At my previous apartment, we stayed for a while to make sure everything was going smoothly before driving to our new place. When we left, the crew appeared to have already moved the majority of our belongings out. It took us about 40 minutes to drive to the new apartment, plus another 20 minutes to get settled and make sure our cat was safe. An hour after we had left, I received a call saying they had just finished loading the truck and were only then heading to our new apartment. Given how much had already been completed before we left, that timeline didn't make sense to me and left me questioning how efficiently the remaining work was being done. Another frustrating part of the experience was that, at both the pickup and delivery locations, the movers repeatedly asked me where they should park the moving truck. I don't drive commercial moving trucks, and I hired professionals because I expected them to know how to handle those logistics. I was also told that if they received a parking ticket, I would be responsible for paying it, which I found unreasonable. Once they arrived at the new apartment, the pace continued to feel unnecessarily slow. There were multiple trips carrying only one or two small items at a time. Eventually, my partner and I started helping unload our own belongings because we wanted to get the move finished. We also noticed several bathroom breaks throughout the job, which only added to the feeling that the process was taking much longer than necessary. The final interaction left a bad impression as well. I fully intended to leave a tip for good service, but before I even had the chance, one of the movers repeatedly asked for cash after I had already explained that I didn't have any. Being pressured for a tip at the end of an already disappointing experience felt unprofessional. Moving is already stressful, and I hired professionals hoping to make the day easier. Instead, I left feeling that the job took much longer than it should have, communication was poor, and the overall experience did not justify the cost. I can't recommend this company based on my experience.

I had already packed about 99% of my stuff, so they mainly needed to wrap furniture and box a few larger items I didn't have boxes for. They worked fast but were extremely careful. They loaded the entire truck in about 3.5 hours, which was impressive considering I was moving from a house to a house and had a lot of furniture. The unloading in Las Vegas was even more impressive. They finished in about 2 hours, including putting two beds back together. One of them was a heavy Sleep Number bed with the base, and I honestly don't know how they managed to get it down the stairs in California and back up the stairs in my new house without a scratch. No damage to anything. Rob was the lead on the crew and did a great job communicating the whole time, asking where things should go and making sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The whole team was friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. The price was also very fair for the distance, especially compared to other quotes I got. Overall, this was one of the least stressful moves I've had. I would definitely use TopCare Movers again, and my brother is already planning to use them for his move in May. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Wonderful. I hired Moving Packing Services for a local move from Long Beach to Los Angeles. Since the closing was delayed 2 times for my new house, I had no issue rescheduling the move. I submitted a quote request to three local moving companies near or in Long Beach. The move was from a 1st floor house unit in Lakewood to a 4th floor 2-bedroom apartment in Downtown. -- no elevator so three flights of stairs! I had roughly 30 boxes, 3-seater couch, a 3-shelf bookcase disassembled, kitchen table with 3 chairs, some misc. items -- not a lot of stuff. One company, Expert Long Beach Movers, estimated $1200 for 7hrs work for 4 guys and truck. Moving Packing Services estimated $950-$1100 for 6-7hrs work for 4 guys and truck. I got sticker shock with a quote of $1400-$1600 +$35 gas for 8-9hrs of work with 4 guys and truck with a company that rhymes with Mission Movers. I couldn't imagine paying over $1200 for this move?!?! I think Moving Packing was closest to what I estimated for how long it would take, 6-7 hrs, and also it was closest to the pick-up location, which helps with the charges, since charges start when the truck leaves to go to the pick up location. Matt had kindly called me to follow up on the email quote, which was nice. Ok the movers were rockstars and super fast -- Pavel, Gadi and Kevin. Gadi was amazing - wrapped the couch all by himself, loaded dollies quickly and he was real gentle wrapping my moms kitchen table Pavel really packs a neat, organized and buttoned up truck. Gadi goes up and down stairs a bit too fast and I even mentioned slowing down because the speed made the stairs slippery. So the job was completed in warp speed -- 6 hours!!! I tipped well 20%+ because the guys put in good effort, did a great job and I felt they took good care of my things. Not only did they get everything in quickly, but they assembled and arranged everything exactly how I wanted it, including rolling out the carpets, Cannot recommend this company strongly enough, whether it's a local move or long distance! The same guys will load your truck, drive your truck, and unload your truck, so they know how to re-assemble your furniture as before, etc. I actually think they reassembled my bed better than my shoddy original assembly. Lastly, a bag of screws fell and were left in the truck and Mike called to let me know to pick it up, which was great. I plan on moving again soon and will definitely use them again. This is my 2nd move with Moving Packing Group and I highly recommend. The communication is great from start to finish.Moving is typically a fact of life that I am forced to tolerate but I thoroughly enjoyed my day with this moving company. What made this move so great? 1. Punctuality- they came within the arrival window. 2. Respectful and Courteous- they always addressed my wife and I with respect and treated our belongings with respect. I will admit that I wasn't the easiest client to deal with because I forgot a number of significant items when I was making the initial quote. This had the potential to be an awkward conversation but they brought it up in a respectful manner and clearly communicated that changes needed to be made. This resolved the problem (that I created) without issues. 3. Self Directed and Flawless Communication- as someone who travels the country teaching people how to communicate more effectively, I was thoroughly impressed with their level of communication and professionalism. As soon as they arrived they set clear expectations and asked a lot of questions to get an understanding of our goals. Once we were all on the same page, they were self-directed and pretty much handled the move from there. Whenever there was any confusion they ask questions and achieve the clarity they needed to move forward. 4. Quick and Careful- I could not believe how quickly they were able to complete this move. I recently used Moving Packing Group for two local moves (moving out of my one bedroom into storage, and then from storage into my new place), and they were amazing. They protected the TV, furniture and glass, disassembled and reassembled everything as well. I loved that they lay down mats so they don't track dirt on your clean floors. Both times they came on time, packed up my items quickly and carefully, and were generally very friendly, courteous, and professional. I really appreciate that they don't try to nickle and dime you on packing supplies and hidden fees. Their quote price will seem a little bit expensive, but it was worth it. And there were none of those hidden fees. The company seems very honest, and I will definite recommend to anyone who needs stress free, reliable and professional moving services. These guys are the best! First time using a moving company to pack our things. They took a tour through the house and listened to everything we needed packed and what was staying in the house. They asked great questions and remembered everything I told them. They packed up the house so quick and efficient! While one guy packed, another guy took loads of furniture and boxes out to the truck, and the third guy loaded it and fit all my stuff into the truck like a perfect jigsaw puzzle. They come prepared with extra boxes if you need to buy more from them and they bring tape, shrink wrap, and wardrobe boxes. It was such an efficient and impressive job! Our movers today were Cristiano and Matt and we are truly satisfied with the excellent service they provided us. These two were friendly, professional, polite and respectful. We appreciate how the move from Anaheim to Torrance was swiftly done but with extra care. We had our things in our one bedroom apartment moved into our new home in 3 hours and they were all in good condition. My husband and I felt comfortable to see that these two were putting extra effort in carefully loading and unloading our things and even made sure they were all secured in the truck. They shrink wrapped our bed frame, mattress, dressers and even our boxes that needed wrapping. My wife and I hired Moving Packing Company in November, 2019 for a local move from Orange County to Los Angeles. They did an exceptional job. The movers were very friendly and cooperative. They gave me an initial quote and there were no surprises. They made it so easy that I actually wondered if they were going to show up as scheduled (they did, of course). My wife and I wrapped and packed all of the smaller items in boxes. The guys from Moving Packing wrapped all of the bigger items. I was looking for a moving service that valued the integrity of my furniture and valuables. Luckily I found a service that could also value my time and could work on a schedule. I found these folks on Yelp. I worked primarily with Vio to set up the move, and he was also there the day of the move. They plastic wrapped all my furniture and also covered the sensitive furniture with a thick tarp/blanket for added protection. I would definitely recommend these folks, I really appreciated how polite and responsive they were to my feedback. Moving Packing Group was exactly the help I needed. Moving can be stressful and hiring the right people to make that day go smooth is imperative. Moving Packing is a cut above the rest. My guys Lorenzo and Joshua were fast, efficient, took great care of my property, and went above and beyond helping me set up my bed. Customer service from start to finish was top top notch. Vayo and Leo were AWESOME!!! They really helped make our move so much easier and stress free! They made sure to package everything carefully and even made sure we were happy with placement of all of our furniture at the new place. They were fast in and out and even came a little sooner than I had been scheduled which was great for me! From booking my move with Vio to having my furniture and valuables moved by Lorenzo and Lucas - the whole experience was worth more than 5 stars. Vio accommodated my needs and provided me with the best possible pricing and Lorenzo and Lucas were super careful and respectable with moving every single item. Simply amazing! They helped my friend and I move into a new apartment, they showed up on time, and did an amazing job! Nothing got broken, and everything was wrapped with care! They were also so fast and got everything done in less than 4 hours! (That includes the hour long drive that it took to get to our new apartment). So technically everything was done in less than 3 hours. Insanely sufficient and very nice people. I would highly recommend them! Hired this company last minute and they were fantastic. They came on time and were very fast to move everything in and out of the house. Vaio and Victor were our movers and they are very nice. They put paddings and plastic on our furnitures and had no problem bringing them up to 2nd floors of the house. They also provided us tools to disassemble some of our stuff. I definitely recommend them and would use again for future movings. A+! read more

Vayo and Victor were VERY efficient in moving all of our heavy furniture and appliances to 2 locations in a few hours, even to the 2nd story! I was impressed by how carefully they packed and moved our stuff with no damages (especially the delicate stuff like my vanity mirror), and that they helped me set the furniture to where I needed them. I called a few places to get quotes and as soon as I spoke with Mike, I knew we had the right crew. Mike came by the house in advance to see what we had to move and to provide a quote. On the day of, they arrived right on time and provided the garment boxes and large bins for the extras, which were a big help, as they disassembled and packed up the furniture. My parents ran their own small business for 25 years, and we've always tried to support others in the community whenever possible. During the move I asked the guys if they also hauled junk, which they do. We were so happy with them during the move that we just scheduled them to come haul the junk a few days later. They sent Geo and Jeremiah to haul the junk, and again they were fast, efficient, and had amazing attitudes. After my experience I would definitely use and recommend them for moving and junk hauling. During our most recent move (a 1,000 sq. ft. condo and full garage), the movers argued with each other throughout the day, and one mover spoke nonstop about his personal life, which made an already stressful day feel chaotic and unprofessional. They repeatedly complained about the amount of items to be moved, despite the size of the condo being modest. The move took significantly longer than expected. More concerning, they failed to remove numerous items from the garage -- including multiple boxes and other belongings -- which we did not discover until after a very long day when we returned to the property to turn in the keys. We then had to spend over four additional hours making repeated trips in a small sedan to retrieve everything that had been left behind. They also left a marble dresser top (which is not easily moveable due to weight, which is probably why it was left behind) and a 16" x 4" cylindrical item. The owner initially stated he would arrange to pick them up. However, when I followed up, I was told I would be charged a three-hour minimum for them to retrieve items that their crew failed to load in the first place. This experience reflects a serious decline in professionalism, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this company. Oh, and the owner closed his convo with "God bless", lol.

From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. The two movers Slava and Dima (Dimitri) who handled my studio move were true professionals. They went above and beyond by wrapping and protecting items I hadn't even thought to protect, making sure everything arrived safely without a scratch. They partially disassembled my twin bed, transported it, and reassembled it flawlessly at my new place. Every item, no matter how big or small, was handled with incredible care and attention to detail. I also have to commend them on their ability to move all my things up two flights of stairs since the elevator at my complex was broken! They made what is usually a stressful experience feel smooth and effortless. On top of the excellent service, their pricing was very fair and well worth the cost. It's rare to find a team that's fast, careful, and affordable, but they checked every box. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers.
