I use this spot to wash blankets since I have a mini wash/dry at home I like it bc you can use cash instead of card. One guy said it's the cheapest laundromat that's why he goes there. This place is a Zoo! We come here to wash and ensure our clothes are clean! Instead you walk into people and employees bringing their cats and dogs! Dogs laying on the floor and one having to shoo them so you can comfortably move between the isles. Cats freely on the countertops where one should be folding clothes. What is this? I've been coming here for a couple months and the people that own this place are great. One time a machine I was using wasn't working (wasn't drying clothes) and they gave me more quarters and helped me. Super nice people! Quarter operated and there are three coin exchange machines. Price ranges from $1.75, $3.25, and $4.25 depending on what size washer you need. Dryers are $0.25/8 minutes $0.75 if you need to use their supplies such as detergent. All washers and dryers seem to be working so that's good. read more

This place is decent enough. It's a fairly average laundromat that deserves 3 stars or so. It is $1.00 to wash and $0.25 to dry per 8 minutes. So all in all, it is about $2.00 per load. Well, unless you need to a super large load for a comforter. Then it takes $3.75 just to wash. So your comforter takes about $5 to wash and dry. And sometimes, a guy just needs to wash his sheets to get rid of the sweat, pubes, snail trails, booty butter, liquid dream juice, cookie crumbs, fleas, spiders, random chest hairs, random face and hair oil, drool, hairs of different colors and lengths, food stains, and other unmentionables. This place does have a few sitting areas, but it is too hard to read since the patrons speak really bad Spanish. In addition, the washers and dryers are too loud to enjoy the tiny TV in the corner. It is best to leave this joint and go hang out at the adjacent Queen's doughnut shop. But the real reason I am docking this place 1-star is because the bathroom is wretched. The attendant has to open the door with the key and then you are in a bathroom right out of Seven, Fight Club, or Trainspotting. It is hideous. Clean up your act, or in this case, your bathroom and I will be happy to add one more star. read more

I haven't been to the laundry mat in years, but I was doing some major cleaning around the house and had multiple loads to do so I thought I'd give it a try and get all of my laundry done in one shot. I went in at around 8pm and was immediately greeted by a gentleman who was wiping down machines. I wasn't quite sure how to work the machines at first and he answered all of my questions with patience and a smile on his face. I was there for two hours and he was was cleaning the machines after each use and making sure the floors and countertops stayed clean and dry the entire time. This man also greeted and interacted with all of the customers, it was definitely customer service at its best! Parking was easy and well lit and I had no problems with people loitering outside. Overall it was a great experience (as great as doing 10 loads of laundry could be) and I will be back the next time I have a big job. Also, the machines did an excellent job! read more

I live a few blocks away and have been washing my clothes here since 2009. I have tried other places but nothing compares. The place is a little outdated but thats ok. Its the family that runs it that has kept me coming back all these years. That and the prices, can't beat it. I am and always will be a loyal customer. I have met some good people here. Yeah, sure every once in awhile you get the run of the mill person but what place doesnt? The owners take pride in their business and they take interest in keeping their customers happy. Low prices, clean wash, dry clothes, and personal service for those who don't have the time to do laundry. My washing machine broke and while waiting for repairs I took a few loads here for the full service treatment. When I picked them up and got them home, I couldn't believe how soft my sheets and socks were. I didn't know my clothes could get so soft and so clean. Now I just take all of my laundry there. I usually drop off early morning and pick up that evening. They charge $1 per pound which, for my clothes usage, comes out to a very reasonable weekly cost. Love it! read more

Dear Shameless Competitor, A deceitful Yelp review such as yours is found to be unnecessary; it also clearly shows an exhibit of poor business ethics, personal lack of knowledge, creativity, and soul. Your initial passage with the mention of bedbugs irks because me because it is not something that is to be taken lightly. According to Civil Code §1954, by law, these types of infestations are reported to the city, which I did curiously investigate and was unable to find anything, as suspected. By the use of deduction, the tenting you may have witnessed was more likely to be for a treatment of termites. In actuality, these white ants dwell in dead plant material (such as the wood used to erect these older San Jose homes would probably be prime real estate these colonies). If there was any chance of the possibility for termites to be hitchhiking their way into a laundromat, I SUPPOSE the possibility may be for two of the following reasons: 1) Pinocchio, himself, has a passion of washing his clothes and often frequents this place due to the welcoming atmosphere this establishment gives, or 2) laundry customers bring in sawed-off pieces of their home's infrastructure to have it cleaned and/or dried - but then again, the heat from the dryers would kill off any living creatures, should there be any to begin with. I do, however, whole-heartedly agree with you about the tamales from the donut shop next door; they are pretty amazing, along with the donuts (when they are freshly made, of course). With that being said, your level of cleanliness simply raises an eyebrow. Why, oh why would you ever purchase food from a place with so many awful critters you claim that are running around this area? Never would I even THINK twice about eating from somewhere or even near the vicinity of cockroaches. Sure, of course you would feel safer washing your personal delicates across the street - Aren't you so glad that the Mommy/Daddy insects tell their army of children that they are NOT allowed to cross the street, and doing so, they would have to suffer the consequences. I really wonder how insects discipline their young. But seriously, I'm new to the area and not here to start any trouble. I had recently become a regular at VIP Launderland for their bigger washer and dryers to take care of my family's bedding. Being that I am a people-watcher by nature, I notice things all around me. I see that this place is well-kept and there should be no reason why there would be any so-called "bugs" found here; otherwise, one would not find me continuing to wash my personal belongings without any worries here what-so-ever. For many businesses, constructive criticism found on Yelp is appreciated. One would use this to their advantage in order to make the necessary improvements to stay successful. But think about this: do you sleep better at night knowing that lies had to be made in order to downplay on a preexisting laundromat (a small one that is family-ran, nonetheless) to gain a few customers of your own? Thank goodness for the location and price at this laundromat. The owner is very cool, always very nice and helpful and he keeps the place spic and span. Really can't complain! As for people's comments about other people's appearance at the laundromat, where do you think you are? The club? Why do you care so much about how people look anyways?! This is a place where people mean business - they get their stuff washed and keep it pushing. I lived down the street. ..two words..bed bugs. The nasty apartments next to me got circus tented..I watched all of the people washing all their stuff in that nasty laundromat. That whole strip mall is infested with roaches. I feel bad for the one decent place, the donut shop..I love those tamales they sell, girl brings em in from the east side every morning. That laundromat has grimy people, homeless people come in & try to jack your clothes or just sleep on the folding tabkes..(eww) thankfully the new place opened ip, I'll pay a little more not to have contaminated clothes. I mean the reason we go to the laundromat is to clean them right? I doubt they are going to stay in business long..great drug buy spot I'm guessing, see it all the time too. read more

There are washers and dryers in my apt complex that work fine, but I decided to try this place out because I save at least 2 bucks per laundry day and I can control how long my stuff spends in the dryer. The dryers are uber powerful. At my apt a load takes 40 -50 mins to completely dry. I dried a load for 24 mins and that was already too much as some clothes came out nubby and shrunken. Money and time saved makes it worth it, but it's also a place with a bit of character. There's a TV showing telenovelas, the owners are a very friendly Chinese couple and always at the ready to help, the clientele is a diverse mix. There's a spacious folding area. A donut shop next door to grab some donut holes while waiting. It's a nice place to just chillax while doing laundry on the weekend. read more
