Clean, spacious & attendant was great, could've went somewhere else for detergent but I gave the guy the business cause he was very helpful. A variety of washer sizes to your price range, the card system wasn't so bad if you buy $20 on it you get $3 extra. Thank you Lee Laundromat read more

I've been coming here for more years than I care to ad admit. They're reliable and clean. The down side is because they use a card system, you have to make sure you have enough money on it at all times, have cash on you (in 2023? Haha jk), a bank close by (but lose parking), or pay those atm fees. I've learned to ignore the owner. It's hard to know if our conflicts are culture differences, misogyny, personality quirks, who knows. I'm just here to wash my clothes man...I don't want drama. Biggest downside is the parking lot is shared with a million and one other busy businesses so you have limited parking and you'll occasionally run into a *Karen* who's gonna want be ALL IN YOUR BUSINESS. Lunch/food tip: the Kebab deli run out of the store with the same in this parking lot- has BOMB food. The pizza joint and the Thai place are pretty good too. read more

Lee Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - San Jose, California

This laoundromat is a joke. The old people that manage this place close down at 7 and go home at 8pm, once im done with my credit here I'm cutting my card up and never coming back here again. Don't come here after 8pm most likely will be closed or denied entry read more

I had been coming here for about 9 years and stopped about a year ago. I went recently and was disgusted at the number of roaches roaming the washers!!! I was in disbelief ! read more

Lee Laundromat is always super clean. The guy working there is constantly walking around wiping down the machines and whatnot. It does get busy here in the weekends but come early and its nice! read more

The facilities were very clean and well organized, and the people who worked there were beyond helpful!

Very clean and hard working staff. This is by fa the best wash and fold service that i have ever used. The staff are professional and on-time finish. I'd go back again if my w/d are out of commission again. read more

There is a reason i don't like to use public laundromats for a reason but unfortunately the one at my place was being replaced . Not only did the owner follow me around the entire time i was here and would just stand from a distance and watch me . When the machine i was using broke down he refused to give me my money back and claimed it didn't work because i had a lot of clothes in my dryer . I obviously did not . He then proceeded to grab my clothes when i asked him not to touch them and just moved them to a different dryer . I will be trying to get my money back by contacting my lawyer it's just annoying wasting even a dime in such a horrible business but regardless I am never using a public laundromat again much less this one . After reading a couple reviews this owner is definitely racist . DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK ! My father is mexican he recommended me to come here as he's never had an issue but i a black woman had a horrible experience . read more

Lee Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - San Jose, California

I am in the middle of a move and can't access my washer dryer for another week. Went to this joint and OMG. There is not a single person to answer any of your questions and the owners feel it's their job just to collect money. Their system for payment is not user friendly and they definitely are overpriced. I feel sorry for anyone at the mercy of this place. I actually went to a different one a few days ago and after this experience will definitely be doing a review on the other business. Zero customer service here. Too many laundromats to choose from. Go somewhere else. Also, there's a sign that face masks are mandated but the policy is not enforced. The only upside to this place is that the owner does sweep constantly and keeps the place clean. But don't expect to go there and have anyone answer a question for you. Also it seems their industrial machines are preset to benefit anyone other than the customer. Money pit. Shame on this place for taking advantage of the disenfranchised. read more

I've grown to like this place. The last few times I've been here... There's a guy manning the kiosk who's a lot more friendlier. This helps especially when you hate doing laundry. I have also been coming at different times of the day on a weekday or a weekend. Never has been crowded and there is always enough machines and folding not space to go around. It's always nice and clean. So I was using two different driers and what do you know I had two free cycles. Don't know if this happens often but it did with me! I'm happy coming next here! read more

Fantastic place, lots of machines and plenty of room. The attendant was very helpful and kind. We will definitely recommend and return!

My washing machine at home died, so I needed to go to the laundromat (of course.) we've used Lee's in the past for oversized things like sleeping bags, but not regular clothes. We couldn't find the required card, so had to purchase a new one. The attendant was helpful because, evidently, 2 people with advanced degrees are clueless wonders! Got our new card loaded with money and then immediately became overwhelmed with choices. Do we do multiple small loads? Do we take advantage of the 2x, 3x, or 4x capacity washers? How much soap? (We've been doing laundry for 40 years. I swear we are not idiots!) Attendant to the rescue again! He was so nice and understanding! He encouraged us to use the 2x washer and load it up. "More! More!" "Use 3 Tide pods!" 30 mins later we walked out with 3 baskets of squeaky clean clothes! Our dryer is alive and well, so we dried things at home. I have to say this place is cleaner than my own laundry room. The attendant was constantly picking things up, sweeping, etc. The patrons were neat and respectful of other people's needs for space. There were multiple commercial carts to use for free. There seemed to be 100 washers and dryers, seriously. Not a speck of dirt in sight! Also they have multiple options for purchase if you need any laundry products. Highly recommend! read more

I usually love doing laundry here except I don't anymore. The old man that's usually there walks around and switches everyone's hot water to warm... I'm sure they're doing this to save themselves money. I watched him very carefully do this. Mind you I changed it back and he went around again and changed my water setting twice after that. This time I sat and watched, every new person that walks in he switches it as soon as they walk away. I paid to wash my clothes in HOT water. I now hate this place. Smh. As I type this I'm watching the old man switch everyone else's washers to warm also. read more

This is a joke this laundry some one recommended my clothes go stuck in the machine l, I ask the employee who work here for help she told me not her problem that the machine is broke , so I ask call ur boss or someone to come and open the machine for me and she told me no boss so I'm wondering who?????? Clean facility, great washers/dryers but the owner is annoying and I think he may be racist he was really rude to me and as I was sitting in my car around 7:30 (15 minutes away from my cycle being done) when the facility closes at 9 he approached me and told me that I need to hurry and wash my clothes there was another lady washing, sitting in her car waiting for her wash cycle she was white, and he didn't approach her there's just a long list of everything he's done and I've only been here 45 minutes he also lied to me and told me it closes at 8:30 when it closes at 9 read more

This place is VERY clean and the man that works there, he's very helpful. He's not racist! I only go there to wash my comforters, maybe once/year. If you forget to take ur laundry supplies, they sell it there but you need to make sure to have cash to do your laundry as well. They have various sizes of machines. I'd recommend to go there! read more

I've never been to a laundromat but wanted to wash all of my curtains, washable rugs etc without doing a million loads so came here. Parking isn't great but the laundromat itself is very large with tons of machines. I clearly looked lost and confused and the gentleman working this afternoon came up to me and very kindly assisted me in finding the right size machine etc. then loading money onto the laundry card, adding time to the dryer etc. he was very nice & friendly and I appreciated the unsolicited but much needed help! read more

At least few times a year, I visit a laundromat. Not my fav chore. But Lee's laundromat makes it almost painless except that I have to lug around big blankets.....ugh! It is always clean and the machines work. But if you get there a little late....forget about it. They won't let you start. Oh and the parking can be rough because it is in a shopping center where several stores have designed parking spots. read more

Clean, new/renovated laundromat! Plenty of washers and dryers, vending machines, and benches to sit and wait . The guy that works there is always friendly, and cleaning. The lady that works there is always cleaning, though I've never talked to her. They give you a deal if you load your laundry card with a $20, last time I checked. You get more bang for your buck on the dryers there, than anywhere else in the area! -Similar to my posting of Lee's on Leigh / Southwest. read more

Ok here's the thing... it's a laundromat! Not sure why people are expecting Nordstrom customer service here lol. I go every week and the older Vietnamese guy is super helpful. If I'm ever unsure if something will fit in certain washers, he will tell me. Not to mention they have free wifi so I usually grab a coffee from McDonald across the street and catch up on work. Me weekly routine:) read more

For the most part the laundromat is great! It's clean, and has a lot to offer in which other places don't. But come on! I feel as if majority of the time when I come in, and the manager with the glasses is working he is extremely rude. There has been various occasions that he just stares at me to make me feel uncomfortable and then comes up to me and tells me, "you have two minutes till your washer is up." Uhm, sir I am aware of that! I am only on a timed schedule. I am a busy women. Then to top it off he literally came up to me tonight and told me to move because he had to mop. I'm sorry but that is not MY problem, nor any other customers. You close at 9PM SO DO YOUR CLOSING DUTIES LIKE ANY OTHER STORE! I'd personally like to know who the owner is and why they continue to let their managers be rude. read more

My usual spot to come on the weekends, but that has changed. Got off work late today and checked to see what time the Lee's closed. Saw that it was at 9pm and pulled up to the store at 7:35pm, by the time I walked into the store with 4 loads it was 7:40. As I began to pull out my clothes the manager came over to me and said I could do just one. The store closes at 9pm, that gave me an hour twenty minutes to do 4 loads with plenty of machines open. Completely unprofessional. I would understand if I came in at 8:40, but this is ridiculous. Congrats, you've lost a customer. read more

I rarely, if ever, have the occasion to go to a laundromat except on the rare occasions that I can't fit an item into my own washer and dryer at home like blankets and comforters. It's that time of the year when it's getting chilly in the mornings, so it was time to pay a visit to the laundromat. I go the International Food Bazaar that is near here, so I decided that I would check out the location. I've been to the one on Leigh before, and decided to mix it up a bit. First, it's super, super, super clean. I mean bordering on immaculate in there. This chain has embraced technology and utilize credit-type cards that you load up with money first rather than having to use coins. Big plus in my mind. Only thing that kinda sucks is that they charge $1 to initialize the card, so if you don't use it very often (like me) make sure you don't misplace the card. I used the largest of their machines which cost $7.25 for the load, and then their largest dryer which was like $1.25 for 15 minutes. I was there on a Thursday night, and can honestly say that it was dead in there. It was actually nice not having to deal with a mass of humanity like I normally have to at the laundromats I've been to before. They are offering free use of the dryers on Wednesdays through January 2009. Definitely worth a try if you need to wash larger items that may not fit at home. PS I got to watch Oprah when I was there. It was super exciting. read more

Pros : The machines all work great Their ATM system is awesome-you can just recharge your card and you don't have to worry about quarters or anything like that Pretty big place and very clean. Pretty empty unless you go on Wednesdays when its FREE DRYER DAY! No kids running around....well maybe except for ours :D Cons: They claim to close at 11, and last wash is at 10 yet we arrived at 9 ish and were told we should come back the next day...who knows...maybe the laundry operator had a hot date that night. Other than that we are pretty happy with this place and will come back! read more

This place is clean and there are tons of newer-model washers and dryers but the owner is annoying. She is this mid-aged Vietnamese woman who always hits on the fiance as well as the vending machine guy who comes in 10 minutes before the place closes. They often sneak into the one-stall bathroom together.... not sure what they're doing there! Another thing that's annoying is the fact that she always locks the doors 10 minutes before closing, while we're still in the building. What if something happens and we need to make an emergency exit? She's super sweet and flirty with the fiance but always throws attitude at girls, so I guess my only advice is to bring a boy with you if you do your laundry here! read more

In my 47 years on earth, I've never seen such a neat, clean, organized laundromat. I made the mistake of getting quarters at the bank but they are not accepted. You must buy a card for $1 and then add money. They have an atm on site that costs $1. They have a nice tv and free wifi, clean bathrooms and very reasonably priced laundry soap, fabric softener, and other laundry supplies. I was shocked at the selection and decent prices. If I ever get behind on my laundry again or need to wash pillows and blankets, I will no doubt be coming back here. read more

This place is super clean but other than that I'm totally uninchanted. I used to go to oasis until new owners took over and raised the prices. This place is in the same neighborhood so I started coming here instead. They have the card system, no quarters. I'm not a huge fan of this system but it is what it is. My biggest issue is the guy who walks around and mops right where you're standing. You'll walk away to get your clothes and he'll come mop where you were sitting so you can't sit there anymore. Also they close at 9....so why at 8:20 does he start asking me how much longer? Super rude! read more

Lee Laundromat is the cleanest nicest looking and feeling laundromat I've ever been to in my life. It's warm and nice in there and the huge expanse of washers all worked. I used two super loads to get all my laundry done and spent about three hours there in total. My only problem with the place is the dryers didn't work almost at all. I put my clothes in on high twice and they still were pretty wet. I folded them anyway and they're sitting in boxes, I'm waiting for them to dry out a day later. :\ The card is super convenient though, maybe I just picked a bad dryer. I will definitely be going back! EDIT- After going back twice more to this Laundromat, I still say I am a big fan of it, But the dryers most definitely never work for me. My clothes are always sopping wet and get moldy once I bring them to my mold-inducing apartment. I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my laundry needs due to this. Does anyone else have this problem?? read more

Clean, the lady is nice. I went to the crappy, dingy laundromat on Bascom/Shamrock (by the liquor store) before coming here. The soap dispenser gave me the wrong product, so I called the number posted to see if the owner would switch it out for me. He laughed at me. So I told him I would take my business elsewhere. Lee Laundromat is just north on Bascom/Curtner and so much cleaner, brighter and friendlier. The woman attending the shop saw that I just had a large quilt, so obviously wasn't a frequent laundromat user. She didn't make me pay the dollar to buy the money card. I just paid her and she used her own card. How nice is that?! I think it would be worth purchasing the card if you frequented this place though. More convenient. I'll be back with my oversized quilt again next year. :) read more

I just moved in the area. I was going to another laundromat which was small and a little dirty. I used to go to a Lee laundromat on the east side. I found this one and I am so happy. Clean, machines are well maintained. Go to place for bedding and heavy loads. Just wish they would take credit cards.

Searched far and wide for a laundromat that accepted "plastic money" as I never carry cash, and needed to wash a big item, just once. Lee Laundromat seemed to be the only game in the whole Bay that appeared to use cards instead of coins. Yes, they use a card system, but no, somehow, they tied cash together with cards - the reloading machine only accepts cash (wtf?! No, really, WTF?). There's one of those "convenience store robbery" ATM machines in the corner that usually charges a $5+ fee to use it, but this one was only $1. It didn't accept my Visa card, though (apparently I never set a PIN for it?), so I was stuck. tl;dr: I left and came back with $20. The card-vending machine was confusing (even for a tech geek), prompting me to insert $1 and $1 alone ("exact change") to get a card, yet there's a loading bonus if you add $20 - which I had. So, to get a card, I can't get a "bonus". Weird. There was a kind, though thick-accented, man (is that you, Mr. Lee? :) ) that broke my $20 and gave me a card pre-loaded with $0.25 + $19.75 change. I loaded the card, got my wash done, and have no complaints! Just having debit/credit accepted at the card terminal would get full 5 stars! read more

Update - the bad manager is gone. Turns out the regular manager was on vacation. Happy! I hope that runt doesn't come back. I absolutely love this place. With this current economic downturn, I love finding bargain places. Star 1.) If you put $20 in the Laundry card machine, it will give you $23 back on your Laundry card! 2 free washes, I am so down with that! Star 2.) There's always parking. Star 3.) I am never waiting for washers or dryers. Star 4.) The place is always clean and maintained. The only reason why I am not giving this place 5 stars is because the owners got rid of the lady that used to work here. I liked her, she was really nice. One time I left to hit the gym after I put my clothes in the dryer. When I came back she already folded all my clothes. That was really nice of her. read more

I have been coming here for seven years and have often been missing items out of my laundry and even lost all of my laundry soap and bleach before.
