Six weeks ago I was planning a move from Santa Ana, CA to Phoenix, AZ. I had a large apartment: 2BR 2BA, Office, kitchen & dining area, also balcony and garage. I was totally stressed, pressure at work, and busy all the time and I'd only packed like 2 small boxes of clothes and décor. Terrified, I looked up movers in Craigslist and called a guy, he said sorry he doesn't do such large and interstate moves. Then 5 minutes later I got a call from the guy, and he said I should call RICHARD and he gave me the number. So I called RICHARD right away, and he said he'd be over later that afternoon. Well RICHARD showed up as he'd said and I walked him though the apartment, all the rooms plus balcony and garage. Not much later, Richard explained how he would handle the move, including doing all my packing, disassembling beds, loading his truck, and arriving at my new place in AZ the next day to unload and set up everything as I wished! Richard gave me a firm quote on the spot, we discussed details, and BANG! We had a contract. I breathed a sigh of relief and my stress level dropped considerably, no more worries! Day1: Richard and Angel came and wrapped every piece of furniture, handled my antiques and good pieces with extreme care and had everything ready for loading. Day2: Last minute items were boxed and readied, and piece by piece in a very logical order were loaded onto the truck. Day3: RICHARD's truck arrived at the same time as me, and once I got the keys and opened the apartment, Richard and his crew unloaded piece by piece, beds set up. Come 1pm Richard was on his way back to California and I was happy with all my things in perfect condition, a very satisfactory and happy ending to a major event in my life! AMAZING and AFFORDABLE?!?! If you don't use these guys, you're crazy!!! I was needing a mover for my move to Ladera Ranch. I called a few and not one answered or returned my calls within 24 hrs. So, I asked my brother, who moved recently and he went on and on about Quickmove 4 Less. Literally, he wouldn't stopping talking about how amazing they were. I called and the phone was answered immediately by Richard. He exuded professionalism and although he said the schedule was pretty tight, he could accommodate me for when I needed to move. I actually felt a huge relief that someone was actually working around what I needed. He followed up with me prior to the move to verify he would be there, size of the crew he was bringing, and that he would be punctual. I opted for a 9:00 Saturday morning move. This time though it was an interstate move and we were extremely anxious and worried as we were searching for a great mover and online reviews for many other large companies were less than ideal. My new home has a very unique layout. Therefore, I had a unique job that many movers were shying away from. It required a plan w/ the proper equipment, plus the right personnel. I got a referral and called "Quick Move 4 Less" (QM4L). They were Excellent !! Prompt, professional and friendly. They came with a plan and the right equipment. Ask for Victor. He is the mastermind for how to get heavy objects into tight spaces and around corners w/out damaging your walls or wood floors. QM4L was professional, smart, careful...and treated my newly reno-ed place like it was a $3MM home. If you can request Lewis to be on the crew also, you'll be happy (trust). Richard -the guy in charge- explained to me everything before starting with patience. He answered all my questions and always worked with us in our specific needs all the way. The couple of guys that were supposed to help me move were no where to be found 2 days before I needed to move & be out of my place. Moving is never one of the easiest things to do in life, but Richard and his guys made it a much more pleasant experience. He works right alongside his crew to make sure everything is done in the most efficient way possible. They carefully wrapped and protected all of my belongings. They even removed my TV's and took the mounts out of the walls for me. Even my delicate plants from my yard made the trip without damage. His flat rate was a great deal. I've never had a move be finished so quickly. My new residence has an upstairs loft area which is only accessible via a very narrow spiral staircase. Instead of saying he couldn't do it, Richard found a pretty ingenious way to pull my heavy entertainment console and desk up over the railing using straps and a lot of man power! The team put all of my furniture back together in my new house and even hung the clothes back in my closets before leaving. I would definitely recommend his service. Richard moved us last week, and I cannot possibly say enough great things about him and his team. My main concern with the move was that our new house has newly refinished hardwood floors, and I was extremely worried about them getting scratched. These guys were so cautious. They were pleasant, hard workers. It was a very long day, and they were kind the entire time and did whatever I asked of them with no questions asked. I bought them a nice lunch (not pizza!), and they were super appreciative. The day before the move, Richard sent out two guys to help me finish up packing. Richard and his crew did our local 4 bedroom house move for us a few months ago (on a hill, with lots of stairs, etc...). They call you prior the day prior to make sure everything is still a go, show up on time and go to work. This is a very hard working crew. They even moved a very large sit down 1,000lb+ arcade game (which others I called wouldnt even touch). I normally dont even both writing reviews, but in this case it is warranted. This is a stand up company, timely, honest, professional, ethical, and just did a fantasic job all around. Very fair price and came in around the original estimate. Extremely unreliable and a waste of time. Movers were supposed to be at the apt btw 8-9am. Received a call the night before stating they couldn't make it till noon. We called again the next day around 12pm and was told they would show up around 2-3. Seriously?! The dude gave some lame excuse stating they had truck problems when clearly they were doing another move when we had called 2 weeks prior. We got fed up and called other places and we got lucky and was able to hire someone else the last minute. I wouldn't recommend these movers at all. I don't have time to sit around for 6 hours to see if the movers we hired will show up or not. They're extremely unprofessional. read more
