I called them desperate because literally every one of my son's room/teammates were positive for Covid, except my son, and his landlord removed their washer and dryer for renovations. Update: I have never given a poor review, however, after my recent interactions with Mari I feel compelled to share. I doubt my negative experience will affect anyone from using her services but maybe it will help with your interactions. Her contract and her verbal communication were contradictory, however, she agreed to remove me from my contract (30 day notice) if I gave her a good review (to which I did, below). Right afterwards I noticed the charges on my credit card for the last 2 pick ups she doubled my fees. I called to ask her about this and she was very rude ... going back to contract (already resolved), stating I was wasting her time and constantly questioning why I was "confused." When she did locate receipts she admits the last 2 services were the same number /size of bags but 8lbs more in weight causing the increased charges. This wasn't accurate, but, I didn't want to fight it anymore. My recommendation is to ensure you are getting your weekly weight of clothes and what she is charging you before she does the transaction. Other than the issues outlined about her quality of wash/folding is good. Mari and her team are great. Her communication is very timely and the quality of the service is exceptional. I'm so thankful for iDoLaundry and they offer free pick up and delivery. I recently moved into an apartment complex and I been very busy with all the moving that I have not had time to schedule an appointment for a pick up. I have used other laundry services before and they have not been as good. The last laundry service I used does not service my area, and my neighbors recommended me to iDoLaundry. I was a little skeptical about trying a new service, but had no choice. I called IDoLaundry and right away I felt taken care off. On my first try that my clothes came back I was like Yesssss! I just discovered this hidden gem through a family member and I LOVE them! It was really easy to schedule a pick up time and location online and they came exactly on time the next day, down to the minute! They took all my bagged up clothes and blankets and brought them back the same time the next day, all clean and folded, some on hangers, smelling amazing. This was my first time using this company I was really excited to try it out based on all the good reviews. Initially it was rather difficult to get someone on the telephone I had to try and leave messages several times without a call back, but eventually someone did call me back and I then set up service. I like that she offers unscented options because most places don't have this option it's just tide and downy so I really liked she offered this. After trying and getting mine and my children's clothes back this morning upon opening the bags the smell of body odor reaked as they did before I sent them out to her. Clothing was separated ok now the best and everything was wrinkled and folded in a hurry and not very good at all. It didn't smell like the downy I requested her to use just like old musty clothes and some of the clothing was still damp and therefore extremely wrinkled. She charges more than DOUBLE than any other service company out here in the Bay Area you would expect much better care for the clothes and for them to come out good. They aren't even fluffy and soft they came out very itchy and ruff I just don't understand why it came out so bad. Completely dissapointed. Asked for future services to be cancelled paid almost 100 down the drain, use a different company save your money. read more
