivery. Over-sized comforters won't fit in my front loader and the thought of hanging out at a laundromat - well, it's not how or where I want to spend my free time.
